Just completed the break-in period and so far the unit is operating perfectly ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y . I was amazed by just how quiet this little guy is. I kept having to walk down the driveway to the generator to make sure it was still running. In fact, the most annoying noise coming from the set-up is a high-pitched chirping coming from the pressure regulator on the propane line. I suppose it's possible my other propane-powered generator's pressure regulator is making the same noise, but the generator itself is so loud I've never noticed it. Build quality so far is excellent. My only nit is the service panel is a little tricky to remove. I feel like I might break off one of the plastic tabs when bending it back. I probably just need to work out the technique, so will not hold it against Champion.Next week I intend to fully load the unit to charge a large battery pack and will update this review if there's any problem (3000W continuous load vs a rated 3100W capacity while using propane). Absent any trouble there, I'm 100% pleased with this purchase.
I've owned 2 Champion dual fuel gens. I recommend them. One is 8 years old and I had to call customer service yesterday for a replacement part. There were very helpful--it's already shipped!
I bought this generator a few years ago but never needed it until now, I have been running it all night and all day until the afternoon around 19 hours a day the last couple of days since our power went out for Hurricane Beryl in Southeast Houston. Still out of power right now. The generator has been running a 8000 btu window unit, refrigerator and several lights, a 65” led tv, ceiling fan, and garage door, water cooler and a few other things. Plugged into my 50 Amp house outlet with interlock. And it is so much quieter than my westinghouse 9500, which i use for a few hours in the evening just to run my pool pump since the champion can’t run it. Then i change over to this inverter around 9pm and run it all night again until the afternoon. So much quieter than a regular generator and great on gas. So far I love this generator and your videos.
Gavin, thanks for all your great videos, I watched most of them over the past 2 months. I finally decided on this generator sold at Cabela's. On propane, I ran both my RV AC units (15k/13.5k w/ soft starts) I am very happy with my purchase and a sincere thank you to you for posting all your reviews...
One of the best demonstrations of this product I’ve ever seen!! Though many are good and I learn something from everyone. Gavin has it all together and gives this inverter generator to the full test plus I’ve never seen the added surge protector he brilliantly hooked up. Not one other person did that but him. Thanks Gavin!!!
Gavin, thank you for this review. After watching this, I purchased this exact unit from Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine, TX. This product works great and is super easy to operate. I really like the full-size maintenance panel on the backside of the unit. You turn 2 90° speed nuts, and the panel lifts out, no screwdriver necessary. I have been running mine on propane only up to now, but I will eventually get some gasoline into the mix as well. Thanks again, you're a difference maker with what you do!!!
My champion 5500 was delivered today. In about 20 minutes I had it running and starting the 5-Hour break-in. This is one very nice generator. It will be perfect for what I needed to do
I would like to see you run more generators off propane. I see a lot of review comments of people have troubles getting generators started on propane. Especially when they're small and only have a pull start. I like the choice of using the dual fuel.
I have a 4,500 watt version of the champion dual fuel generator, and so far I've ONLY run it on propane, I'm going to avoid using gas in it for as long as possible. I've had no problems whatsoever starting it, although I know in extremely cold weather propane will become very difficult to start.
This particular generators start procedure is super easy. Hook up the propane tank and open the valve. Turn the generator dial to the propane choke setting. Push the start button and listen for the engine trying to ignite. (this takes about 2 seconds). Turn the dial to propane start. Push the starter button, and the unit fires up immediately. Just that simple, and it happens every time!
Once again great review. You test these generators under medium and heavy loads, that's the way it should be done. I really like the Champion. Looks great and sounds very quiet for the wattage. Thank you.
Would be nice to run it compared to igen4500 I have that now and I'm looking for just a little more power so I'm interested in that champion so that would be helpful thanks for your time you invest in these reviews very helpful
Excellent video. Appreciate the load tests. Quick comment on the 2xAC + Microwave: realistically a microwave gets used for 5 minutes or less. So it's really not a big deal to turn one or even both ACs off for a few minutes.
Hi Gavin, great video. i just discovered your channel a few days ago and have been watching several videos. Great job and thanks for posting these reviews. I just subbed to your channel too.
Purchase follow-up: You won't be disappointed with this in-gen at all. I ran it off LP for 2.5 hours with a loads fluctuating from 850W to 3430W in eco mode. Zero issues! I was making phone calls sitting right next to it without the people on the other in complaining (take it for what it's worth). Another noise level point, my Ego lawnmower was louder... I will be picking up another around the holidays.
Gaven, you did a fantastic job on this review. I just purchased this inverter as well. It is a little larger than I expected, but for the power, it’s worth it. I also have the Duromax 12000EX and a Honda eu2200i. My wife thinks I need too see someone about generator envy 😂
Yep! Let me know when you find someone send me a referral🤣🤣 It’s a little larger than I expected as well but I like the square look classic awesome generator.
Great review man. I have a couple champion generators now but it looks like I’ll be getting this one too to upgrade the 4250watt I have on my rv now. Thanks for the demonstration.
Food for thought the Honda EU 7000i will run 7200 watts while maintaining proper voltage without an overload light as proven by your 240 volt heater video when it is only rated at a spike load of 7000 watts, that speaks to a quality build and why the prices are so high on them.
I just bought a 37ft couger on trailer hitch, towing, it said i need at least 50 amp for it to have everything running, im really liking the champion generator, but im not to familiar with watts, amps, or voltage, u have any champion suggestions that i can research, i want to be able to run the camper with no problem using the nessesities but dont want to overload, or not have enough power, any suggestions?

