Great video, I love this for making custom titles for my scrapbook pages. I’ve done this in the past, but not to the extent you have explained. It’s opened my thoughts about what can be done within circuit! Thanks heaps for sharing this. Scrappy hugs. X
Thank you for showing exactly how you did this. I just bought a Cricut Joy and I’ve seen other videos but they go through the process so fast I couldn’t figure out how they did the contour. Now I know! Thanks!
I just loved this video. So informative. I started watching your videos through Erin’s crafty concepts with following the sketch book. I will def subscribe and follow your videos Thank you
Hi Linda! I hope you are enjoying your Cricut! I made this video several years ago and have learned a few things since then! The images will print in whatever color you have selected, as long as you have a color printer of course 😉 I would not print and cut each individual word, but rather, flatten them, then attach it to the outline piece, select both images and flatten, then send that to your printer and then take the printed image and cut on the Cricut... I hope that makes sense!
Excellent video! Only one question: When you group the words the way you want, do they have to overlap/touch to some out as one? Or is that what the "attach" function does? TIA.
When I overlap the words and I want them touching, to eliminate that "seam" I use the weld feature, then the words are attached but with no breaks in between. Does that make sense?
My best score in Wordle was 2/6. I was shocked! Lol So the title is printed first then cut? That’s when you hit print and send it to your printer and then you put it on the mat and cut??
So many great tips for custom titles. Thank you for walking us through the process, I love how it looks on your layout.
Thanks Erin! I'm hooked on doing titles like this now! So much 😊

Great video. I’ve never used contour, I usually use a shape and slice. Thanks for sharing that!
I haven’t tried the slice feature yet, I’ll have to give it a try!
thank you, thank you, thank you! This was a great tutorial. Saving it forever.
Glad it helped! Once I figured it out, it's so fun to create the titles!

Thank you absolutely loved this tutorial although Im still having trouble making the title ☹️
It does take practice, is there something I can help you with?
I just bought a Cricut. Your instructions are wonderful, but then how do I actually print the separate words that are different colors?

Think I've done that maybe once! 😂
Sherrie, that is correct, send it to your printer from Design Space, then put it on the mat to be cut.
Which Cricut do you use?
I have a Cricut Maker
I prefer my iPad
In this video I did use my iPad 😀 I do like how my Cricut has a place to hold the iPad, definitely a perk!
Thank you!
You're welcome! I hope it helps!
