About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first UA-cam channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

I’m glad RJ wasn’t sick! I thought he was sick on the last few vlogs because he was a bit pale and tired-looking. Seemed like he was just stressing, but even stressing will make you sick. Hope he gets his well deserved relaxation and rest so he’ll be at his best most handsomest when you do the house tours. 😊

Yes, Jurassic Park is one of the iconic movies of all time… John Williams, world's greatest composer I think. For me, Indiana Jones movies were super impactful. They’re all pretty amazing and have made their mark on pop culture.
I kinda knew the chocolate and pineapple combo was not going to work but, I guess that’s just something you have to experience to know. I am one of those that believe that Pineapple DOES belong on Pizza so, not sure my pallet is that expert.
Watching how much you enjoy your pool makes me so happy! I love how it seems to have become a central entertainment point in your home. I’m super excited for the big reveal/house tour vlog… that is years in the making (surely worthy of a John Williams soundtrack ;) ).
Cypher’s so funny when he’s strutting around on the roof, he’s definitely owning his world, LOL.
Even in SEA, we are getting some smoke from Canada, it’s quite a thing.

Yes, the fires are awful! I live in Connecticut and the smoke has been at hazardous levels! Outside events and concerts have been canceled for the past three days. The US has sent many fire fighters to help this week. Sending lots of prayers to our Canadian friends! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

It hurts my heart 💔every time I see the conures trying to bathe in their water bowls, especially since I know you really wanted a natural looking water feature.. I MIGHT have an easier to clean and safe solution that could be a Mikey DIY project!!!
I know you (and some friends) have some experience with the lightweight concrete stuff used in aquaria and zoo exhibits to look like rock... such as your dragon. You can make a natural looking boulder that is mostly flat on top. This would make it very lightweight and easy to pipe. Though of course if you have more of those gorgeous rocks from the landscaping that is an idea too! In the center you can put a bubbler so that water gently cascades across the surface and over the side(s) into a pebble covered reservoir area that recycles the water. The birds would enjoy the top of the boulder and the pebble area for bathing. Conures live in the canopy of rainforest and so are more loving of gentle water instead of hard rain. I know you really wanted a water feature but wanted one easy to clean. This one should be as you can just brush the boulder clean and there are no deep areas of water.

To me the best pairing of dark chocolate (my fav!) and fruits... is to pair it with strawberries 🍓 (of course)... but also it is amazing with orange 🍊 ! Strawberries are the BEST and they do not bump your blood sugar much at all! Pineapple is just a bit too acidic. Lots of good enzymes though.
Want some bedroom chocolate fun "snacking"? I'm going to keep this family friendly but I'm sure you can fill in with imagination. After all I was very happily married for 26 years. 🤭🥰🤫 For melting chocolate you can buy a small warmer like people use for heating wax (but ONLY use for food). You'll want a VERY low watt bulb as you really just want to slowly warm the chocolate and not burn it.
OF course you can just buy a small fondu pot as they make some small ones. Anyway you can have the warmer in your room and when you feel like it warm a bit of dark chocolate until it just becomes liquid. Stir until it is all liquid and then turn off the heat. You can then dip in strawberries or other fruits... orange, bananas, apples slices, etc. You can even stir using apple slices and not dirty up a spoon.
There is also nothing better than a champagne 🥂 celebration with chocolate dipped strawberries on the side! 💋💖

wow a python! 😮 i’m really concerned for your dogs running around your yard without supervision. Though that one is small the mother may not be far. You should have one of your house help to scan the yard before you let them loose, specially during times when pythons are known to be most active.
Mikey, my probiotic is a pill called Align but I also eat fruits and salads to try to keep my gut in shape, so enjoy the rest of ur evening relaxing by the pool 🇨🇦👍

my husband and i have bred trimerusurs. but we also knew about other snakes. I worked in the terrazoo and gave guided tours on how to deal with snakes.... this python is at most 2.50 m long🙏 I love your vlogs so much, I always wait for it. Greetings from Germany

Indeed, lots of fires! Smog is crazy, woods are so dry! We had crazy high temperature and no rain..
Got news for ya, Mikey -- it's not just the states close to the Canadian border that are having problems due to smoke from the wildfires. The air quality is poor on the eastern seaboard of the U.S. as far down as North Carolina, and I've read there are at least traces of the smoke throughout the rest of the country. My heart aches for those Canadians directly affected by the fires.

Wildfires started in AB and now in Quebec. The wind is blowing the smokes south of the border thus New York is experiencing a smog like atmosphere and it's pinkish red. Kinda surreal!

Our province of British Columbia usually have wildfires every year. The interior BC have had huge wildfires in the past.
Really??!!! Oh so it must be a west coast thing. I am sure it is good for some species of trees like conifers for there to have regular burning.

The Jurassic Park theme is still awesome to hear after all these years; perfect to play while Avian Dinosaurs fly around the property. Would have been awesome to hear the theme playing during that segment where the mist was blanketing the area after the rains. I dare say that the OG Jurassic Park movie is still the best in the franchise, despite a lot of the things about dinosaurs in the movie already being outdated and are no longer considered scientifically accurate. Science Marches On, as what they say, with the new more accurate depictions of non-avian dinosaurs being shown in popular media featured in series like AppleTv's Prehistoric Planet that is narrated by the man himself, Sir David Attenborough. Have you read the novel that is the source material for the movie? It is a lot more harrowing and thrilling. And I believe I read that, yes, a lot of reticulated pythons don't grow to their maximum length in the wild, as those exceptional 20-30 foot individuals only grow that size in the wild if conditions are right, so they mostly remain at a smaller size. They'd most likely try to stay away from the property once you keep Guinea Fowls.
Those large birds that you'd see flying overhead will usually by Egrets or Night Herons; The Sarus Crane, which was the only species of crane in the Philippines, used to be found in the country but they may be already locally extinct, so you won't be able to expect seeing one flying overhead, unless there's gonna be a program that aims to reintroduce them back into the country.
Speaking of birds, maybe you'd want to experiment with letting Melody wear a collar with small bells on it. The results of studies seem to be contradicting, but some studies attest that the jingling of bells on a cat's collar will alert any local wildlife that are small enough to be preyed on by a cat so they can flee. It's worth the try at least.
