I learned SO much from this one video. Wow. 1. Spray shellac to seal the wood tannins 2. line up the bottom of the IOD letters (not the stamp itself) on the lines of the acetate 3. Allowing milk paint to sit before using 4. Packing tape hack for stamps that won't stick 5. Milk paint can be used over metal
I am at the age I have lived through this color and didn’t really like it when it came around the first time. Obviously I still am not fond of it. I would like to know if it is selling well for everybody else, please.
I was in your shop yesterday. Picked up a butter pat, some primitive candles. Just on our way home from Diamondale. I try to stop by each time we travel to see family.
Loving the green paints you used today. The mirror and the two boxes are beautiful with the crackle! The wreath is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your inspiration! 🤗
I can’t believe you were going to get rid of the mirror! It was a simple project and it’s beautiful! I love the way the wax just transform the colors! The boxes also came out gorgeous! You did a great update on them especially painting the hardware! I saw Jami Ray paint her son’s bedroom door windows and it looks fantastic!
I had a mirror with a beautiful frame that, over time, started getting black on the mirror area. So it turned it into a chalkboard. Still use it to this day.
I have piano music from my childhood in the 60’s and made this wreath the first time you showed us. It’s as easy as you make it look and I love my wreath. Every time I look at it I think of my many lessons and recitals. Thanks for making the instructions easy enough for me to follow.❤
Hello, I Love the mirror best, that color is wonderful. I would Love to paint a kitchen in that color with creamy colored cabinets. Love your videos. Hope your health is coming along great. Take care
I made a music sheet wreath because of you! It’s my absolute favorite wreath! Yes it took a while but sooo worth it! Just put some headphones on and watch a movie or listen to some music and it’s done in no time. You’re an absolute inspiration and a great teacher! Appreciate all you do and share with us! I’ve been hanging on to this old window from the 1800’s and 2 old old large picture frames from the same time era. I just keep watching and waiting…. I know something you do will be just right for them. I’m kicking around the antique mirror idea so I may have to back track to some of your old videos for some inspiration 😉 Thank you for sharing today! Loved everything!
I really love all that you do! Beautifully done projects! I really love your wall of terracotta pots! I’ve suggested this before, I would love to have that wall in a decoupage paper! Especially after seeing it in the mirror! ❤️❤️❤️
I watched another video of yours recently where that wreath was in the background, and I commented on it at that time. So, THANK YOU for sharing how you made it. I think it's so pretty!
I love the mirror and it looked so cool with the terra cotta pots reflecting in it. Yes the wreath is time consuming BUT well worth it. I have made 4 and I love them. Thanks for the idea of painting the back of window. I just happen to have an old window in my stash. TFS Yvonne
I LOVE the crackling and chippiness! The green is so very pretty 🎉 The breadbox and recipe box look great in my fave green!❤ And one of my favorites…a wreath on a window! Just beautiful!😊 Thanks for sharing!❤
I made the music page wreaths before. Also, used tea stained coffee filters and dyed white coffee filters. They are beautiful! I love making them. Love those storage containers. All your projects are wonderful. Thanks! 😊
The mirror , I love it!! the two boxes , great vision for them both,,,,now that wreath, i have seen you make them before , they are beautiful, but i would not have your patience at all, maybe sometime. You did great on all of them!
I don’t like green anything, but it is because I had an avocado kitchen for years and years. I love the boxes. Most of your videos make me say she was right to change that. Thanks for sharing.
Yvonne, I believe I could watch you make a thousand of those wreaths and I would still love it! Love the old mirror, too. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I was experiencing a reluctance to the recipe box not saying recipes when later cleaning at my elderly mother's house full of treasures... that "supplies" was brilliant! So much more useful.
