Like most Americans I first heard After The Fire's excellent cover of "Der Kommisar" and then the great ATF compilation released in 1982 not even realizing most of the songs like "Laser Love" were released several years earlier as far back as 1979, but they were worth the wait and still sound great!
They official split in the 1980s (1982 if I remember correctly). They have sought of had reunion gigs. There were three that I went to: Sydenham, Dagenham and Kingston.

This band. Ahead of their time. I don't remember hearing about them in the 80s, but I do remember Lazer Love. Probably would have guessed 77s