I just tested it yesterday on my RV and it ran everything with one a/c on with no problem, I’m tempted to try both a/c without the microwave on, I didn’t think it was enough to run both but you have proved that
Good morning Gavin! Thank you for taking the time to do this review! All of your reviews are so consistent and easy to follow and compare! This generator is bigger than what we desire, but it looks to be a great set up. I am always disappointed with Champion that they don't put remote starts on their dual fuels. Aside from that, and the bigger size, it looks awesome! Safe travels!
@@GeneratorReviews How do you use remote start when the generator is on propane? If the propane is wide open and the carb is not using the fuel, would it not leak?
@@SandstormGT No it won’t leak because the generator have an auto shut off valve solenoid. It’s located on the fuel line before the carburetor shuts off the propane.
@@GeneratorReviews Okay, I only ask because that is the reason Champion gave for not including remote start on their dual fuel generators. I guess since they can't verify whether someone would be using a auto-shutoff valve they played it safe and removed the feature? Also, have you seen or heard of these being in stock anymore or are they discontinued permanently?
Just a heads up for everyone. I bought one of these brand new in January of 2022. Did all the oil changes, checked and cleaned the air filter etc at the correct times. In the last month it started running rough/surging and suddenly it couldn't handle the previous load I'd run on it. Did a oil change, checked the air filter (clean) and put a new spark plug in. It'd either surge really low and struggle to stay running or die. I had it running today powering about 350 watts worth of lights in a trailer and while I was away it apparently died. Generator will no longer start at all. I know guys who run generators and never change the oil or rarely and they stay going for years. Just a heads up to anyone looking at this unit. Hopefully, Champion will stand behind their product and make it right. I noticed most of the reviews are right when a person buys the unit new and no one is giving updates down the road for long term reliability.
@@GeneratorReviews Figured I'd update this. I went through and cleaned out the carb and still nothing. Someone suggested checking the valves and upon inspection the exhaust valve retainer had given out. Contacted champion but they won't honor warranty since I don't have a receipt. My fault but heads up for anyone that buys one.
I think you're at the point where if the town ever had a power outage, they'd be coming to you to fire up all your generators to keep the town going. Gotta say that little light can come in real handy when filling up at night. Downside is, being so close to the filler, it's bound to get killed by spilling some gas on it.
Basically I need a genset for once a year boondocking to run a 50 amp Rv with one ac at a time and minimal appliance use would this a better option than going with a larger unit? Plus the dual fuel I wouldn’t need any pump gas. Your thoughts?
I just picked up a new champion 5500 dual fuel. My camper is a 50amp. When I plug in my 30 to 50 with serge protector I get an open ground reading on my protector. Is it sake to run the camper or what’s the fix? Thanks
Nice reviews of all of your generators. I bought this exact model, did all of the required set up, and hooked up my propane tank. Won't start with the ignition switch. Pull starts fine. I tested the battery myself, and had it tested at an auto parts store. Both tests said the battery is good. I made sure that all of the cables were connected. I'm waiting on a response from Champion. I bought it new a month ago. I haven't tried starting it with gas, but I wouldn't think that it would make a difference as far as the electric start. Any ideas? I know nothing mechanically about small engines.
I have the exact same generator, haven't used it yet at a camp site. I have 2 dometic AC units without soft starts and it stumbled when trying to run both. I assume you have soft start units on both your AC units? I like the generator, one thing I do wish it had was a "real amp meter" instead of just a five bar graph....
Yep I do have soft start Instead of buying a bigger generator I installed soft starts now I can start my generator with really any size generator it really helps I think it’s a must Thanks
What the main difference between the 5500 and the 4500 I’m looking at buying one and would love your opinion in which one you’d purchase I’m going to purchase a dual fuel thank you
I just spoke with champion and unfortunately neither of the two 5500 units duel fuel or gas are currently being produced. There factory that is tooled to make them was destroyed by a tornado. Any recommendations on the next best duel fuel for a 30amp travel trail, I would like to use propane as my primary source.
Dont kill me if this question sounds dumb, why would anyone go with any other inverter besides this one in terms of price. And its give of way more wattage. Im purchusing a 2021 38dbq 5th wheel, would this generator do the work i need it to? Yes its 50amp hook up.
@@GeneratorReviews Your channel is awesome, and very imformative. I appreciate you brother much respect much love. The soft start any particulR brand you recommend?
