5:30 or 5:32 the elite and the marine just combo-staggered! He made the brute flinch by shooting them on the back and the marine kicked them on the shin/stomach!

Makes me wish we had allied Elites. Hell could expand on this with allied Grunts and (very rarely Hunters) for full Sword of Sanghelios and UNSC alliance against the Banished.
I feel like we'll see the swords pop up in a dlc. Possibly pretty early on

Elites fighting alongside marines reminds me of the good old days when elites fought alongside with marines in halo 3.

Elites definitely handled them selves better than the marines in the last vid
i love when the elite activate their shield reflector.
Something about these battles feels to me like there's an underlying story to them - about a Brute leading a change of diet (and starting a farm after safety was secured with his own pack, supported with human and Sangheili labour), Elites revolting now that the leaders pushing them into their current situation(s) are no longer holding the reins, and so on.
I wish they could make marines can fall back on when taking too much of damage

Those hammer chieftains at the beginning made up for how badly they did in the Vs marines video where they were missing like crazy and getting stun-locked.

I'll be honest... I'm hoping for allied Jackals to show up at some point, mobile cover and great snipers. I mean, they are weak. But can be very effective.

Are you only able to spawn Minor and Major Sangheili or can you spawn others like the Ultra, Spec ops and General ones?
Some NPCs and ranks doesn't spawn on certain areas and levels but I will try to use different ranks in the future videos.

The elites should have been allies. And the spartans. The elites and spartans with you would’ve been perfect.
The moment marine got their own shield is the day they will single handly kill everything
Yeah you’d think that after producing spartan 4s they would start thinking on upgrading the standard troops after the war with better gear and armor, shields included. In fact I always wanted the Sangheili honor guard to have shield gauntlets similar in design to jackals but more rectangle shape like Roman shields. Mainly since it felt odd that they only had the armor, shields and staff to use and no other equipment when we see them depicted either not in combat or in combat.
Which a shield construct would go well with the energy sword! Go a bit medieval themed yet still sci-fi halo tech.

I remember when the gravity Hammer produced a field of extremely dense and then extremely little gravity that smashed you and sent you flying. It used to be a lot cooler.

the AI bahaviour looks quite simple on the surface
I may be wrong but from what I've played it seems like a lot of the marine AI is based around them following the Chief, other than that they are generally just stood around by roads or at FOBs. Feels like the ai gets a fair bit smarter when it has a player to follow.

i really bothers me that Plasma still makes enemies bleed. I know it's minor detail but come on.... over 20 years of Halo books detailing what Plasma does to flesh and metal yet the game developers are too lazy to show the difference between bullistics and energy weapons making contact with armor or exposed flesb
