Love ALL you and Chris do! You have enough experience to do this! And, not only experience, you are gifted! And, y’all are SO blessed to be able to get all these done at the same time! My favorite is the cake stand! You always have the dream of what yo do! You and Chris are so talented and give great tutorials to teach others like me!
I really appreciate the fact that you teach everyone all of these “tricks” on how to repair/refurbish certain items... *7:44 Like using a coat of shellac on the MDF first... Because, if it didn’t come out right for me, I would have assumed it was me painting wrong or something like that. I recently used your technique of painting a rather large (36” X 48”) Baroque Style Frame. Flat Black, Clear Polyurethane and then a White Chalk Paint and finishing with a Wax to seal it the Chalk Paint. It came out so beautiful! It was a tarnished Gold color and l was going to toss it in the bin. Thank goodness for you and your Channel, Thank you Yvonne! ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This was my first time watching your video. My parents were antique dealers and I always watched my mom redo furniture especially oak. Alot of work involved. You're amazing and I'm so amazed with your work and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. I'm a fan now
My favorite is the round floral with the bee. I was glad to see that you left some of the natural wood shine through. Just gorgeous! I hope your buyers snap up these pieces. I know I sure would. Thanks!!
Love the bird cage!! So simple, but such an impact. I also love the rust method you used-so realistic. Your creativity making over items always amazes and inspires me. 👏👏❤❤👏👏❤❤
You're work ethic is very evident in the quality of your product. I loved it all but really loved the doily stencil work. Also, I have a cousin named Yvonne, pronounced the same way. Love it!
Your work never ceases to amaze me. The best part is none of them look exactly alike, because of your keen vision for each piece. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent.
Truth... about a year ago in Central Florida I bought a white wicker desk with the chair at a goodwill in the Winter Park area. Sat in Garage for another six months. And the other day as I as figuring what and where I it would go, I noticed an envelope, stuck upside down in the bottom drawer. It was the same color as the bottom of the drawer and easily missed. And when I took the envelope out, inside was a certificate from 1995 from a lady in the area that had passed her breast feeding certification course for the birth of her child. Too cool. So I hesitated on whether I should try to find this person and just knock on her door and say 'hi how's the little one?' . Since 1995. And on the certificate was her full name and her address and the date. Hmmm. But being weird and not a stalker, I said to myself, 'hell, what's the worst that can happen?" I'm going to try to find her - I think I'm going to try to do this. And a few weeks ago I found the lady. And she just laughed and as totally shocked. But thought it was wonderful. And how sweet it was for me to bring back such great memories. We didn't hug because we weren't supposed to. But we jumped around and laughed. That was just as good. So you never know what kind of joy is going to come from some of these finds . But that was one of my better ones. I must admit.
Love that you’re actually upcycling and not just repainting things that were fine to begin with. Maybe too much time spent on removing labels, but the end results were worth it!
OMG so beautiful and inspiring I will have you know u now own not one but 2oooo lazy Susan's and you were right each just cost a couple of dollars but worth way more in just the ease so much more faster too THANK YOU 🤗👏
I love this kind of thrifting. I like to buy wood and wood-like things to "fix up". I learned a lot from this video that I'm going to use in my next projects. I have some things stocked up that would be great to use.
Your adventurous attitude is so inspiring. "I'll just try this. I can always paint over it." It's kind of a life lesson. I'll try my best. If it doesn't work out, I'll know how to do better next time. Yes, you and Chris do inspire us. See you next video!
You are such a good teacher and so I hope this tip might work for you. Try spray painting the doily as a stencil. I used to do it that way on throw pillows. Maybe try it on some paper first. Good luck 🤗
Hey Yvonne....I just painted a wooden circle for my front door. Your tip of using the blow dryer to remove the tape is nothing short of genius! You provide more useful tips than anyone! Thanks again!
I love how you did a bunch of similar items at one time. Personally, I liked almost all of the items BEFORE the extras were added... except for the doily stencil (which was fabulous) and the black tray with the scrapbook paper (loved that). It's nice to watch you just try stuff like we do at home, and use whatever you have on hand. I'll definitely be looking up more of your videos! 🤍
