Just got the Android 12 update for my verizon LG Velvet as of april 15th. Phone is speedier and smoother in operation ,,, Battery lasts somewhat longer !

I'm enjoying the LG Velvet just got it yesterday. I had to get a new phone because Cricket Wireless stated my Sony XZ2 was not a HD Voice compatible phone through the carrier after February 22nd. The Sony phone had a faster CPU speed, higher pixel density, other camera features, etc. Compared to my older phone the LG Velvet has more battery power, more RAM, bigger screen, double internal storage, head phone jack, and other features. Though the LG Velvet is taller then my older Sony XZ2 it's actually lighter which is also a nice bonus. I liked my Sony phone but I think I'll really enjoy using the LG Velvet. Great video comparison. :)

I have the same issue here, I have a galaxy note9 but I no longer be able to receive a phone call. I'm looking for a new phone right now, I may order an LG V60
@@skumar01_ I bought the v60 and it is a great phone but it went in a drawer and I went back to the v20. I just can't find a phone that I like nearly as much. I tried numerous samsung devices and didn't like any of them. The fingerprint on the power button is one of my favorite features.
Been using the v50 for a year now. Loving every minute of it especially listening music with a headphone and quaddac on. Value wise, it's lgv60 but i just can't get past the look of the camera notch. It reminds me of cheap China phones.
Love the Velvet. Only thing I have a slight problem with is the position of the power button. When I'm playing CODM or streaming, every now and then I'll accidentally turn the screen off because of the inconvenient location of that button & my need to keep the volume buttons on top. Besides that minor inconvenience though, amazing phone.
My honest opinion i think the v60 is the undisputed champ of LG Phones, Camera quality to me out of this world, build quality you can probably bruise yourself if you drop it on your person the build quality is so solid, ram management is excellent. That sucks. My experience has been that buying new or open box is the way to go. I think you're more likely to get a solid phone if you don't get refurb. Not sure what yours was. I bought V35 new,V40 open box and V60 open box on ebay when they were under $300. All of the phones work perfectly and hold charge like a new phone should. Well their mobile division did shut down in LG wasn't known for pushing out on time updates anyway so I don't know what to tell you other than wait lol
Still not out, I bought this phone because they said it would get the Android 12 and 13 update.
@@zachmasters7397 You don't want it I just got it on my T-Mobile V60 and it made it to where I cannot use rtt real-time talk and text without having the other person on the phone call accept a rtt call, so if you're trying to text somebody and talk at the same time with yout voice it's harder for me that's a big deal cuz I use that a lot, however I noticed the battery is worse and whenever you use talk to voice now or anything that uses the microphone they have this annoying ass green microphone up at the top right corner that shows you it's apparently a safety feature that shows you who could potentially be spying on you and it is really annoying Android 10 on the V60 was perfect in my opinion and 11 was okay.
Even in 2024 those 3 phones are great.
The V60 is the GOAT!

LG v60 (My Love)😍
Such a shame that the v60 did not have a faster refresh rate screen
It doesn't need it lol
I think it would be nice to have the faster rate but I probably would turn it off most of time anyways. I get about 12hrs on screen time with my V60. That is more useful to me.
@@musicalala having used other phones with 120hz I would have loved to see it here. It has amazing battery life so it could support the additional power draw. But at the end of the day this is a moot point
@@ziich1 I understand what you're saying.
@@ziich1actually feels like 120hz
