When I do a mesh wreath on a pine base I start on top placing the mesh at 12 3 6 &9 o’clock and then fill in as needed. It always comes out very evenly. Tfs
Rosemarie, this design was to use the base more for a place to put ribbons, bows and signs. I do agree with you that evergreen wreaths are stunning when the pines shine forth.
@@KatsCreationsNMore as does my husband Robert and Logan my grandson. I love to buy the first carton of eggnog and see the joy on their face when I give it to them. I love your designs by the way.
I started watching you about a month ago. Saving all your videos. I started getting serious with my wreath making but im stuck on request from my daughter. My grandson was deployed in july and i made her a deployment wreath. She wants a xmas wreath but also keeping it so it still is honoring Tims deployment. Im stuck. Any ideas? Loving this wreath on the pine form
Karen, you could do something along the lines of Blue Christmas and incorporate the colors of his military branch! A reminder that he will be home soon!
I had 1 bad customer rate me 1 star on Etsy for something that was not my doing. I asked her politely what I could have done differently to better her experience and she blocked me. No help from Etsy with dealing with the rating. I rarely sell there now. I honestly sell more on FB than anywhere else. I tried Ebay once. It cost me every penny of the sale just to ship the wreath. I much rather sell face to face. ;-)
Urgh, I so understand what you are feeling! I really wish there was more of a support system for their sellers seeing as that is how we make Etsy money. They are getting a portion of what we sell. There should be more seller benefits for anything.
Beautiful creation! Love all the ribbons. I don't care for the star seller thingy either. I was dinged because I received orders pretty late on Saturday 07/03/21, the post office was closed on Sunday 07/04 and Monday 07/05, so my orders went out on Tuesday 07/06. Etsy considered my shipping late and penalized me. Meh. I ship 7 days a week including the same day if something comes in early enough because I work from home and it's not an issue for me to run to our main PO that's open 7 days per week, minus holidays. I care more about my client's happiness and them receiving their items as soon as possible.
It's hard on long time sellers because of their weird criteria. I find comfort however that lots of long time sellers feel very much the same way. I just keep running my business the best way I can and that's all I can ask for. Etsy will adjust their criteria to benefit them and not for the seller side.
Do you have a list of the widths and lengths of each of the ribbons you are using? i am trying to figure out how many different widths of ribbons i need to buy and packages of embellishments i need to purchase.
Kat, that is one of my most favorite benefits my Private Group members enjoy. Mary from Florida, here, 2022, Hobby Lobby price for that wreath is $49.99, in floral. It’s Dec, 1 and they just unpacked them and put them in floral, not Christmas supplies and they are full price. Retailers are making wreath-making out of reach for average income makers to make any profit on their own. Many I know are going to natural greenery, bows and pine cones. Different times, different styles. I love your wreaths, but will make something like them by order only.❤😢
Here is a thought Mary and I agree with you about retailers is that wreath makers offer something that box stores don't and that's a handcrafted design that can't be bought. Since we sell online it gives just the right customer the reason to purchase ours versus saving money just to get any ol wreath for their home. People know quality when they see it and that is something no big box retail store can offer.

Thanks so much Karen! You are more than welcome.
I really enjoy watching you making a bow. You take time to show each step. Your wreaths and bows are beautiful. Thank you
Ah thank you so much Lee. I LOVE teaching.
You should stand the wreath on something to hold it so we can see what you are doing when adding more embellishments! But your work is beautiful 😊
I have changed the view now Bonnie, so its overhead or just beside me allowing you to get a better look at what I'm doing.
I love your channel and wreaths. I too add different picks to the finished product. Texture makes a difference 🤗. Thx for sharing your life and time.
Yes it does Tonya, gives a visual difference to looking at the same old items.

What glue are you using? Do you melt glue sticks in the pan? Is it a specific pan for glue?
Pretty love the wreath so colorful. May I ask where did you get your small skillet to melt glue sticks?

I use my evergreen wreath all year round.. love it.. I'm going to have to use this method for my Christmas wreath
Isn't this so simple to make any design for any holiday?
Hi, how do you attach the ties?
You can use a staple gun if the wood you're using is 1/4 inch thick with 1/4 inch staples or you can use adhesive cable ties and crazy glue.
Hi I love watching your videos I’m from Temperanceville Va and I would like to be able to do half as well as you keep them coming

Would you please tell me what wood burning tool you use when cutting the mesh? You mentioned it on another video. Thank you.
