As an American girl doll collector, Kirsten has been off the shelves for quite some time but they’ve brought her back for what I think is the foreseeable future! American Girl is bringing back a lot of older dolls/ designs of older dolls and marketing them towards the older audience who grow up with them

Hi! They retired Kirsten in 2010. They have brought her back for a limited 35th anniversary release back in 2021. And they have recently in the past few years been bringing back the iconic og historicals in small releases. Usually just the doll and maybe 2-4 of their outfits/accessories. Idk if she will stick around forever. It really just depends on how well the dolls do I think. They don’t sell Kirsten’s books anymore. But so easy to find them for cheap and great condition on eBay! Congratulations on you doll! And I hope this info was helpful.

The outfit with the wreath and candles is called Kirsten’s st Lucia outfit, and is a special part of her “Kirsten’s surprise” book!