I agree this unit is has good features/value and price per watt is low. I think the main reason is not as popular is: its new, its only available at Bass Pro Shop and Cabela's ( as far as I know) and Bass Pro and Cabela's as been out of stock most the time.
Would you recommend this model generator over the new 5500 watt predator dual fuel model? I’m looking for a dual fuel that will run my camper that has 1 small window AC unit and 1 mini fridge, plus one tv at about 1/4 load total to keep noise levels way down during quiet hours at campgrounds. I like that the predator has remote start and supposedly is a little quieter. Do you have an opinion on either? Or on the sound differences? Thanks!
Oh i was running it on Propane. Which only puts out 3600 running Watts. It does have the same start up watts of 5500 as gas. I wouldn’t think 400 watts would make a difference
All of the inverter generators do. Eco mode is not possible on a conventional generator of any brand, because engine rpm determines the AC frequency... therefore the engine MUST run at 3600rpm to have the correct AC frequency.
Nice genny with a lot of good features. Love the fold down handle. When you go to RV parks is it noisy with all the generators running or does it not really matter as everyone is running one? Or is everyone spaced far enough apart ?
Hi Gavin, love your channel. I'm about to buy this unit as a backup for power outages. my concern is it dropped to 98V when it was overload even though it wasn't close to 4000w load. could that damage my new expensive refrigerator and television ? I usually run my fridge, freezer , a 1500w space heater , the blower of my propane fireplace , internet and 55" tv . I currently do it all with my good old Briggs 3850 with a small ups to protect my fridge and tv. I just want a quieter unit. keep up the great work!
If you have any concerns, you can always run a surge protector that should protect your sensitive equipment and shut off the power before any damages can occur.
@@GeneratorReviews thank you I never before had a generator and was kind of worry thinking that there was something wrong with mine. Again thank you. Good on all your reviews.
Huh, rated at 5500/4000 watts but it went into overload before that. The Westinghouse 4500 was able to power more than that. Do you think its performance is due to the RV plug since its rated less than the overall machine (30A plug)? Maybe running the RV plug and a standard plug at the same time, would get the 4000watts? It shut off around 3500 watts. In any case, it looks like the Westinghouse, eventhough rated less, can power more....at least from that one plug.
One thing I really like about the champion 5500 is when starting loads like A/C units it has zero hesitation especially when running two ACs I don’t think the plug has anything to do with it because I’ve tested larger generators with the exact same set up Thanks for watching Steven I appreciate your comments👍🏾
Hello Gavin. Can the 120V 30A RV outlet, be used with a 30 A cord with 110 female ends. I don't know anything about generators and will be running cords into the house. Your channel has been a big help!
Okay I will Thanks for watching With the 30 amp generators it’s just a matter of getting the right adapter. Please Subscribe I will show how in one of my next videos.
What about the load it can handle,do you think it can handle a bigger load. I know what the numbers say on the machines but in your opinion Wich on holds a better load?
What's the names of the gas generators that can use gas/propane with a remote/electric start and the battery is already attached with a gas meter and oil meter ?
Hello Gavin, I could really use your expertise. My parents purchased a 50 amp, 33ft travel trailer with dual ac.,15k and 13.5k. They bought the same generator you’re load testing. The break-in has been done, but I’m curious to know your ac btu’s and why we can’t get both ac’s to run. The only other appliance that is powered on, is the 12v fridge. Help! If you have time, thanks!
Hey 👋 Tell them congrats on the RV, soft starts are a must for the Rv ac, not only does it extend the life of the units it lowers the starting amps and makes it possible to run both. The extra cost quickly makes up in your peace of mind
Hello again Gavin! Ok, we put a soft start on the 15k ac, but we still can’t get both ac to run. Should we put a soft start on the 13.5k 2 control ac or are we doing something wrong. Your input would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hi Gavin Wanted to buy a deep fryer with these specifications: Connection Electrical connection: 1N/PE / N / PE 230V volts / 50 Hz Power: 3.50 kW Could I use this generator?
Great video! I just ordered one of these today. I plan to use it as a home backup (not hard wired in) in case of emergencies, to run a fridge and freezer. Let me know if you ever do a review using propane, as I won't be using this much I most likely wont be using it gas powered. Awesome split screen with the digital in the corner. One more thing....do you happen to do a video for newbies about generators? I'd like to learn the inside info on things like how to break it in properly, maintain, and store it, etc.....Again awesome video...Thanks!

