@@mohamedkamara7701 kid. he was there for all the people who need him most and yet when he need people on his side to hep him like he did they just mock his sadnees and outcast him like a plage like wtf the most sane persona can be broke if he is down and no one try to help him
Just to say This ahead of time I'm quoting @mindyours752 comments The point is that his family loved him and they went looking for him because they thought he was kidnapped. He was basically a missing kid. The mom spent everyday looking for him till the family went broke on resources trying to find him. The dad mentally was most likely at a breaking point and having his wife then ran over sent him over the edge. Having no wife or child he felt he lost everything. Thus decided to die probably thinking he would meet up with them in the afterlife. This probably sent all the family members down a spiral. Pretty sure the mom begged the other family members for money to continue the search of him till they also went broke. Everyone in the family grieved the loss of all 3 of them. Then imagine 1 day that missing kid just strolls back like nothing happened. Oh you have to know everyone is pissed. They went broke over him. Their families underwent turmoil over that entire family loss. Only to see he was okay that entire time. Obviously at that point they wanted nothing to do with him. Thus making that a realistic scenario. Being gone for nearly a year can devastate an entire family. Especially since searches are usually called off after a few weeks. Meaning they went bend over backwards for their son to keep it going till there was nothing left. Being imagine you think your kid was kidnapped. I would hope you would do everything in your power to look for them. I think after he came back realizing how everything went severely wrong he hated everything. ? thats not a new concept. its been used alot. just look at the dark fantasy story where the hero tricks the goddess into reviving him after all the evil things that happened to him. or the sris that is currently airing where the mc was killed by a trap the heros made for him and he was revived by the goddess to become the demon lord.
That's what many people actually did. It is mentioned in the story that not everyone who went missing returned. It is likely that some of them actually chose to stay in their new world.
it was only 8 months. but i guess thats all it takes when doods plottin on you (not gonna respond if someone asks about this because the answer would contain major plot spoilers).
@@Sentient.A.I. I’m saying as a parent I’d go insane . He can’t realistically explain where he’d been without looking crazy. Of course people would think he’s just irresponsible kid and ran off somewhere.
It is realistic in the sense the base story plot is essentially a fantasy variant of Rambo first blood. The fallen heroes, turned demon lords only exist because of the karmic hubris of the general public abandoning them. The way IRL soldiers are commonly abandoned after the war is over/their tour of duty served.
Easy solve just stay In the other world, if you have the chance to. In normal familys the live doesn't revolve around a single person like in those story's. Live goes on even if someone important dies. Our brain starts to forgett slowly but surely, if we are not constantly remindet by pictures or memorabilia. It's a defense mechanism of our psyche.

It’s quite the brutal come back to going home. Tho I find the reveal and story of the ‘hero of return’ is quite interesting and the story makes more sense for it. Spoiler: The hero of return can’t die period unless it a demon king. So after reaching the end of his life multiple times with the other hero’s dying happy with their lives and family but he gets sent back repeatedly…meaning the only way to stop the cycle of him going back is to die by demon king but obviously there isnt one, so he much create one which is what he plans to do with the ‘hero of the sword’ which ultimately succeeds. so everyone is freed from a time curse they didn’t and won’t ever know about which is why I find it interesting and good for the story.
Bro, that's so mind-blowing and devastating at the same time. Now i can see why he cries during hero of the sword tranform into a demon king. Im pretty sure it was tormented for him inside out too for not being able to die as he would always revived. At first i didn't understand as to why he's so idolised the demon king to the point that he cried.
Its also so much worse because he cared enough to understand he couldnt leave evryone without a chance to survive. He had to make sure there was a backup hero to kill the new demon king after he died. Enough humanity to give everyone a chance, not enough to do a murdersuicide
"reaching the end of his life multiple times with the other hero’s dying happy" the warriors concerned by this are all of the villains and a few more, he had to turn all of them into villains. and if i remember correctly the "warrior of return" (its not actually his name but i can't remember it) had to die over tens of thousands of times if not hundreds or millions. he basically became crazy and killed himself numerous times too
To add to this comment: The Resurrection Warrior (hero of return) has fought with and against these other warriors as in the timelines where he lives his life to the fullest a warrior rebellion happens in a similar way with one key factor being what helps the "good" team win. The Sword Warrior, no matter how many times the Resurrection Warrior tried the Sword Warrior always stopped him. So in this timeline the Resurrection Warrior made the Sword Warrior into the villain.
