  • In this episode I take you through my first impressions of the Kwikwire 14 circuit harness and I also compare it to the Painless fuse block I used to run and discuss other components of automotive electrical systems.

I'm rewiring a 77 F150 that was wired using two of those little fuse blocks and it's a nightmare. I ripped it all out rather than trying to figure it out and so far the kwik wire harness I just started installing seems pretty self explanatory. I love how the wiring is bundled into different groups and every wire is labelled, so even without diagrams or anything you could pretty much wire it all up.

Great comment. Yeah, I still can't wait to install it! It's been 9 months since I filmed this.

when I started wiring stuff I used the pre-insulated crimp fittings and as you know.. those look like doo doo. I learned to buy quality un-insulated crimp fittings and use shrink tube when done making the connections for a much better/cleaner look. Hope that helps.

Do you have a follow up after installation? Considering Kwik Wire for my build (70 Roadrunner). How did the install go?

I just came across this video, today. So, I have to repeat the big question; How did the install go? I see this was posted a year ago, and life being what it is, Have you gotten to installing this kit, yet?

Also, it’s going well. It is a well put together kit .my only complaint is the fuse panel structure is not as high quality as the painless but it also costs less so.....

@@MattsGarage I'll be watching those. I see your email address, on the video. I've got a bunch of questions on the subject of wiring. I bought a '79 T-bird, I have no idea about. Seems, the only things lighting up are, 2 idiot lights, on the dash. And the heater motor, in the fuse box.
