I buy 1/4 maples and eagles when I can find a decent premium. I buy once a month. If when I look I can’t get modern bullion, I go right to sovereigns and roosters. You can’t beat the price.
Indeed. I’m a silver stacker and will continue to do so, but since last year I’ve been buying 1/4 oz gold ( no higher than 10% premium) and have been continuing this year
That’s a sound analysis - as a silver stacker starting in 2020 I’ve been thinking I need some gold to be a little more portable, so watching this carefully. Suggestion: your pricing website needs an email newsletter - I’d probably pay a few bucks a year to have updated prices from around the web in my inbox every morning. Great vid - keep ‘em coming!
Need to factor in salability. To me, it is worth paying more for ease of sales later. I'm not planning on selling anytime soon but it has to be allotted for. Also IMO, gold is destined to rise so whether I pay 3% or 18% premium on my gold, I am sure I will get it back. I have no problem with fractional gold, I buy that as well as full oz when I can. Silver bullion coinage typically has even higher premiums than fractional gold coins do btw.
I'm a gold over silver stacker but never coins I buy bars 24k 999.9 10g and 20g are a great value...grams add up looking to buy my first 50g bar or a few 5gs...more stackers should consider bars over coins
I greatly appreciate your take and break down on this type of often overlooked fractional gold. I have to ask, what is your take on Sovereigns? At .2354, they’re a little bit more than the .1867 but can be found for $500 plus or minus, which is significantly less than the 1/4oz cousins.

I will continue to stack 1/4 ounce eagles and Maple 🍁 s . I’m older now l have to make liquidity a priority.
Very good, obvious point that gets psyched out even for experienced stackers. Gold is gold? Hmmm? 🧐😎
Love the roster coin master m inthe market as of now for one. Great pick up.
