Amazing podcast! Well diverse and a high level of awareness. I love how KD mentioned the importance of not inflicting our fears as adults (or put who have experienced the world) on the lens of someone who is curious and interested in knowing the world (our children). Patience is key. Not only with others but ourselves. Overall, I truly feel this podcast was not about these four perspectives we are looking at on the podcast but more so of their higher self and their expectations of them being greater. Especially for the children. LOVE IT! KD is dope! Y’all kilt this one! We need another podcast! Let’s go!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. The range of topics discussed here were deep and I enjoyed hearing all your perspectives on these things. Love that KD joined you guys. Thanks for sharing y'all. Keep it up! 🫶🏾
I feel like the best way to deal with a woman in survival mode when it comes to expressing her emotions, you have to ask specific questions. You can’t just ask “what’s wrong” if you know she has a hard time expressing what’s wrong. Be specific in your questioning. When did you start feeling like this? Why do you think you are upset a little this? What changed from then until now that got you to this point of anger or sadness? It’s not necessarily begging her to express herself but showing her how to articulate how she feels.
Even if a man told her from the jump what it was, what if she ended up getting pregnant anyway, so it would then be ok for him to not be present and help take care of the child? And would getting childcare services on him if he ain't taking care of the child be wrong?.
I’d definitely support a KD podcast ❤

I'm glad you brought a woman in for this episode.
