Love this song and hate barre chords but I need to stop avoiding them. Saw another guy teaching the main rhythm with C-Am-E-F...,which while I can play it,...just doesn't sound right. I'll keep working on it. As someone else mentioned it's going from the E to the first barre that I just can't do quickly enough. I can play the barre chords, I just can't switch to and from them quickly enough....

well I'm a beginner and I'm learning it it has taken me a month of regular practices (but not very along though) and I can say that I almost got (I get the chords most of the time but still there's 20% to hold them wrong)

+Mia Thirtyonetwentyone As it's a short repetitive riff I don't have TABS for this one. There's nothing stopping you from jotting down the handful chords yourself. Keep on playing.
Well i can play the whole thing but the problem is i can't sing and play the strumming accurately at the same time and the i face the same problem when i try to sing cigarette daydream by cage the elephant.

don't play Barre chords. play Hendrix chords. I play Barre and Hendrix style chords.
What are Hendrix chords?
