STORYLINE:
Palestinians say the hunger situation in northern Gaza has become increasingly dire as fighting between Israel and Hamas shows no signs of abating nine months into the devastating war.
Many warned that hunger is spreading in the area as war-weary people are unable to buy canned food from the markets - if it’s available.
“The situation is tragic in every sense of the word. The famine has returned now,” said Tayseir al-Najjar, a displaced Palestinian whose 16-year-old daughter was killed in the war.
The man, who has been displaced multiple times since the war began, spoke as he was searching for food for his family in an open market in the northern refugee camp of Jabaliya.
“It’s the same scenario. We are searching at the (open) market. As you see, it’s not a market,” he said, adding that most of the goods available at the market were spices and canned food. “The prices are soaring, and beyond the people’s reach,” he said.
Walid Hegazi, a Jabaliya resident whose house was damaged in the war, said that canned food is not sufficient, and that they are not even able to purchase food for lack of funds.
“There is no money, I am a worker. I don’t work. There is no income,” he said, urging the international community to provide humanitarian aid to the strip’s population.
“Cardiac patients have died. Kidney failure, and cancer patients have died. Old people have died. Youths are not able to walk,” he said.

It’s so shameful on the world that these poor innocent children and women think that we don’t care about them every day people care about them are heartbreaks for them. Our heart aches for what they’re going through. It’s just a politicians that is so sad that nothing can be done we pray for you. We are so sorry that you’re going through this.

In this case, it isn't caused by other people. They cause it themselves. Nothing has changed since 1948. You saw the Jews celebrating the 2 state solution even though very disappointed with the borders. They danced in the street when it was announced saying wow after thousands of years of yearning for our homeland that we were exiled from we finally can decolonise it and have a state of our own. No other nation has ever been exiled and returned to their land like this before a true miracle. And what do you see from the other side, well you saw 5 armies simultaneously attacked the newly formed israel to try an annihilate it.
We have seen this constantly since 1948. Continually attack israel and then cry at the response.
I was in israel in 2001 year of the intifada. They didn't that Sharon went up on temple mount number 1 holiest site for Jews. So they declared intifada and started suicide bombs. 95% of attempts israel stopped but still about once a week you had suicide bombs in a mall, in a bus, in a restaurant, outside a frozen yoghurt shop. Often you had a second bomb timed to get the emergency services come to help people.
You had plenty of offers for a 2 state solution but palestinians dint want that. They can't let the negotiations go on long enough before they start killing Jews again. Even had arafat offered 86% of the land that arafat asked for and still hot a NO as a reply from arafat. They don't want, only want no Israel. Didnthey even call forntheur own state from egyot when egypt had gaza or from jerusalem or judea amd samaria when joedan have it? No because it isn't about their own state just destroying the Jewish state.
And look at gaza. Israel left gaza, uprooted all its jewish citizens and even dug up Jewish bodies to move the cemetery they were so serious and handed over the keys. Was no blockade or anything of gaza. Gazans voted hamas who instantly killed every PA member they could find and 6 months later had rockets fired at israel. Hamas were frustrated that they had been breaking the ceasefire many times and firing rockets and israel could mainly stop that with iron dome and fight back without having any israeli soldiers enter gaza for hamas to have a chance to kill. So they did oct 7 and even broadcast it to the world and took hostages to force israeli soldiers to have to enter gaza.
You are so sad for gazan civilians but we see their own polls in gaza show they still support hamas and the attack on oct 7 today. We see textbooks taught to little gazan children teaching to kill Jews. We see gazans invade israel on oct 7 with hamas. We see them celebrate with the dead bodies of a naked hostage. We see gazans cover up for hamas, we see gazan civilians holding hostages in their homes. We see gazans making their own pallywood to try make israel look bad.
And after all that you are blaming 'other human beings'? What are you blaming others for? For being determined to not have hanas rule gaza anymore after hamas told the world they will do oct 7 again and again? Sonweird that israel os not ok with continued attacks on israel. Are you blaming israel for civilian deaths when the terrorist to civilian ratio is better than any other army has ever achieved while we see from hamas they shot gazans who left their homes to move as israel ordered, hamas shot gazans who tried to take food from the aud meant for gazan civilians. Hamas's strategy is specifically to get gazan civilians killed to then make israel look bad. And gazan civilians still support hamas today.
Something very wrong with you to blame 'other human beings'. It is not other humans. It is the palestinians themselves who are to blame for their situation. They wanted that and chose that. The only ones who have ever oppressed them is themselves. The only one keeping them in the same situation without improvement is themselves.

Palestinians can have peace whenever they want. They have only to not attack israel and israelis at all. Then there will be no response from israel and they will have peace.
