Thanks for the video! Just bought a used Yamaha V Star and I didn't like the loud aftermarket exhaust they had on her. Installed a used oem exhaust and needed to update the fuel map. Thanks to you, updating the map was a 5 minute job.
For tune the power commander your self fist you need to study fuel, engine timing and a lot of more stuff. after that you need a dyno to test your bike and from those results and knowledge from study you can tune it. Not easy for a video.
Hi Dynojet, Good morning here from the Philippines, Just want to ask if buying and installing Dynojet Power Commander 6 does eliminate backfire on my installed Akrapovic Full System Exhaust for Yamaha MT07 2022 Model? Your response is highly appreciated Thank you very much
Is there a way to see how much fuel % the map I downloaded from Dyno jet website is dumping to the quad ? I want to be sure is getting enough fuel , All 0s doesn’t help
Friend, I bought a Power Commander V for my R3 2021, but it doesn't come with an oxygen optimizer. I've seen videos where they put it, but mine doesn't come with it. Is the optimizer necessary or can I leave the original cable with the oxygen sensor in the pipe? exhaust?
I have a 22mt09 but the throttle feels very slow when released and getting back onto the power. Like it’s just barely delayed. I want some better throttle response.
@@bobdo6825 yup, the 6 is not workable in my state of commiefornia. Returned it and got the 5 which is virtually the same thing and everything worked. I can now take it in and get it mapped completely for my setup.
Thanks, clear and simple! Btw, my slip-on exhaust (Homologated Mivv Suono on a 2013 Yamaha Fazer 8) does not have a specific map on the site. Everything on the rest of the bike is original, is it correct to use the "slip-on exhaust stock instake" to the power commander or am I missing some features?
I have a 2021 Kawasaki zx10r with a full graves exhaust. Would this benefit my bike. It seems to run fine as is. Do you have a folder for full exhaust?
Seeking communitys assistance! I recently bought a PC6 (Power Commander 6) for my 2023 grom with Zoom Brute exhaust, and a Dingerbuilt intake, but the website offers no basemap for any aftermarket engine products. Can you provide a basemap for my intake/exhaust? Am I suppose to use the stock airbox/exhaust and edit that tune? Thanks in advance.
General question about power commanders. I'm too broke to take my bike to a proper dyno, and it's a pretty mid bike anyway (08 bandit 650 w/ slipon). It's a bit herky jerky at low speed, sometimes sounds like its starved for fuel and esp when it gets up to running temp, it HATES low speed stuff. Rip around at highway speed for a bit and get into a town, first traffic light if I go down to 1st, it'll idle really low and lope. I keep thinking it's running very lean at these areas, and even when you blip the throttle, the response is not good. Whack the throttle in 1st and you'd expect a 650 to give you enough torque to wheelie but it just hesitates. I haven't a clue if the PC6 will fix that. Guess I'll buy it and bring a laptop with me so I can adjust on a ride?
Guys.. What you did with the PC6 software really feels like a scam. There is much more variety for PC5 maps, they're not compatible with PC6 and you don't allow access to the Base Maps in C3 Tuner Software to try to emulate similar maps on the new device. I don't understand the decision, no one I've talked to has a positive view from this change you made. You're a reputable brand but going against your own clients is not the way to go. Hope you fix that soon.
Hi, I recently purchased part number PC6-17088 which matches my Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX / 2021. I downloaded the Power Core application / C3 tuning software and connected my Power Commander 6 to it. In the upper left corner, there is a file name Power commander 6.dsln and when I click on the notes (lower window) in the right window it's written 2020-2021 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX slip-on exhaust and stock air filter. Does this mean that I have already downloaded a map with Power Commander, so does this mean that I do not need to take any additional steps other than installing it on my motorcycle. Thank you in advance for your help and support