Thank you Gavin , from your research do you know if the censor CO2 shut off could be a problem longterm..apparently those censors have limited life span and can make the generator stop often..read that from a user of the same generator.
Gaven, trying to decide between this champion and Westinghouse 4500df. I have 50amp Fifth wheel with soft starts on both AC’s. Looking for quite, weight and power both AC’s and couple tv’s and lights and water pump. Everything else on propane. Which would be your recommendation?
They’re both dual fuel the champion handles the two AC and refrigerator and couple other appliances Westinghouse gives you remote start Great Generators both have a three-year warranty I’m going to do a test on the Westinghouse dual fuel 4500 Then you can see exactly which one you want
@@michaeljay6271 There is a visual size difference the champion is larger and wider when it comes to sound I think the champion is quieter, If I was the one buying and I had to make a decision based on those two I would go with the champion especially with the LED lighting for night time and the extra wattage If you think you’re gonna be using the remote start then consider the champion they’re both awesome choices

Hi Chris, where did you purchase this model online...I want one but having trouble finding at Cabela/Bass Pro and on the Champion website. Thanks
Dude, your grass looks amazing!! Just had to tell you that lol
Thanks 😊 please subscribe
Can you plug in the propane tank run it on that and when that runs out it automatically switches to gasoline mode?
This one doesn’t have switch on demand so it won’t automatically switch
I think you're at the point where if the town ever had a power outage, they'd be coming to you to fire up all your generators to keep the town going. Gotta say that little light can come in real handy when filling up at night. Downside is, being so close to the filler, it's bound to get killed by spilling some gas on it.
I thought the same thing about the light being so close the good thing is it’s a sealed LED.
do you air conditioners have a soft start?
Yes, I have Soft start on both my A/c units
@@GeneratorReviews I thought so...thanks.
Excellent 👍. Thank you ... Can you do an update on how it runs now ? Ty 😊
Thanks again for another test.
Can you add a muffler extension on this unit, say you want to put it in a shed?
Yes you can! you'd have to fabricate one
Basically I need a genset for once a year boondocking to run a 50 amp Rv with one ac at a time and minimal appliance use would this a better option than going with a larger unit? Plus the dual fuel I wouldn’t need any pump gas. Your thoughts?
This unit would actually provide you with all the power for need for what you listed, especially having dual fuel.
@@GeneratorReviews thank you!
Thank you for the review. I am considering this generator as well as the Westinghouse Dual Fuel 4500. I would appreciate your thoughts on the two.
I would compare the warranties.
@@BradiKal61 warranty is the same.
Which one did you get? I am still debating between the two… using it in case of an outage for essential needs
I just picked up a new champion 5500 dual fuel. My camper is a 50amp. When I plug in my 30 to 50 with serge protector I get an open ground reading on my protector. Is it sake to run the camper or what’s the fix? Thanks
You need a bonding plug
I am trying to find the best generator similar to this. What options are there besides the predator? This doesn't seem to hit stated running watts
Check out this one