So basically, every hero they got summoned to one of those worlds had a rank to it, and depending to that rank is their strength. Hence the reason why the sword hero is the strongest, he had to go to like an s rank world
This is nuts, I didn't know there's a whole genre of this style... How awesome would this be in theaters! Although you could only do it once and it would have to be a new level of epic tbh
It's not as appealing as you think it is for a wide audience. Read a few in this genre and the flaws will become as obvious as the normal isekai genre. Very few authors can bring this concept to its full potential.
I hope you aren't dissapointed that the true MC is actually the girl and the blue haired guy, the badass villain hero isn't. A true problem for me this is why I dropped the serie.
It amazes me how you not only read and interpreted all of this, but also edited, animated and gave sound effects to it as well. The cherry on top is that you upload regularly 1hr+ videos like these. If that's not dedication I don't know what is. I had started to read this manhwa but dropped it at the beginning as I didn't find it so interesting at first, but I got through all of it because of the format it was presented to me by you, honestly didn't expect to watch through all of it. Great work, the story is also great.
The hero literally deserved better, I felt like he shouldve stayed in the new world and not gone back to the real world. Living long enough to see yourself a hero but in the end you become the villain because of the circumstances. I feel sadden for that hero.
@@petepanteramanI would have this to say that this is probably the best manhwa that I’ve read (I’ve read a lot too) when it comes to work building and character development. It’s rare to find characters who you can sympathize with in manhwa.
I haven't cried in years, since my grandfather passed away, reading SeongJun Lee/Returner Warrior's story arc I cried realising that this is truly the worst fate possible, he took hostage all of existence, with the only freedom in sight, being ending the world, just how much the author spent in describing everything he thought, how he counted his deaths, how much detail he had to memorize after going delirious hundreds of thousands of deaths ago, living for longer than a millenia in the same life... that was the most ultimate form of art I've ever experienced, maybe ever will too.
Makes you think...this could be Subaru from Re: Zero if he ever got the chance to return home. We can only hope that he doesn't fall into despair even harder when he eventually gets the chance to return.
They will never know because they were one of the first to die when he went insane. This story is quite twisted as it truly wasn't his fault anyone it happened. He was set up to be this way with care and precision.
They don’t need to feel any kind of way. It’s not anyone’s responsibility to to take accountability for what someone else does. In the final analysis, each is responsible for their own actions.
@@kronos978 You're half right. He is responsible for his own actions but by that same logic they need to take responsibility for their actions that pushed him to doing so. For every action, there is an opposite reaction.
@@izukumidoriya8969 so you are mad not mad with the facts that because after they fight with hell just to came back for theyre love ones just to find out they all are dead and people hate them and outcast them But does it bother you that people already broken and destroyed by society and who have lost control and taken revenge on the society that abandoned them and chose to forget them after all their sacrifices?
Hero has Returned. This is an excellent read. The first few chapters were a bit mediocre I felt and very trope but it really grows into it's own. As a few people have mentioned it also tries to show a realistic fallout of what it could be like coming back from an isekai world and what it does your head. Strongly recommend.
Ah the hero returns really is dark and messed up, especially when you realize it was all so that one guy could actually die. They didn't want it to go down like this but literally had no other choice but to bring such horrors to the world.
He had several options, like time travel or dimensional jumping through a Stargate created by the government or several other ideas for christ sake there were Magic and advanced science.
Ngl, the fact the actual name of the story is more a reference to the guy who caused the whole mess rather than the protagonist is pretty fun. I like when authors have their own little jokes like that (which only make sense WAY in hindsight). Its like reading Kumo Desu Ga Nani Ka, and getting to the twist. Lol.
@caaltaes732 oh no, the actual cause can't. For anyone who doesn't know SPOILERS AHEAD the resurrection warrior is the cause of it all and could not die to anything but a demon lord. So he had to make one but to do so he had to cause such levels of despair and chaos that it was insanity. He nearly broke down mentally several times just to give the world a chance to live on.
