Not sure, I mean I love roast spuds with herbage and salt n pepper on 'em... But I also love Xmas cake and then again Brussel sprouts... On the other hand Xmas pudding with brandy sauce is mighty fine and cranberry sauce!! 🤤😋
From this video, I would say maybe the pineapple upside down cake. No one in my Family made it. My Mother made homemade fruitcake weeks ahead of Christmas. I loved my Christmas dinner at my Grandparents. It was always pasta with all the meat from the sauce on a platter with salads. The desserts were all homemade traditional and were incredible. Torrone was always there and special fruits like persimmon and also fennel Bulbs cut up and served after dinner.
Yum! That sounds amazing! I love fruit cake, I also love Holiday meals it is just a feel good time. I carry on our family traditions and still cook the meal my grandmother taught me which is also pasta but we do clam spaghetti, prawns, crab, and a lot of sea food like salted fish Etc. I always make the deserts too. Thank you for sharing. :)
Everyone what is your favorite holiday dish?

Happy Holidays Limey.
Fruit cakes were given as gifts 😂
I remember making fruit cake with my grandmother as a small kid.
I'm praying that someone will grant me a goose for Christmas this year
Christmas goose is amazing! My family all are duck and goose hunters, however we always had to watch out for the buckshot not to break a tooth.
Yum smoked goose
I love pecan pie.
Yes very good, and I also love banana cream pie.
The pineapple cake use to be so delicious, I have not had any in years .
After I made this video I had to go make one! LOL
I'm going with gingerbread -- the cake kind, not the cookie kind.
That is a very good choice! :) Happy Holidays my friend!
Where did they go ? We still have most of these.
In most households people aren't making these much anymore. If you are than yeah for you keeping up and not letting these recipes be forgotten!
Most this is aweful just as it was when I was a child in the 60’s .
I was a 70's baby.