Does it have a gas Guage to tell when it gets low
No fuel gauge on this unit
I wonder how this would stack up against that Predator 5000 since I haven't purchased either?
They’re both really good generators. You’d be happy with either one. You can also look at the pulsar 5000.
@@GeneratorReviews will do thanks
I never saw your meter show 4kw without it tripping off. Isn't that what the continuous rated load is?
It did go off before 4K and that’s the rated running watts
Excellent review. Thank you!
Sounds like you may have a blown fuse or a bad switch.
Thank you.
Was gonna get the 4650 but after see this I'll be looking at getting this one instead!
Yep I do have soft start
Instead of buying a bigger generator I installed soft starts now I can start my generator with really any size generator it really helps I think it’s a must
Thanks
What the main difference between the 5500 and the 4500 I’m looking at buying one and would love your opinion in which one you’d purchase I’m going to purchase a dual fuel thank you
The main difference between those two is the starting watts of the 5500 allows you to start larger loads without any problems
How does it compare in size(physical) to the Champion 4500?
They look to be about the same size
I’m doing a video putting all of them together
@@GeneratorReviews Sounds great! Keep up the good work! Love your channel!
I have the 4500 watt model and its about 25 lbs lighter than this one
@@BradiKal61 Thanks for the info!
I’m looking at the Champion 4500 duel fuel inverter (200988). Are there any distinctive differences other than the output?
They are completely different generators
What adapter you need for a home transfer switch
This is the adapter you need for the cable to the transfer switch

I just spoke with champion and unfortunately neither of the two 5500 units duel fuel or gas are currently being produced. There factory that is tooled to make them was destroyed by a tornado. Any recommendations on the next best duel fuel for a 30amp travel trail, I would like to use propane as my primary source.
That’s unfortunate the 5500w was always out of stock check out this video
ua-cam.com/video/y-jbX2CzXNo/v-deo.html
Is Al of those stuffs included the connectors wires and all others? If not where can I buy all of those? Please give me some details thank you
Yes its all included in the box
Dont kill me if this question sounds dumb, why would anyone go with any other inverter besides this one in terms of price. And its give of way more wattage. Im purchusing a 2021 38dbq 5th wheel, would this generator do the work i need it to? Yes its 50amp hook up.
Yep! I think it’s able to get the job done. Just plan on installing soft starts on your AC it help the Generator and also helps the ac compressor
Thanks!
I will do a video comparing the two if that would make it easier for you.
That would be great!! Thank you very much!!
Oh i was running it on Propane. Which only puts out 3600 running Watts. It does have the same start up watts of 5500 as gas. I wouldn’t think 400 watts would make a difference
Only if you plan on running it in the 90% load capacity
Thanks again! Watching from central TX 👍
Thanks 😊
I wish more of their generators had eco mode to help keep the noise down when possible
Thrust me you’ll know right away when that one guy is running his open frame construction generator 😩😩😡😳
@@GeneratorReviews Oh definitely 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Was wondering about the generator rv output. Is it a 50amp split 120s or just a single 120 vac rated at 30amps.
Just purchased one this champion generators and the plugs are reading open ground. Have you check yours to what the reading is?
That’s normal with all generators if you’re trying to use a surge protector you need to use a bonding plug
@@GeneratorReviews thank you I never before had a generator and was kind of worry thinking that there was something wrong with mine. Again thank you. Good on all your reviews.

@@GeneratorReviews thank you so much. You’re awesome. 👍
Woul like to see a review on the champion 8750 open frame inverter generator too
I now see that Champion makes a 9000 W open frame inverter generator. That would be nice to see you too.
That unit fits my needs, Question, how much would it be to install Remote start?
There are other units with that exact same specs and remote start. The problem is you have to install automatic choke as well.
One thing I really like about the champion 5500 is when starting loads like A/C units it has zero hesitation especially when running two ACs
I don’t think the plug has anything to do with it because I’ve tested larger generators with the exact same set up
Thanks for watching Steven I appreciate your comments👍🏾
Thank you! BE BLESSED!! 🙏🏻
Thanks 🙏🏾
Gavin how does this stand up to the cummins 4500 in your opinion
The Cummins is a bit more compact than this but the extra starting watts helps with the larger loads both are a great choice.
Is it safe to add 3 gallons of gas in the generator while it's running so I don't have to turn the generator back on ?
No they recommend turning the generator off when refueling
Hello Gavin. Can the 120V 30A RV outlet, be used with a 30 A cord with 110 female ends. I don't know anything about generators and will be running cords into the house. Your channel has been a big help!
Yep you can check out this one

