    I recently got the XDuoo XQ-50 Pro 2. A very similar unit that also has the display and LDAC. Good to know what codec is being streamed, and it is almost half the price. Works flawlessly with my Samsung A71 and Amazon HD music.

    44.1khz/ 24 bit is the maximum format output via playing from Bluetooth? So while playing Apple music one can play lossless format through this device but not the Hi res ?
    So can we get Hi res output through this device in DSD / WMV / Flac format files run through laptop and its usb connection? What maximum hight res format this unit supports? Also can I use my Iphone via usb connected to this device instead of Bluetooth and listen to hi res track available on apple music?
    Thanks for the video

    Would you recommend this over the iFi zen blue v2? I just watched this review and now I’m torn in between the two. Is there a difference in sound quality?

      Both devices sound similar, like almost exactly the same. I personally keep my Zen V2 hooked up to my main stereo 90% of the time. No BS, I like them both however I keep the Zen top of my list for Sound, Range and style. ( price is not a factor ) Tough decision my friend:)

    I couldn't fight the urge and bought a Dayton Audio WBA31 HI-FI streamer. I use an ethernet connection to stream lossless Hi-Fi audio using an optical connection to my Schiit Modi 3+ DAC. The only difference I hear is that the optical output of the Auris BluMeHD bluetooth receiver adds an artificial (but very natural sounding) treble boost. It still sounds very good, but streaming lossless Hi-Fi with the Dayton Audio WBA31 sounds exactly like a CD.
    I now only use the Auris BluMe HD receiver is listen to online radio stations. It does have a smooth sound, very similar to HD Radio using the analog output.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 роки тому

      Great information and thanks. I looked at the WBA31 and did not get one because it is outdated BT 4.0 and AUX audio outputs. AUX out is (most always) the wrong impedance and incorrect output voltage. Maybe I should try one. Cheers

    Great video. I saw some negative reviews on Amazon but more positive ones. Also some thought it was good but not worth the money. Another said it was making his speakers pop and crackle. Cant please everyone. So I'm taking you really like this unit and recommend it? Do you suggest getting better RCA cords other than the cheap ones they usually supply with all electronics? Thanks for your time.

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  Рік тому +3

      I read the negative comments often, IMHO most of the commenters have no idea what they are doing then send product back. Don't get me wrong as a person can get defective product, nowadays this stuff and most everything comes from chy-na, the QC from some companies can be bad to non existent. Auris does have a good track record overall. The HD and PRO are still on my list of top performing devices.
      Also... the RCAs that come with these devices will work just fine as they are less than 12" long. IMO most of the "high end" cables use the same cheap chy-na made wire anyway. Not like the old days where we could get high quality US made copper wire.
      Cheers

    I have a question? I'm 69 not to tech savvy, just bought a Rockford Fosgate Power T142, so I can get XM radio, I hate radio stations, my amp is a Sony Xplode 760 watt amp, Is the Rockford basically the same as this unit ? I want to put the unit in my 63 VW Bus, and be able to blue tooth to the Shop speakers from my bus? Do I need one of these as well?? Or dies this do more, I would like the idea of listening to my Utube Librairy of tunes! Thanks in advance, also, what would you sujeast as the best way to put my Vynalk albums into a form to listen to them on demand!!

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 роки тому

      You need to put a Head Unit that is Bluetooth capable (something LIKE this amzn.to/3JpWIjX ) in your Bus.
      As far as the shop stereo goes, if you have a stereo receiver / amplifier that has any kind of RCA inputs like CD, VCR, AUX, Tape in, you would use the BluMe PRO to hook into any of those inputs. Then you could stream from your phone or other device to either the stereo in the bus OR shop stereo system. But not at the same time, (ie) bus in the shop, it would have to be one or the other.

    Question SHALL o go with this BlueMePrp OR a fiio BTA30 pro for connecting it into a Sonos Amp ?

    • @breakerbroke23
      @breakerbroke23  2 роки тому

      The units are dissimilar as the BluMe is a receiver only, great sound. The BTA is a Transmitter and a Receiver (not at the same time, its either or ) And a DAc so you can play music files from your computer or lap top to your Stereo, and the BTA has the adjustable volume control that at full puts out just a bit more RCA line level. Honestly I like bot, they sound great. If you think you would possibly play direct from your computer or lap top I would go with the BTA... I use my BTA or Schitt MODI3 when my BTA is in my truck. IMHO Get both, then you can sent music from your computer (BTA-30) to your BluMe at the SONOS. I actually do this and I love it. @@breakerbroke23 Yes, the Dsp-100 became quite popular with the audio crowd as it allows the ts-850 to broadcast up to 6 k wide. They really sound good at 6k, but it isn’t popular on a crowded band, LOL. The 870 sounds good enough for me, it’s got a nice receiver. Ahh, I got started into radio on cb’s. Had a lot of fun back in the day on 27 mhz. I see you have the cobra 2000gtl, I had a 142 gtl, I think that’s what it was called. Nice radio. I also sub’ed to your other channel. Your amp has OPT, COAX and RCA inputs.. I would hook up all of them at the same time then switch between all of the inputs while listening to music you are familiar with. NOTE... This is important. the best input is the one that sounds good to you. Don't worry what your buddy or the internet says as it is your ears you should trust.
      Receivers/amps all have different sound qualities, some have terrible OPT / DSPs and some are great, and so on. ( I had a Denon AV receiver that had terrible built in DSP, so to my ears I liked the RCA inputs best. IMHO)
      All outputs work at the same time on the BluMe, so this should be a fun experiment. AND your amp has a switched USB, so that will work well for powering the BluMe.
