No union to disrupt the business and 24 / 7 workers, no break, no food, no theft, no moaning, no health cover, no toilets to clean, no car parking needed, no windows, probably work in the dark.

@@gallos877 The last version costed 250000 dollars and they said the new version would cost less. You might think it's still expensive remember if the robot costs less than the human it replaces in two years time than its worth it.
Let's say there's 3 shifts to work 24/7 so one robot would replace 3 humans, in the us the lower wage is around 30k per year so 30*3*2 years equals 180000 dollars. If the new version costs less than 180k than it's worth it for amazon.

I wonder how much one of these robots cost because a worker makes about 38-40k a year working at Amazon and that's only 40 hr/week.
A robot can work non-stop if it has continuous power, doing 2 times the amount of work in a day with no breaks. Easily worth 2-3 workers.
They need no holiday, PTO, maternity leave, or sick leave. Only occasional maintenance.

It won't just be one company using such robots. They'll all end up doing it, because of competition. And these robots will save them lots of money, and those savings will be passed onto consumers due to competition as well. If my competitor lowers prices because they can afford to because of their cost-saving robots, then I'll be forced to lower prices too, due to competition. That means cost of living will go down across the board, because things will make it to market at less cost. Manual labor will be most easily replaced.

How is a person to be able to pay for anything when they dont even make enough to pay for rent, food, cloths etc and those unexpected life emergencies which eat away at once already taxed to death pay.

To me there were parts of the original video that were clearly CGI mixed with actual video and nobody ever mentioned it in any comments. It's pretty obvious from the edits and the fact that the robot design makes no sense. Why the light eyes? Wouldn't a 360 camera on a swivel make more sense. But whatever. Gotta quit looking it up.

Why are people acting like Amazon is the only job out there? Where will the people who are laid off go? Ummm to another job? There are plenty of job vacancies out there. People were employed before Amazon and they’ll have jobs to work at after Amazon. It’s not the end of the world. And don’t talk about how other jobs are automating too, they’re not. Again, there’s a labor shortage in this country, that’s where the Amazon workers will go. Stop being dramatic and acting like Amazon having robots is the end of the world.

~• I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as faith and patience. We should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end. Our prove text is taken from the book of John 5:31-44, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12, Daniel 7-9, Revelation 13-15, Matthew 24-25 and Luke 21. Let us watch and pray... God bless you as you share this message to others.
