This made me so happy .. and a little sad to see. This Christmas was supposed to be one of the best for my family :( i found out after a positive first trimester ultrasound and a cvs procedure, that I am having a healthy baby girl (due in June) ... I was celebrating with my other half and we were so happy. Not even 5 hours after that I got news that he had been unfaithful multiple times.. and he is now trying to justify it. Seeing this vlog made my heart warm because I know our Christmas just won't have the happy spirit.. but I'm also sad because my favourite holiday is ruined and I wish so much that I could have a big, loving family like yours :( but I really don't have anyone, expect my son, and my little
bump.. it makes me so thankful that I have my kiddos and I can still try to enjoy the holidays with my son. It's so hard getting through this time of the year with a broken heart :( you are all so lucky and so blessed. I hope to have this one day ❤merry Christmas

Ellie, your dad is so right about having the love of Christ in our hearts. Many years ago I told the Lord that I knew it was not possible for me to love people as much as He does, so I asked Him to help me love the way that He does. That was one of many prayers he has answered in my life. As I have told people, when you truly love people forgiveness comes so easy. When you truly love people, kindness, compassion/empathy, etc. are so very easy................White Christmas in North Dakota? Check. We're expecting a big storm to hit later today (Christmas).
This was such a joy to watch...you both are such great parents, and good-hearted people, giving and humble in the act. Your entire family was wonderful at your get-together, and the children were so sweet. I love the little talk that your parents gave the group before presents were opened. It made my heart so happy, watching it.

When the grandparents were sharing about the love of our Heavenly Father~is where I totally fell apart. It seemed like 2 minutes from the time Ellie said there was no snow and then there was like an inch on the cars, lol. Really glad you all made it home okay and now you can just spend the storm in your beautiful new house all together!!!!
I have to say though, this whole vlog had me in tears. I had the biggest family growing up and we had a party on Christmas eve every year at my Godmom's house. It seemed like every year, the family got bigger and bigger and I thought we would always be together for Christmas at least. Since she passed away, the family has grown further and further apart to the point that we don't even talk anymore. I really, really miss them and it is just heartbreaking. Now, on Christmas eve, it is just me and my 3 children that spend time wrapping presents, making cookies for Santa and singing carols and just being together on Christmas eve. I pray that you all never lose your passion for family. Please stay close together and never let petty, greedy issues get in the way of family. You guys are so awesome. Merry Christmas.

My Mum had terminal cancer and this will probably be her last Christmas so this is a very special Christmas for me. It's nice to see your family so happy and it gives me hope for the future