My breadbox is just like that one built that way my dad built it for me and my little brother routed the word bread on it and you are right it was made in the eighties! Very special I just redone it last week lol The paper wreaths you make are gorgeous ❤
Yvonne, I love your personality and tutorial style. You explain as you work and don't rush through like soe crafters who speed up the camera and I do not like that. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us. Blessings😛
I enjoyed all the projects and love the green shades of milk paint. Perhaps on one of your future videos you could explain the proper way to put on the picture hanging wire. I learned many years ago but there may be some people who aren’t aware, especially with heavier items like mirrors. Thanks for your great ideas, Yvonne! And how magnificent is your storage piece with all the cubbies and terracotta pots!!
Thanks for another fabulous video with lots of inspiration. I have made a few of the hymnal wreaths with several more ordered. I don't know if you remember me, but I sent you a few of my grandpa's old hymnals from their old church, and this is what you made from them. I am so grateful to you for sharing with me the process to make them. ❤
Yvonne, I love your projects! PS I use double stick on my cling platforms to keep the cling stamps from falling off!! Hope that helps!! Surprisingly it can be used over & over before you need to replace the tape!! (don't accidentally put the sticky side down on decoupage paper!! What a mess!!!)
It’s been awhile since I’ve watched your channel. It’s nice to see you didn’t give up on Milk Paint. I actually noticed a few new products & supplies I hadn’t seen you use in the past. Then to see you use color! That green color on the wood bread box reminds me of the vintage avocado green. I didn’t notice it as much on the mirror for some reason. Oh my goodness it’s gorgeous! Thank you so much for including detailed information on how you attach hanging systems to your old windows. I have asked that question to so many people on so many platforms and have never received thorough information. If I have gotten a response it has been common sense like making sure I attach them to a stud. I have collected an abundance of old windows. Some to sell and some I would never part with. I have old plaster walls in my home which personally makes me a bit more nervous. The thought of one of the unusual and beautiful windows I have collected crashing to the floor and breaking has really bothered me. I especially wouldn’t want that for any of my customers. Now I can begin all of my window projects and clear some much needed space with confidence. I took a long break from UA-cam. Now I’m catching up with some of my favorite creators. I’m looking forward to going back and watching more of your content that I have missed. It’s so hard to step out of our comfort zone sometimes. I loved everything you and Chris created before but this proves no matter what you use or make over you do it all so well. Thank you for sharing. 💚
Hi! Gorgeous mirror makeover. They are my favorite thing to upcycle and resell. What I love doing: Adding IOD moulds to the frame. I get stunning results.
Was so excited to see the wreath DIY. I actually saved one of your other videos where you put this together. I have a bunch of salvaged hymnals that I found in a box when our church bought a new building, so they were perfect for this! So I started the wreath today😅
Yvonne, loved the green on all the pieces but especially the mirror. And the picture frame and wreath are a stunning combination. Wish I lived closer to your shop.
Great green ! Reminds me of the 1960's antiquing kits we would get !
I have my grandmothers dresser that was done that way…
I learned SO much from this one video. Wow. 1. Spray shellac to seal the wood tannins 2. line up the bottom of the IOD letters (not the stamp itself) on the lines of the acetate 3. Yvonne you have such a talent for making “old” items beautifully remade and new again. Love your creativity!
I was in your shop yesterday. Picked up a butter pat, some primitive candles. Just on our way home from Diamondale. I try to stop by each time we travel to see family.

The wreath is super cool, but I have not been blessed with that kind of patience. Lol.
The mirror was my favorite. Love that green. I need to try milk paint, it adds such a great patina.
It does
I don’t like green anything, but it is because I had an avocado kitchen for years and years. I love the boxes. Most of your videos make me say she was right to change that. Thanks for sharing.

Oh that paper wreath is to die for!!! I love it!
The wreath is beautiful on that frame! I wonder what the same technique would look like on a Styrofoam cone would make a great tree. 🤔 ❤😊❤
The wreath, with just the first row of paper, reminds me of a sunflower!
This was such a fun video. I hope to try that wreath if I can ever find some sheet music ,lol. The instructions were awesome.❤