@caaltaes732 he tries all that actually even tried to make himself literally immortal and the " system" revived him shortly after he became 50% changed he literally tried 200000 + times I'm fairly sure this was his only hope
@michaelortiz1561 you are correct. He could come back from even destruction of the soul as we saw in his attempts. Nothing outside of a demon lord could kill him and allow the world to progress in turn. Only by having a demon lord be born did he have ANY chance to win
I read this and this is one of the best original story I’ve read. At first it seems like a typical hero turned anti hero/villain BUT it’s so much deeper than that. It’s like Death Note mind game fxxkery. When heroes and villains are blurred and you don’t know how it’ll all end.
One of those manhwas that's "just ok" in the beginning but really becomes so much better as the creator gets more experience in writing. If you've gotten tired of formulaic action manhwas this is the one to read.
I like this story, it really delves deep into the idea of what would happen if an Isekai hero finally returns back to our world after getting summons or reincarnated into a fantasy world. If there are more chapters about this story in the future can you make more videos about them?
People who are saying it could have been avoided are woefully ignorant. The sword hero never had a chance to avoid going bad. Literally, he didn't have a chance because he was set up. He was set up by another hero. That hero killed his parents and manipulated everything in such a way to drive him to become a deamon lord becauseof his great sorrow as he was always sensitive lad right from the start. Worse, that hero was his best, most trusted friend and ally. He did it because he himself was trapped in an eternal time loop that restarted endlessly every time he died. Sort of like groundhog day but with no way out. He was trapped for thousands of years and more. Even if he died of natural causes, because the only person who could kill him permanently was a deamon lord.... which he killed in his isekai world. Then he was returned to earth, which has no deamon lord.
The hero of return is literally a God in that manhwa he's been return for 300k+ now just to make Mitsu become the demon king after so long end even stated that he's the one who killed Mitsu's parents that means he knows everything and even he die he would just return.
@@misterbluebanana8191Hero of Return’s power basically allowed him to return to the point before his death. But the flaws is, he can’t die unless he got killed by the demon king.
OK... right from the jump: WTF? The entire plot depends on him NOT telling, and proving his story. Whatever the opposite of plot armor is, this guy has it. Honestly, I know he was in mourning, and all kinds of traumatized, but seriously? Doubtful person: "Where were you all this time?" MC who isn't an idiot: "I was pulled into another world against my will, where I was forced to fight monsters and demons before I could come home. " Doubtful person: "Bullcrap!" *swings hand back for a slap* MC who isn't an idiot: "Nope, that's how I learned stuff like this." *conjures massive fireball hovering over his hand* Crisis averted
Honestly i do t even fucking know why any of these kids go back, like tf ur pretty much equal to a king in that world no even higher ur the savior the hero why go back to earth? Even in this manga like earth was already a shit hole cause it was like ours so why tf go back i cannot comprehend
And then that hatred for leaving turns into hatred for being a freak or other hatred of being different, people do not let go of hatred easily, it's more easily shifted, especially within the story, just look at the New Hero of reformation, literally labelled as a monster just for being how she was
It's actually explained later that he DOES do this. Several times in fact, across 100s to 1000s of timelines. Until finally, the reset Hero crafts the perfect reality to break him.
I read this one when only 6 Chapters were released... I was taken by surprise how realistic the plot was and it was portrayed without sugarcoating the depression, anxiety and loneliness of a person who lost people close to him not once but twice in two worlds..and now just feels Alone. Would've loved it the most if it were like Overlord, but the story became a typical Revenge Manhwa.
