It's just tragic. I know a lot of musicians leave us too early but this guy had a special talent and would have topped the world. It's kind of special that his talent can be remembered and revisited - despite the crap at least UA-cam grants us that.
The voice of this guy was so powerful ... Better yet, it's still powerful, it will never go out!
It's so beautiful, i just can't..
the thing that makes jeffs voice so powerful is that bcs he feels the song knows what he's singing and puts his own emotions into it which makes each one so special and sentimental
Wow didn’t know this existed until now. Fantastic version.
The light that will never go out.
Jeff follows this with a reggae section in the extended version which was released online recently. "When I die you'll find all these fuckin' basement tapes of me, just doin' fuckin' reggae for days", he says after to the recording engineer, half joking.
That's so cool. Thanks for sharing.
I imagine the enginer's face as the only answer to that.
I love you, Jeff.
Gorgeous version of the Smiths. Untouchable Jeff, why you leave us?
I like that he adapted songs to his style
Rip Jeff Buckley Rip Andy Rourke
The live version from the Meltdown festival is incredible.
... so beautiful his voice ... can't believe ...
I will always love Jeff Buckley.
My goodness, first time I heard this version, feel like I owe you so much...thankyou for everything Jeff
Beautiful version.
this is beautiful
The boy with the thorn in his side
Behind the hatred there lies
A murderous desire for love
How can they look into my eyes
And still they dont believe me
How can they hear me say those words
And still they dont believe me
And if they don't believe me now
Will they ever believe me?
And if they don't believe me now
Will they ever believe me?
The boy with the thorn in his side
Behind the hatred there lies
A plundering desire for love
How can they see the love in our eyes
And still they don't believe us
And after all this time
They don't want to believe us
And if they dont believe us now
Will they ever believe us?
And when you want to live
How do you start?
Where do you go?
Who do you know?
A fine rendition of a fine fine song.
Sweet voice.. 💜
This is just beautiful
this is amazing, i think even morrissey himself will appreciate this cover lol. This is so good that in a alternate universe jeff as the singer of the smiths would be a perfect fit.
Morrissey is a Jeff Buckley fan. He named Grace as one of his 12 favourite albums of all time.
Jeff Buckley was great, but Morrissey is the Smiths. The greatest lyricist in pop history.
This cover is THE cover
The Smiths ♡ Jeff Buckley ♡
Uma combinação bem-vinda!
WE LOVE
The most amazing combo
Jeff's energy didn't leave with him
Que voz!! Que versão!!
Um daqueles casos em que o cover supera o original, e não é qualquer original não, é o The Smiths né... Maravilhoso!
Jeff my dear ❤
happy birthday jeff!
Sweet, wonderful and beautiful voice of Jeff Buckley 💜🌺
Beautiful.
Uaauuu!! Didn't know It exists!!
Pure art as always
Search for the live version from the Meltdown festival.
I remember listening to the ultra shitty (quality wise) bootleg version that was the only available before this one. Damn it feels good to finally listen to this cover with clear sound
The rework of Marr's guitar riff is nice
Jeff, i bought Grace when a few local DJ's were touting your dark angelic greatness. this cover only accentuates how your voice transcends even time.
This is the Track!
thank you for this
Dang he ended it on a harmonic 😳
I’m in shock, how the hell did I not know this existed?
"Behind the hatred there's lies,
a murderous desire of love..."
We love you Jeff!! 17 11 2018
Loveee this
Essa versão é fantástica!
Great voice, great cover, honestly I miss Johnny Marr
People with negativity shush its not amazing but imagine its a fan which he is covering a song on youtube unknown by the world.
Passion has been lost to the sands of time. Such a sad lonely vain world we live in.
Good cover.
Só mesmo Buckley....
❤️
😍😍😍😍😍😍
Don't go swimming drunk, Jeff - we need you! 😢
💖💓💖
❤❤❤❤
😍
💜👌😅
f por mi buen jeff
Has anyone figured out how to play this on guitar yet?
ye
Genial cover pero me quedo con la particular voz de Mozz..💕
tuning?
Open G I believe but down a half step so...(Low -DbGbDbGbBbDb- High) I know that because of the harmonic he plays at the end. I hear a lot of octaves and the a minor 7 shape that's popular to use in open G in this song. Kind similar to other songs he plays in open G. I use to know this version... its been a while tho. If I get time this week ill try to tab out the chord shapes, sorry if I forget lol.
@@addisonneill9366 thank you
chords?
C major and variations over the minor relative Am7/Am and D or G on turnaround, Jeff change the patterns to emulate Marr original guitar riff over the acoustic guitar
You shouldn't have cut out the reggae part
The Smiths made the song, Jeff buckley made it a masterpiece with his voice and a guitar.
the smiths are far too precious for me for anyone to have their own go, as good as this sounds
Da ricordare
The version from Meltdown is so much better than this.
mm me quedo con la original
Huge fan for many years but alot of off vocals on this. Unfinished fun demo's really aren't a good idea to release. Doesn't do his abilities justice.
Meh.
