In the book of revelation, an angel is sent to preach the gospel when people are forced to choose between following the antichrist or following Jesus Christ. An angel is sent to tell people not to take the mark of the beast. I believe this is the only time angels will ever preach is in the very last Times of this age on earth, during the great tribulation..

I thought roughly the same thing when Rick first said-rather adamantly-that angels are "repeaters." But I thought I'd listen to the end to see if he mentioned where Rev 14:6 says John saw "another *angel* fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel *to preach* unto them that dwell on the earth," _KJV_ And Rick did mention it briefly, (~14:14) saying that this "preaching" was more like "proclaiming" or "announcing." When I checked Bible Hub's parallel translations, comparing 32 different versions, many did use "proclaim," a few used "announce," and Weymouth said, "carrying the Good News." That phrasing emphasizes that the angel had the Gospel "to preach." The King James uses the infinitive form: *to* preach. Nit-picking a bit, but KJV never open-endingly said, "the angel preached." It said the angel "had _(having)_ the gospel to preach." [fun with verbs! ☺]
... When I went on to read verse 7, which says, _"And he said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come. Worship the One who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and the springs of waters,"_ the Holy Spirit dropped this thought into my mind: "See? Verse 7 is the script. He's preaching a canned sermon."
