- Law of conversion of energy states that “Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another”. This law is the very basis behind the working of regenerative working. In this video, we will be discussing the basic working behind the regenerative braking.

God dammit, there is always an idian to explain specific topics of engineering. Godspeed India, thanks man
just a dude
@@larrywexner4163 nah bro every electrical engineering topic on the internet is explained by indians. They go crazy.
it was a great video with illustrated graphics but I would request you guys to please release a version which is simpler and easier to understand by people with less technical understanding.. keep up the good work.. cheers
How much less technical can it get?
Every other video on this topic failed to explain, or even to mention, negative torque. You have done it perfectly! Thanks for sharing this knowledge with us.
Damn it tooks me 2-4 replay to understood about this topic..btw good explanation
ohhh the accent makes it perfect
Believe it or not his accent is quite clear. I can send you a video about corona effect that'll make you laugh your ass off
@@moealpha8349 links pls
Very precise, and enjoyable to listen to.
It gives me comfort
Which accent is this.. ???
Best 3 min. explanation i have found. Thanks
Thank you for your feedback. You made our day! We look forward to continuing to serve you well :)
Can Regenerative braking bring the vehicle speed down to zero? At zero speed, there will be no induced emf, therefore no braking! Would not the one pedal vehicle be dangerous? As it will not be able to bring the vehicle to a complete stop.
Thank you for your good presentation.
Simple and clear!!! Thanks for the explanation!
Sir i am confused a little bit here you said that suffcient amount of braking torque cannot be implented on the machine during high speeds but the regenerative braking principle says that there should be a minimum threshold value to attain the sufficient amount of torque which means a speed range of 15km/h cannot deliver as per condition
1:25 ..if the tOrK!
Sir please explain the 15 minutes video nice video and good explanation ❤
Thanks for the informative video, will regen will work better on front wheels or it by default work on all four wheels?.
all 4 4 tegen per whell
Sir how much efficiency can be drawn from this system and is there any ways to improve its efficiency?
Yes there are ways to improve efficiency.
@@FioDavid767 what are they?
Little bit understood but How efficient is this?
And also energy is converting into heat energy as common scenario and motor is acted like generator as like in petrol car then what is the difference??
Great video
Sir plz provide short term 2week or 1month online courses for students .
It's better for us and less paid courses within 2k.
May I know what is the maximum and minimum speed limit at which regenerative braking can be applied to generate reasonable amount of power?
In case of an electric train, if supply frequency is to be lowered to maximize regeneration, then what is the limit of minimum frequency?

Worry of regenerative breaking is that battery can't absorb the sudden energy jolt from surge of power quickly enough for optimal intake...That's where you wonder if the energy surge should be used in friction engine, to make some hydrogen onboard the vehicle, and use that hydrogen fuel to charge a battery slower, so that it uses more of the power surge...but then again, a friction engine shouldn't be that hard to improvise using hydraulics and feeding battery cells directly anyway...options exist...."Multiple Supercapacitor" designs, passing charge back and forth with modest battery involved, could eliminate hydrogen option within five years even if batteries don't progress significantly...but likely BOTH will, while regenerative breaking should remain huge help regardless, especially since it's already in many ev's.
The amount of charge or energy it gives back is very small… unless you live in downtown NYC where you have to stop every 100 yards
@@datnwin It should make mechanical energy like a fly wheel, allowing for trickle charge, like wind up toy but possibly aided by inertia and wind drag under car...I'm starting to think transformer components would allow trickle charge even without friction breaking but it's still nice feature. Doesn't make sense a charging station is going to throw in a massive charge due to cobalt in ten minutes, that can't be broken up and duplicated in trickle charging over a thirty minute and longer drive. There's several options to recover the mechanical energy toward trickle charging...Mostly due to magnets and copper coils...Possibly lot of coils really help but compact...then there's thermal panels and small tanks to swap condensed air just for cold temp. Seems like limitless ways to recover the mechanical electrostatic energy during twenty minute drive. The heat of friction breaking would take at least five minutes to dissipate even from one deacceleration though, especially if pressurized. It's just about utilizing heat. Regenerative breaking could probably be more optimized as well since they are different. Musk wants charging stations to gain real state partners. The engineering to self charge is real for the life of the battery cycle.
Awesome video! Thank you!
Great video.
Tq for giving information
very well explained ! Thanks
Speaking speed is Fast from which we can't understand. Please slow it in others video.
nice 👍
H S you are brilliant
Thanks h s, great insights

How amazing 👍👍👍
Same time how much fun it would be if a same vehicle could recharge another battery while running which could be used as a backup for longer rides.

Great to propose ideas but its useless. Why not just charge the extra battery?
Which braking system is most suitable for regenerative
From Hybrid to Electric.

Well expalined man
Thanks man!
@@SkillLync There is any formula for regenerative braking
Excellent explanation but, more showing and less telling.
Hi sir, how much energy does this regenerative system generate?
I have a theory that you could charge your battery by kick pushing your electric skateboard and only using your regenerative brakes to stop what do you think of this theory?
both have regen brakiñg watch baçk top fúyree deln ekrrc hiver bóard
However you have to push harder...than you would...energy doesn't get created it is just transferred...you have to do the work and we can not make it worth the energy compared to largescale power production
Tamsak done friend keep safe god bless
friction break does not generate power to battery
yes otvdoße
Well explained. Thank you
Guten Tag. aufschlussreiches Video! Thanks. ☺
Psst: Es gibt viele Information beim Aquacentrum darüber - vielleicht kannst du damit ja was anfangen .. ;)
THANKU SIR
why using generatif breaking, when the rear wheel of FWD car just spinning wasting energy.... can't we make generator there ?????? can we ???
at least we save 30% maybe up to 50% energy back to battery ???? no ??
Lol
no.
@@sdubvt whyyyyy?????
We can
That's not possible...if you want generation from rear wheels you need to add two alternator there. Increasing weight, Increasing cost (2 alternator costs huge), Increasing complexity in vehicle designing, requiring another power converter circuit to convert and transfer energy into battery, increasing resistance to move rear wheels as we attached alternator to it.
You can imagine now how price and complexity is going to shoot up.
so it's magic, ok got it.
Now i know less, but it must be me.
I made infinity engine
So…basically all they did was put an alternator on the drivetrain

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!
I learned absolutely nothing from this vid. Thumbs way down
Too many Jargons, difficult to understand.
Sorry but you guys and Tesla need to wake up if you can tell them overcomplicate everything ????????!!!!!!!! I bet you would like to know what I mean sorry my secret
