I know what you mean and it really is sad. Its not just the genre but the stuff that is being sung about, the lyrics and the meanings. Idk whose benefit it is to push more and more trash rap songs to become more mainstream now. But it's partly also because sadly this is now a generation that is just salty all the time and thinks being constantly sarcastic and making fun of everything is a lit personality trait while ironically complaining about society and bullying. Generations back in the 90s and early 2000s actually knew how to enjoy and appreciate songs like this.