I absolutely love everything but the lace trays are my favorite. They are beautiful, well everything was. You have my mind running in a thousand different directions now. Thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas. God bless
Yvonne.... Yvonne... this grouping was SENSATIONAL ! You never fail to amaze me with your work !!!! Those Doilies as stencils ...WOW!!!!!! WOW!!! Target Dollar Spot Easter trays....... WOW! Then the box trays... the letter one and the AMAZING LITTLE ONE with the textured scrapbooking paper.... I AM IN AWE WITH THESE !!!! Love how you found the personal note on the lazy Suzan.... hope someone finds it again someday ! I did that with a picture for my Pastor... maybe when I’m dead and gone and HE IS OLD.. he may find it 🤷♀️ This is in my top 5 videos for AMAZING TURNOUTS ! I’m still saying WOW!!! LOL!!!! Excellent dear lady...excellent !!! ❤️❤️🌸❤️❤️
I have learned so much from you and Chris. My husband thinks I should do this for profit. I prefer to just do it as a hobby and for gifts. These kinds of projects are really transforming my house.
I always love your work. You are so creative and change up the designs for each piece. I also love that when you make your work it’s always if you don’t like it you can always redo the piece. I think my favorites are the round risers with the doily stencils. As always thank you for your wonderful videos and lessons, I really love and appreciate them.
I was actually able to convince my husband that I had to add to my stash to make my crafting as cost effective as possible! I mean, it’s true…as long as you can find your stuff amid your hoarding pile! 😂
The lazy susan with the white flowers and the little bee, was my favorite. One time when you use the bee stamp paint in a dashed line like it's the bee's flight path- just for grins and giggles. Your creations are beautiful.
I can never pick a favorite, but I love love that gigantic tray beautiful work as always, and I always appreciate the tips and tricks to give along the way
I’ve seen your crafts before, but this is my first time watching one of your thrift to sell videos. I loved seeing the process and hearing your thoughts and descriptions of how you accomplished the final looks. Great job!
LOVE that rustic (corkscrew) piece! Even more with the double "farmhouse" word. You made so many absolutely beautiful things today. So I checked ... I am 4+ hours from you. Sounds like a road trip. And then to see that there are other antique malls there in that little bitty town! Wow!
I probably would not have bought that red cake stand, but you made it look amazing. I have never done grain sack stripes but I am looking so forward to giving it a try. I am so looking forward to finding trays and lazy Susan’s. Cuteness and I love so much how perfectly imperfect you are 😂. I am also going to be adding to my stamp collection. Thanks
Oh yes... I had forgotten about the tray with the cursive writing... Love it! Enjoyed seeing the placement. You are an artist and a gentle woman With amazing hair (I had to throw that in there😊)! Have a wonderful day. Keep on keepin on!
My favorite??? How can I pick a favorite when they are all so great?? Love the one you painted and then stained. Love the ones stenciled with the doileys. Love the little tray you did with craft paper. Your stenciled flowers turned out great, even the ones you "messed up". I liked that your mistake gave you a variety of flowers on the piece. Wonderful pieces.
Don’t know if you’ll see this comment as it’s a year old but I just had to share a comment anyway. Have to say what a fabulous job n ideas you did on these trays n lazy susans but all time favorite was the tray with the stamp letter with the grain sack stripe. I just can’t enough of watching your videos. I keep learning more n more of the trucks n great ideas. Hoping each one of your items sell in your booth. ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍
I really enjoyed these makeovers and thank you for showing your selling prices - really reasonable prices- it gives me an idea of how to price things. I am a newbie!
Using safe release tape would be better than the regular tape. Also denatured alcohol work to take off sticky messes or paint where it shouldn't be. Like your video and you gave me some inspiration for things to paint beside bigger pieces.
I like the striped lazy susans most. But they are tied with the red made over cake stand. That looks great, but knowing what it looked like before makes me love it even more.
Warm colors are back in for 2022, I don't think they ever went out, I use whatever I want or is my taste regardless of trend, but people are trading out grays for tans, browns, and rust colors, and natural woods, but of course each area has their own style, love the content!
I WANT THE WAVY WHITE TRAY WITH BLACK HANDLES!!!
Oh my goodness! IT IS GORGEOUS!!
I like the flowers and that the 2 are different, perfect!
Thank you! 😊
Great job of up cycling Yvonne....always a enjoy your creativity!
Hello Margaret