Question,,,,,need to show how you hooked up it up to the rv ,,,,,I know your rv is a 50 amp and the generator is a 30 amp
Okay I will

What about the load it can handle,do you think it can handle a bigger load. I know what the numbers say on the machines but in your opinion Wich on holds a better load?
I'm asking these questions because I'm looking for the best df 4500-5500 generator out there any suggestions
Great review Gavin--thank you! Folks, are the battery terminals on this easily accessible to hook up a trickle charger, if you wish to do so?
Very easy to access it
What's the names of the gas generators that can use gas/propane with a remote/electric start and the battery is already attached with a gas meter and oil meter ?
What generator did you like the best this one or the Genmax 5500?
The Genmax 5500w handles the power and load better
What was the db at near max? You do the db at low wattage and mid, why not at high?
I will remember to do it at high but the db on high was 62 db
Hello Gavin, I could really use your expertise. My parents purchased a 50 amp, 33ft travel trailer with dual ac.,15k and 13.5k. They bought the same generator you’re load testing. The break-in has been done, but I’m curious to know your ac btu’s and why we can’t get both ac’s to run. The only other appliance that is powered on, is the 12v fridge. Help! If you have time, thanks!
Hey 👋
Tell them congrats on the RV, soft starts are a must for the Rv ac, not only does it extend the life of the units it lowers the starting amps and makes it possible to run both.
Also noticed the adapters you used. Does that have any bearing on our issue…50 amp RV to 30 amp generator receptacle?
Is it ok to run my air conditioner and other things on eco mode on my big rv
That’s the only way I would do it remember the ac cycle on and off
@@GeneratorReviews what do you mean ac cycle on and off
@@billjohnson5023 The ac once it reaches temperature. So you should run it on the eco-mode
Hi Gavin Wanted to buy a deep fryer with these specifications: Connection
Electrical connection: 1N/PE / N / PE 230V volts / 50 Hz
Power: 3.50 kW
Could I use this generator?
Unfortunately this generator doesn’t have 240v
Great video! I just ordered one of these today. I plan to use it as a home backup (not hard wired in) in case of emergencies, to run a fridge and freezer. Let me know if you ever do a review using propane, as I won't be using this much I most likely wont be using it gas powered. Awesome split screen with the digital in the corner. One more thing....do you happen to do a video for newbies about generators? I'd like to learn the inside info on things like how to break it in properly, maintain, and store it, etc.....Again awesome video...Thanks!
Thanks for watching 👍🏾
@@GeneratorReviews hey can this be used with a transfer switch for home. Need to know while I can still cancel
You can use it with a transfer switch but you’re not gonna power any 240 V loads
@@onemansjunk1252 you’d be better off buying a 240 V generator that would work much better
@@GeneratorReviews I don't power any 240 loads during an emergency. That I know of. Regigera, freezer,Ac or furnace lights and TV. A 4k 3300 running powered everything but just barely. How do u monitor gas levels . Thanks for you're time
Does that model have eco mode?..or is it automatic
It has eco mode
What kind of load meter is that? I need one of those.
Just something I put together myself actually have a video showing how to make one
Great video Gavin...is there a visual gauge for gas ?
No, this model does not have a digital gauge
Thank you Gavin , from your research do you know if the censor CO2 shut off could be a problem longterm..apparently those censors have limited life span and can make the generator stop often..read that from a user of the same generator.

Gavin, do you recommend this one for the new 50 amps RVs. Or Genmax 5500? What is your opinion?
If you have the 50 amp RV the Genmax will be more power for you rig.
Csn this be converted to ags?
not that I know of

Westinghouse gives you remote start

They have to be 240v generator each. Individually
I'm guessing it's not hot outside if two ac units running & you're only drawing 21-22 amps. This doesn't seem like a very realistic test.