So the betrayal and heartache of the socalled hero turned villians is ignored for the revenge of the new hero who is doing the same thing...crazy just crazy😂😂😂
It technically isn't the same thing since the hero turned villain is taking it out on the world while the spear hero just wants to kill the villain who's harming the world?? Of course the civilians would take the side of the one who isn't gonna destroy the world?? Besides, how is Minsu's heartache any special to the people who've experienced much harsher experiences and were ignored all the same? Truth is, there are already many people who understand him, but he's blinded by his own self pity and doesn't see the bigger picture. He's thinking irrationally, just like a person who's experienced all that trauma would act, he's not being logical, being that he himself doesn't know the outcome of his conquest of making everyone as miserable as he is. He doesn't know the simple concept that people simply experience heartache differently. Point is, all of the villains all serve themselves without regard for the bigger picture. They're all close minded, self-pitying people who project their rage onto the world. That's what makes them great villains. Why would the civilians even have the need to acknowledge Minsu's suffering in the first place? What good would acknowledging it even mean when the suffering is already inflicted? Even if the whole world acknowledged his suffering, it doesn't excuse the crimes he's done to humanity. Lol. Sorry for making such a long comment 🙇
Heroes sacrifice everything for the world Villains sacrifice the world for their loved ones But broken people have nothing left No loved ones There were no heroes when they needed them the most It brakes them Mutates them Turning them into something truly horrifying What is the world when they have nothing In the end they either try to kill everything or kill themselves The only other way to save such a broken person is to give them someone to love and to be loved by that person
1:36:56 really makes it set in how hopeless it really is. I didn't understand the reset button thing, but chalked it up to poor writing. but this makes it make sense. the fact there is legit no way the good side wins. even if they kill every hero, when it gets to killing the hero of return, it's hopeless. he can't be killed. there is no way to contain him. his existence makes it impossible for the heroes to lose. it was hopeless all along.
Hero Has Returned 용사가 돌아왔다 Narak / Fungback Genres: Manhwa,Shounen(B),Action,Fantasy,Tragedy Original Publication:Ongoing Summary Kim Min-soo, a hero who saved another world with the single thought of returning home. I'm surprised he left out the biggest plot twist of the story, but I guess that is for another video. I've read further and I can tell you all that this story has a lot in store for you, especially the plot twist I mentioned earlier. Hint: it's related to the Manhwa's name, specifically the "Return" part.
@@vilhelmingare6985 Ok but before you read below this contains huge spoilers, so if you don't want it to be spoiled don't read further The Hero of Return's ability is to turn back time when he dies (however the earliest he can turn back is to the moment he returns to earth), unless he dies at the hands of a Demon King. In the Original Timeline there was a war between two hero factions and some hero died. The Hero of Return went back in time and fixed everything, so in the Second Timeline everyone got a happy ending, the Sword Hero married the Shield Hero and was BFF with the Return Hero, the Return Hero married the girl from the beginning of the manhwa, who was the original Spear Hero. However, when he died of old age, he returned to the moment he came back to earth. The Return Hero came to the realization that he alone has trapped in the entire world in a infinite time loop, as long as he exist the world can never progress past the moment of his death. He then experimented hundreds, thousands, and millions of times to either kill himself permanently or to make himself immortal, nothing worked (in this process he also became desensitized and delirious, as one would). So he came up with a plan to artificially create a Demon King. In order to make a Demon King, the candidate has to accumulate Karma by killing people, however, everytime he tried to make someone a Demon King, he was stopped by the Sword Hero, who was simply so powerful that no amount of planning or prior knowledge from his returner skill can match Sword Hero's strength. Eventually he had to change his plan and make his former best friend the Demon King. So then it was revealed that the scene at the beginning of Manhwa was all orchestrated by Return Hero, he killed the Sword Hero's parents before Sword Hero came back, he manipulated everything so that the Sword Hero will be scorned by everyone around him and fall into depression, all done in order to break the Sword Hero, so that the Sword Hero will go on his rampage and become a Demon King in order permanently kill him, and ending the Time Prison his power has built.
@@JamesQHolden The return hero wasn't actually evil per se, or perhaps his actions was but his intention wasn't. After he turned the Sword Hero into Demon King, he tried to help the new Spear Hero defeat the Sword Hero. It was his entire plan all along to die at the hands of the Demon King Sword Hero and then to have another Hero kill the Demon King Sword Hero. So he tried his best to train the Spear Hero using his ability. And then he fought the Sword Hero countless times until he was able to cut off the Sword Hero's arm before he died at the hands of the Sword Hero. As for what happens after that we don't know yet. the story isnt finished

I LOVE this manhwa, while it does make Korea the strongest in terms of heroes born there, it gives other countries their own really strong heroes that either exceed or match up with the current Korean heroes
When I first started reading this story a few years ago, my first thoughts were, why doesn’t the main villain go look for his dead parents in another isekai world since everyone’s being sent to one or just wait till they get back like he did, then the series made a turned for the worse
The series does seem to have a single answer that explains both of these ideas away. That being, they could die in the other worlds in which case there is no hope for them to come back. There is an example of a world dying to the hands of another demon lord in form of the Ice Witch that turned the Hero of Glaciation into an undead near the end of the video. That is why she had come to help him in the first place.