Love it all. Glad you show your mistakes and how to fix them. The doily stencil looks amazing ❤️❤️❤️

I love that you left the gift message on the bottom of the lazy Susan. Strong work 💕

The round trays with the doily design are so glamorous. Like the way the stamped FARMHOUSE looked with the white shadow around the black.
I think the mineral colored riser was my fav but also the 2 lazy Susan’s with the grain stripes. Everything was fantastic!!
The two handled tray turned out so nice compared to the way you found it amazing!!
Love the large tray, and the Susan with the flowers.
All turned out great! Love the lazy susan with white flowers, and the little bee of course.
Omgoodness love each piece... I think my favorite is the big wood lazy susan with the white flowers. Great transformations!!!!
Every one of these is gorgeous Yvonne. Thank you for sharing. I hope you guys have a lovely week. Sending hugs your way. 💕

My favorite was the last one with the flowers. TFS
I loved the way the doilies worked out, great idea!!!
It is so hard to choose a favorite. I live what you did with the doilies. And the letter tray and cake plate. Once again great make overs.
You are such a good teacher and so I hope this tip might work for you. Try spray painting the doily as a stencil. I used to do it that way on throw pillows. Maybe try it on some paper first. Good luck 🤗
Love them all. I'll be watching out for those while shopping. Thanks
Hey Yvonne....I just painted a wooden circle for my front door. Your tip of using the blow dryer to remove the tape is nothing short of genius! You provide more useful tips than anyone! Thanks again!

You do such a great job on your pices as well as describing the process. Thank you!

Your so clever! Thankyou for sharing your knowledge of paint and waxes! It totally makes a huge difference on the finishing touch💕
They are all beautiful
Big white tray with the black metal handles was my absolute favorite.
The stool was probably my favorite. The stamping looks beautiful because it gave it a old worren look!! Love it all
I have learned so much from you and Chris. My husband thinks I should do this for profit. I prefer to just do it as a hobby and for gifts. These kinds of projects are really transforming my house.
Oh.. that’s how we started 💕
I always love your work. You are so creative and change up the designs for each piece. I also love that when you make your work it’s always if you don’t like it you can always redo the piece. “ Your Hoard”. That truly is what they are but for the benefit of my husband, it’s a Stash!.
Love that
I was actually able to convince my husband that I had to add to my stash to make my crafting as cost effective as possible! I mean, it’s true…as long as you can find your stuff amid your hoarding pile! 😂
Love watching you. Such great ideas!
I like that she cover so much detail. Did inspire me to try some of these ideas.
The lazy susan with the white flowers and the little bee, was my favorite. One time when you use the bee stamp paint in a dashed line like it's the bee's flight path- just for grins and giggles. Your creations are beautiful.

I love your work. I learn something new everytime. Thank you for inspiring me.
I like the cafe and the big white tray with black handles and also the white tray with all the letters and black stripes
The change up for those Easter trays was amazing. This video helped me to now look at thrift store stuff differently TY.
LOVE that rustic (corkscrew) piece! Even more with the double "farmhouse" word. You made so many absolutely beautiful things today. So I checked ... I am 4+ hours from you. Sounds like a road trip. And then to see that there are other antique malls there in that little bitty town! Wow!

The amount of labor was amazing! As always, your attention to detail never waives.
No way to choose just one favorite. These all turned out in true Ginger Chic style and beautifully and thoughtfully done. Always inspiring. xx

I like the striped lazy susans most. But they are tied with the red made over cake stand. That looks great, but knowing what it looked like before makes me love it even more.
So cute. I am always in awe of your work.
Hello dear
How are you?
Every item turned out so lovely!
I'm wowed by each one of them. Just beautiful 🤩.
Loved them all. I would like to thrift a lazy Susan and paint. It with ocean or shells,
The doily ones are breath taking!!! Love the flowers on the wooden round too. Very striking combo. You two have such good visions.....
Warm colors are back in for 2022, I don't think they ever went out, I use whatever I want or is my taste regardless of trend, but people are trading out grays for tans, browns, and rust colors, and natural woods, but of course each area has their own style, love the content!
