- Justice Binta Nyako has fixed a date to rule on an application seeking to transfer the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, out of the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.
The judge of the Abuja federal high Court fixed May 20 for ruling.
Justice Nyako adjourned for ruling after listening to arguments on the application.
Kanu’s lead counsel, Alloy Ejimakor, informed the court that Kanu’s continued detention in the DSS facility would mitigate the accelerated hearing ordered by the court.
God will guide and protect nnamdi kanu,all the evil plots of the federal government against him shall not stand, the intimidation is too much.
Binta nyaku is not judged for the people but for the politians and she will regret when the time comes.
When will the time come, and what makes you think that if anything happens to her, it is bcos of Kanus case or anything she has done. Even saints face misfortunes.

Kanus lawyers have a point. It places the prosecutors at an advantage to have access to discussions between Kanu and his lawyers. It shouldn't be. But DSS also have a duty to ensure that Kanu is secured bcos if anything happens to him, they are liable.