There's actually an explanation for that only teenagers can be isekai upon death in this manhawa. They also have to die at the exact same moment another world is seeking a hero. (Which is show by the spear hero in the ogs timeliness being a girl instead of the current spear hero we know currently) if both of those conditions aren't met, you are just dead never to return.
Man to be honest his friend is total shit he wanted all this not to start and blames his friend but he was the one who started it for not being there for him
this is a perfect example of how you should deconstruct a genre, is not just "what happens after the isekai hero returns" it also expands on that idea to tell an amazing story, is there more than one person who got isekai'd? there isn't just one type of world there's a bunch of different ones, true, most of the heroes are pissed after returning, but not all of them, there's also many of them that are willing to fight for what's good, not all the returning ones want to destroy the world, for how long has this been going? wouldn't the goverment know about some of them? hats off to this greath manhwa
The part where it's revealed that other countries have heroes kind of makes the fact that Min Su Kim was treated so badly make no sense. If heroes have been returning for 100s of years, and have even been known to governments. Why didn't the government offer assistance to him when he returned? You'd assume they'd have an entire program to search for returned heroes and stuff.
You made it absolutely impossible for me to grind in game loot, the voices of characters dying and the comic itself with you reading it aloud made it a great watch for sure, cant wait to binge more of your videos to see what other cool manwahs I should get into THX!
Spoilers Lim do-Hoon's story was what finally broke me. For some reason that was such a sad story. Especially when he wrote to his parents to forget about him. YOU'RE THEIR SON! Rip Lim Do-Hoon. Don Quixote.
I'm disappointed in the main "hero". He didn't even try to use his skills upon return, but went straight mass genocide _out of sadness_ Life so often smacks us in the face. Is it the reason to make everyone else miserable because of that? Instead of harnessing the anger and saying "f you" to the life circumstances and power yourself out of your miserable situation, he just straight gave up. If you want to f your life, do it with style, so you can say that you at least tried.
Don't overestimate humans. I experienced humans that just lost their mind bc of minor things and did not pay the consequences any thought: just brainless, emotionally unstable actions
but the hero of time literally went through thousands of timeloops just to break him so it wouldnt matter i mean the hero of time has 150000 years of experience
Gonna be honest, as someone that read it as it came out, it's just exhausting. You can talk about it being deep, but the story itself moves slowly and 99% is "here is a character, oh they are sad, now they die/kill people" move on to the next villain of the week. I stopped (iirc) around 100 chapters in because it was getting tiring to pretend anything in the chapters would matter, or to care about any of the characters. There is no communication, the antagonists seem to have infinite plot armor and convenience on their side, and the mc is.. honestly not all that developed, with even MORE bs on his side. The most interesting characters are always the ones that are about to die, and you learn that pattern fast. Being sad and angry stops being compelling fast when it's the character arc of literally every character, and all the ones that deviate at all, or deal with that sadness or betrayal, have finished their arcs and either die or are static from then on. Tldr the entire thing is just "hehe you die a hero or live long enough to be a villain" and "subversions". A lot of iam14andthisisdeep packed in with some genuinely good, but ultimately meaningless side characters. Yes, the message is interesting, no, that doesn't make the thing good, especially with so many things coming together frustratingly predictably to keep the edge train rolling.
ok for starters with all the work the hero did he should have at least a little more respect then being pushed aside . with that being said the way they treated the guy he has every right to destroy the city and move to the woods and use his gifts to build his own castle and live there . the problem i have is calling the people the hero killed innocent . the child may have been the only one but many of the other people where ither directly involved or egged the gulty partys on so leveling the city is the best option and the people where asking for it . it costs you nothing to be a decent person and being trash to others may not result in this happening but the world would be a better place if this happend . it will make people think twice before tring to beat up a kid they think is weak or to insult someone every day . the people you may need to worry about most are not the ones that yell back but the ones that dont . the quit ones are more likely to explode take justice in there own hands as they may think .
