How can you not love AP7? I honestly think he's going to have his best 450 supercross season yet on the KTM for 22. He keeps describing the bike as feeling so natural to him and easy to ride, I can't wait to watch him race!

If he had switched from KTM to Yamaha, he would be saying the same general shit. “The bike felt soo natural, and easy to ride.” no kidding, you ride dirt bikes for a living. So yea, it’s going to feel natural and easy to ride.
On one hand, it was such a tough decision to leave Yamaha and go to KTM. On the other hand, it was a no brainer to switch brands. So… which one was it🤷♂️
I get why it’s tough to be transparent about the switch, but my goodness, this was pathetic.

Not a KTM Fan at all, but now I am forced to follow. Aarons a great guy for this sport. Cooper Web has the personality of a Rock, so they knew what they were doing putting Aaron on the team. He will sell bikes for sure.
Yes CW2 has the personality of a rock, and that’s because he’s a stone cold killer. Yes his personality is cold, but his story is absolutely incredible. He’s one of the greatest underdog stories in sports history.

Webb used to be a mad lad on the podium. Remember the “these French don’t want none” moment in the 250s? But I think he was getting into trouble with his loose comments and he’s now so boring and stiff that it’s almost disappointing when he wins because you know what you’re gonna get
Yeah guys….. cause you know everyone else is a regular Casanova on the podium! “Man what a great race, it’s nice to be up on the podium. Felt great all day hopefully we can keep it rolling into next week. I’d like to thank blah blah blah (takes a sip of his water in a chosen energy drink bottle)” idk about you but I’ve never seen Ricky Carmichael headlining a comedy club! Unless you know Webb personally….. it’s kinda messed up to judge his personality you just see what he has to show to sell his sponsors.
Aaron's interviews are the best. He is so open and honest and his answers do not seem scripted like so many other riders. Keep being you Aaron.

Aaron is a true throwback. its why he's the 80's guys hero and the modern kids anti-hero.
I think the 2 biggest reasons AP left were completely being forgotten about by the team when he had his foot injury and Ryan Sipes. He talked about not even getting called by the team when he almost lost his foot on Gypsy Tales and it sounds like he's planning to follow Sipes' lifestyle in a few years. KTM being where all the money is won in SX is a huge bonus.
That was before Star had taken over the team though. Dont think it'd apply in this case.

Legacy, Aaron's dad won 2 GNCC titles on KTM's. Also two of the biggest personalities are Billy Bolt and Toby Price, both on Austrian product. Price has a mullet also.

AP been my guy since he first went pro. I was bummed he left Yam cuz that’s what iv always rode but stoked he’s happy on the KTM. Can’t wait till A1

I'm fascinated that AP has never rode a KTM before...I would think a pro rider would try each bike to see which fits their style. Then take into account other factors.

AP is awesome but I can see a trend happening here....ktm literally can't bring any champions through the 250 class of their own anymore so they grab the star guys. It will be funny to see in a couple years if they grab colt Nichols or Justin Cooper.
Anymore? They never have since 250F's have been a thing. I think Marvin and Kenny got one and that's it... and it's not like they're just going after Star guys, I mean, before star never had a 450 program so they gotta go somewhere once getting on a 450. Marvin wasn't on star, Ryan was from Suzuki which who turned that team into a power house. Webb came over from factory yamaha which was a shit show, Star didn't have a team then. So it was only AP they signed from stars 450 program.
If Colt isn't on a 450 at 27yrs of age he ain't ever getting on one. You also have to realise Star's success has been built of grabbing older 250 guys from other teams aswell with only Cooper being the exception
@@yamahakid450f I mentioned a trend happening, it was admitted that Roger wanted Cooper Webb after all of his success with star racing before he stayed with factory Yamaha and also the same with Aaron plessenger. Also why do did you say anymore? And they never have but then u say Marvin and Kenny got 1? Ktm were always 1 of the favourite 250 teams especially when Kenny n Marvin was with them....I've stuck with blu cru even through they're atrocious period and the 250s were laughed at being last to have fuel injection. Since 2014 and the New design star has been nothing but dominant and have made even the older less successful guys from other teams even better. Perfect example Hayden deegan at present time has chosen star over ktm.
@@tcmx712 star has made older guys from other teams better...Christian Craig finally left honda and finally won races and was in championship contention. Also troll train A mart 32 yrs old just landed a 450 ride....there's people like bogle still riding on 450 teams and there's ppl like Dean Wilson on a factory bike so there's still hope for older guys and to be on a 450
@@darrylhookey4697 Craig was always just outside the top 5 when he was riding for honda 250 so he saw decent success. As for 450 he was just as succesful on the honda as he is on the yamaha maybe he would've placed even worse with Barcia, AC and AP missing bulk racings (and imagine if Anderson and Osbourne were in aswell). And his success in 250sx should be there as the guy is 30yrs old and he should be able to beat 18-19yr old rookies. I'm not saying if your older you can't score a 450 ride but there's no way an elite factory team will take on a older guy like Colt with so much more promising young talent
Love ap I used to race against his dad but I think he misses Yamaha I may be wrong I wish him well but rather see him on a Yamaha don’t think he really wanted to go there but I want him to do awesome raise hell and praise dale

No it wouldn’t they would have been an excellent team. Plus it would have been a 3 man 450 team like they had the other year.

Stat treats all their guys the same... that's why they have a lot of guys in both 250 and 450 team. And they expect the same thing from each guy, win, or at the very least be a top 5-podium guy. Anything less isn't acceptable and Bobby will do anything to get the bike where it needs to be for each guy to be at his best regardless if it piss's sponsors off or not. Marvin isn't ahead of AP on the team, he's lost his edge and decoster knows it. They expect him to be consistent but he won't be challenging for a title, he'll be doing good with a couple podiums and maybe a win if it presents itself. AP will be a consistent podium guy indoors and out, he'll get his first win, and will be up there in the points. However, Webb is the main guy and rightfully so
