I was in the original cast in London and have found some old video footage behind the scenes and will post up for folks to see , especially the wonderful singing of the late Martin smith and Kevin Colson
The original London production is my all-time favorite. I was at the closing performance. It was one of the most moving experiences I have ever had watching a show.
OMG!!! Thank you, thank you so much for uploading, Never thought I would see parts of it again... Saw the original London production 3 times in 1991, while still being a student, one of my all time favorite experiences in the theatre. Unfortunately a lack of audiene during the gulf war lead to the premature closing of this spectacular show. Never has any other production I've seen in the 25 years since come any close to what this Original was!!!! (I then waited for months for the original cast album to be released... luckily own the double LP for the Original CD, which I also got, deteriorated due to cd-bronzening, and is now a much sought after colletors item.... ah well.) Anyway, this production was legendary.Thanks again!
thanks for posting . i saw children of Eden in London when it opened .the start of the 2nd act the cast were in the auditorium and Frances Ruffelle was standing next to us . fond memories .
wow!!!! i was Japheth when this was staged in our city in Cebu.... Good times with the cast. Really formed me and am able to use the lessons I learned in theater.

I do have her singing that on a 12" Vinyl single! It's another thing I'll have to try and transfer soon :-) I have had this on VHS for 20 years! Thanks for the comment

I really desperately want the album version to this musical & along with songs(in whatever time we have,stranger to the rain and the dove song) sung by frances. do have the vinyl version of on my own she sang after winning her tony in 1987? can ya upload that one too! if you can...p.s: I don't if you're fan of hers or not but she's putting out a new album called I say yeh-yeh.

Watched this the Night it 1st Aired on TV on Wogan! Still have it on Tape somewhere! Excellent Musical!x
