No, Leket is a well known organization in Israel that has arrangements with farms and other large food distributors to take the food that they would throw away, as it is not marketable for one reason or another, but it perfectly good to eat and give it to poor people.
My suggestion to you is not to be sure of anything that you do not know and cannot verify. If it's something negative, all the more so.
