I got everything I needed including the pvc cement and spent $42. I just finished mine and the grandkids are gonna love it. I get back inside and get on UA-cam and see this video 😂😂. I could have saved some money, but I got some good experience. Thank you for going into detail on your videos. I have a small pool for the grandkids this year. Next year I'm getting a bigger one and I'll have everything I need already. I've upgraded everything on this 10×8 pool I have including that same sand filter you have on yours.

I have a summer wave elite pool try installing a fountain sprinkler similar to like your video and is there adapter that goes on the inside of the wall where the water is at because when I took off my return, the sprinkler just goes inside of my return with no female threading or nothing inside of my pool Any suggestions are different adapters that I can buy?
Yes it requires the pump to be running, if it says that in the pool instructions I have no idea why. I’ve had this for 2 years now and it works greats. The pool manufacturer is probably adding that to deter after market additions.

We bought one of these i had no clue it went on ghe inside that is so odd we have a different pool and we didnt even go through the stress of returning this
@LifeLessOrdinary there's nothing there it just returns straight into the pool we bought ours off a friend and had to tear it down and put it back up which was a pain lol but yea there's a tote full of extras but I just checked and there's not a thing to unscrew like you have thanks so much for the response btw you made me watch this and your diy your great at this

They need to come up with a design where it does not extend so far into the pool but maybe curved back into the frame 🤔

It has a built-in timer. You can set it for anywhere from 2 to 24 hours. So far it’s been awesome

The fountain is not affected during backwash so yes I don’t touch it
Is there a way to not have the fountain run but still have the water circulate?
Just completely open the hole on the inside and the water will come out out that and not the fountain

That is an adapter. Most likely 3inch adapted to 1.5. Hardware store would have one. Mine also didn't come with one going to hardware store also

Yes, I honestly think they do. I’ve never tested the theory with a thermometer, but the pool does feel cooler when it’s running.

Maybe the Camera makes it sound loud. It’s just water coming out of the holes. There’s no extra pump or anything like that.
