It's impossible to find that color orange.. I've bought at least 10 online and had to return most of them because it's all too bright.. if you find one let me know
Great video, about my favourite Bond film of all time! (And my favourite Bond, George Lazenby!) Thank you! I’m not a fan of the ruffled tuxedo shirts, either. Nor do I wear pink shirts. But this film had a classy, tasteful wardrobe. Peter Hunt did everything right, including his selection of wardrobe designer. Lazenby has a build that looks good in anything! And, in addition to the best “gun-barrel” entrance, his strut into Moneypenny’s office is second-to-none. To this day, it sickens me how we went from this classic film, to that carnival “Diamonds Are Forever.” That was followed by Roger Moore’s bell-bottoms and the most dated wardrobe choices of all! By the way, the double-breasted navy blazer with grey trousers is one of my favourite outfits.
Always gratifying to come across a Lazenby fan! I’ve been one since first seeing “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” at Christmas 1969, in widescreen, in New York City’s Times Square. I came out of there feeling, yes, James Bond is in good hands! And then look what happened! Sorry to jump ahead of you. But aside from starring in a stupid film (looking old enough to be Lazenby’s father), Connery did not epitomize sartorial splendour. The cream suit with short pink tie, then the sport jacket cut from a curtain, signalled things to come. Moore’s lunch with Scaramanga, for example. Not until 007 reported to the Chief of Staff in “For Your Eyes Only” did Moore sport a sharp conservative suit. His casual and winter wear were excellent. But I’ll leave it to you to sort it all out! Keep up the good work - just leave aside the radioactive lint!
. @thomaschacko6320 Haha. Thanks. Yes there are some challenges ahead. Diamonds are Forever coming soon and apart from allowing some more humour in my video (thanks 70s) there are still some suits worth looking at.
Great subject for a YT channel, subscribed. IMO, you should consider doing videos on the style choices of politicians and heads of state over their careers, like Tony Blair, Sarkozy, Shinzo Abe, Berlusconi, Putin. Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Obama, ahem, Biden, etc and how they could work for the average guy. Also, maybe a video on anime characters who wear suits, of which there are many, rich guys, spies and yakuza etc, and how their choices would look in real life? Also, how about a video on the business ensembles described in Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho, which were absurdly mismatched for the sake of satire, and how you might "fix" their looks and correct their mistakes? I've never seen content quite like that
OHMSS has been a huge part of my life since I first saw it on a double bill in 1974. I have both the "Gumbold's Safe" grey Glenn Check suit and the "Palacio Arrival" cream linen suit, with pink shirt. I've restored my dream 1969 Aston Martin DBS to OHMSS spec, including the AR-7 in the bespoke glovebox. The special Gucci bag, as seen in the "Resignation scene" is loaded with the same props as used in the film. Took me years to find everything. 2 versions of the Trilby hat were used, one with the centre dent, which was tossed to Moneypenney in the wedding scene, and the C-Crown short brim which was seen in the opening intro on the beach. I believe that Dents has the dark navy Trilby, centre dent. The DBS will be finished this Spring, and I have plans to take her back to Newport Pagnell, her birth place, and so some scene re-enactments : College of Arms arrival, and maybe Portugal, depending upon the funds. A signed George Lazenby plate in the glovebox lid finishes the car nicely. I intend to enter her in the Concours of Elegance at Windsor Castle, displayed with flowers! Thank you for the great videos. Well, back to work. You've no idea how it's piling up!
Wow. That is so interesting. Well done on the clothes but of course the headline is the Aston Martin. It is the best Bond car of all time. I hope you do enter it into the Concours.
The grey suit in the movie was awesome very overlooked.
"Top 10 Sartorial Bond Crimes List"... Well played, Sir! LOL
Thanks.
The suit worn in Gumbold's office tops the lot for me.
Thank you for making this. OHMSS is my favorite bond movie and would love to rock the turtle neck outfit one day!!!!
Fantastic. Welcome to the club. Also Christopher Nolan's favourite Bond movie.

Great to hear from a fellow Lazenby fan. Yes, the next decade is a challenge for me.

Wow, that is an interesting thought.

This youtube channel need to be made.
Thank you.
Pink? Not as manly as lilac!
Didn't enjoy OHMSS, though Lazenby did pretty well, and Rigg was consistently gorgeous.
Good video.
Thanks.
Brilliant. M
A man can't go far wrong in life if he dresses and accessorises like Bond, 1962 to circa 1973. One must be very careful after that though.
Haha. Words to live by. I will be entering that trepidatious territory soon enough.
Why do you wear the oversized hats in these videos?
