One of the reasons I love this ending scene is because of the scene previous to it. When Natalie sees Josh's new profile, created with Natalie's suggestions, it gave her that moment of clarity of "Oh no, what did I do!? I just helped make Josh incredibly attractive as a partner!" He already was, the new profile made her realize what she had given up and what she was about to loose if she didn't do something. I like it in that she didn't just come to that realization on her own, yet that realization was still a consequence of her own actions.
I really liked this scene, it was a neat shout out to the famous scene from the original. I love how the movie is titled after Josh and Natalie's favourite Christmas movies, "Love Actually" and "Die Hard" respectively!

@@MbahMu9829 i agree they should leave this movie alone. Just let this be one of those classic movies you watch during christmas. I do hope though they do make another movie together.
I have seen this movie several times and can watch it again many times. The best scene of the movie and in any movie. The best feeling in life is to love someone truly, but the most difficult part is to let them go. But let them go and make them realize themselves the differences you have made in their life just by being in it. Some will never realize and may not come back, but you will be one of the luckiest ones if they come back, and that's the best thing that can happen who is in love
Makes me cry why can't love be like this more often in real life. Someone to make you a better person . And on the other hand someone that may not be perfect but perfect for you. And there such an amazing person that gets you and you just fit together like a puzzle piece. And th beginning before they even knew well before she did. They talked so much together . And found out about each other that's what's missing in today's world. To much drama and materialism shallowness, etc. Just learn about something and there deep surfaces. Then before you know it your in love with The fact that you connect click together . Can talk about anything for hours and fall asleep together on the phone. Knowing someone for who they are even if it's different love them for it as well a love them cause they love you with all there heart. Love hard
although I’m glad Josh & Natalie got a happy ever after in the end I lowkey think Natalie didn’t deserve Josh. I think Josh deserved someone who liked him for him and didn’t use him to try to get with someone else
She likes him for who he is. She apologized for taking so long to realize it. And, in my experience, the fact that she apologized is already a big deal. Also, he lied to her at the beginning, so he is partly at fault
does anyone else think this was an actually creepy thing? someone you don't know flew across the country to your family's home... no plans or anything, i think most would be more freaked out by the girl just showing up unannounced than the guy that was catfishing?
Although I liked the movie, I do find that Natalie just settled - 'I can't find the perfect personality or perfect looks so I'll just settle for personality'. Never settle - keep trying because you will find the perfect person for you.
But she even admitted that Josh isn't bad looking if he just uses flattering pictures. The catfishing made them get off on the wrong foot, which is what put her off. She assumed everything was a lie, and nothing she initially liked was genuine.
I think this movie glamorized catfishing. Even though it was actually Josh on the phone and him using the app, he used Tag’s pictures on that dating app so he wasn’t honest with what he actually looked like. But then Natalie still ends up with him in the end of the movie, even though she used Josh to try to impress Tag by pretending to be someone she wasn’t. Natalie only wanted Tag for his looks but once she got to know the real Josh she liked him for him. This movie wasn’t bad and better than I expected but they could’ve done a better approach to the plot without glamorizing catfishing.
@Daphne Krisp it doesn’t mean they weren’t paying attention. It just means they have different opinions on the movie and that’s okay. Both Josh & Natalie weren’t honest in the beginning about who they really were in different ways. Josh with using someone else’s photos on the app and Natalie pretending to be someone she wasn’t to try to impress Tag. Im glad that Josh & Natalie got a happy ever after but I lowkey think Josh deserved better than Natalie and found a woman who liked him for him and didn’t use him to to try to get with someone else.
Lol how is it that she never even FaceTimed him BEFORE going there? And his last name is LIN. Did that not set off any bells that maybe he wasn’t some cute white dude?
@@butterbeans666 Ehhh no. The guy, Tag, in real life is like 1/5th Japanese and he has more Caucasoid features than Lin. In other words, he looks a lot more white than Asian.
@@georgieman1910 It's not really anyone's place tho to make judgements of how others choose to identify lol. If he calls himself Asian or mixed Asian and identifies with that background, he has that right 🤷♀️
Something inside of me just snapped. As much as I like this film, the sad truth is that in reality love is nothing like this. Love simply doesn't exist. So don't get your hopes up of this false perception.
It may not exist quite like this, but I can tell you my experience of God is a love beyond myself. A love that is forgiving and new every morning. And anyone can have it, if they ask.

You will never find the one who suits you until you realize the expectation should be lower than reality. Ready to love the girl who is willing to you, not the identical ladies. Not because love is hard; it simply doesn't overthink love and puts more appreciation in the correct order.

Wow, I actually didn't realise the movie title was bamed after their favourite movies.....Thanks
Thanks for sharing this. Didn't know!
I DIDNT KNOW THAT OMG
Jimmy O Yang needs to be the main guy / love interest / in MORE movies! I love how he conveys deep complex emotions so subtly.
He's so real too, not fake or annoying like some actors are
This movie is the best! The producers should make a second one
And ruin the perfect ending?

Maybe make a prequel depicting how Harry Shum and Mikaela Hoover’s characters met…
It doesn’t need a sequel
I now look forward to this movie as my own little Christmas tradition
So do I. This is the best Christmas movie.
Me too , I just finished watching it for the first time this December. ❤ I never knew it was other's tradition as well ✨

Now this is what i call an actually good Christmas movie! 🥰 it was so cute! I ship them
Best love scene in any movie , the song was beautiful ❤️
This is my fav Christmas movie
A woman apologizing to a man at the climax of a movie is honestly so refreshing.
It puts the movie in the fantasy category though 😂
I agree! I really liked how they reversed to instead of the guy going back for the girl the girl goes back for the guy it’s very sweet!