The Hero of Return is the true villain here. He confesses to killing Minsu's parents before the return that also wipes their memories at 43:45. He returned over 500,000 times and we can assume he killed Minsu's parents at least 500,000 times just so that during one of these returns, Minsu would become a Demon King.
Perhaps I'm missing something. The Hero of Return kills himself over and over again to return back in time to set the actions in motion whenever Minsu doesn't reach demon king status. If he chose not to kill Minsu's parents, wouldn't that stop Minsu's descent? I haven't read the Manhwa so my speculations are completely based off this video. So if the Hero of Return knows more of what happens, and this samsara circle needs to be broken. I assume that He needs Minsu to ascend so that he may kill off certain key characters and then the True Hero(Hopefully the lance hero Soo Park)b would be the one to defeat the demon hero king and break the cycle?@@tomjanning2710
@@tomjanning2710 Save the world by dying, but in a way that basically ends the world? Nah, at that point he just selfishly wants to die. He doesn't care what happens to the world after that.
@@Jb-id1bu no. the world constantly loops, basically all human life is trapped in an endless circle, no advancements just stasis. he tried to die every way possible and was unable to do so. to free the world means he has to die
@@tomjanning2710 I think you missunderstand something. He doesn't want to save the world, only himself. Literally no one know of the timeloop aside of himself because he s the only one keeping his memory. And that drives him crazy. That's why there's a saying that "Villains are not born,They are made by the world" and "They hate me for being a monster but has anyone apologize for turning me into one"
Makes me wonder if the heroes are cursed with tragedy upon their return. Yes some of them were fucked before they became heroes, but it's nowhere explicitly said that they didn't have tragedies after returning
Thank you for choosing to narrate this beautiful manhwa with your own voice. This made the experience of watching and especially listening way more enjoyable. The work you have to put in to record this must have been timetaking and hard. This is how manhwa recaps should be made
The thing is, his family is dumb tbh. They spent all of that money to find him, and yet, when they finally found him, they just shoo him away? Like, at least treat him to a nice homemade dinner, ask him what happened and stuff. Then, when he finds out about his family's situation, he would do his best to help. He was a kind boy, he would've done it. Maybe they expect him to do oddjobs or regular jobs like convenience store worker or something but that is still better than basically telling him to get lost. The poor boy lost his parents without knowing about it, his aunt and uncle should've done their best to help him, not by telling him to live on the streets and stuff like that.

I remember reading this and genuinely HATING it. Maybe it was the toxic platform where people commented about atrocities that they were inspired to do because of how edgy the manhua is. I think the power system is royally f'ed, minus all the stupid plot armor the sword hero has. It was a good concept, but I think that it just wasn't written well enough. The villain's actions aren't justified by their reasoning... as well as all the stupid plot armor. ALSO, it just brings out the worst in readers... like some horrible stuff and I'm even seeing arguments break out in this very comment section. So I genuinely Hate this story... but now that I know it's finished I'm going to finish it out of spite for closure. Tl;dr: Great concept, horrible writing. Brings out the worst in readers. Like, you need therapy or be put into jail horrible.
It’s still pretty good the power system depends on the demon lord For instance if a hero didn’t have a demon lord they would be just a regular human with magical powers No ,abnormal durability , speed or strength. A good example of this is the plague warrior Spoilers His purpose was to kill a civilization that achieved absolute perfection so while he had his plauge powers he’s no stronger than a regular human Meanwhile the reason why the sword hero and spear hero are strong because their demon lords are strong. And the stories plot twist explains a lot of things that seemed wrong earlier in the comic like the scummy government or the sword heroes parents death
I agree, I think the scariest villains are the ones that just choose to be like "F it, let's take over the world tomorrow". But it's less so the villains reasoning, rather what they did AS a villain. In the USA (idk where you're from), punishment legally must match the crime. These villains' crimes don't match what made them villains. It's like if I became a villain because I got a paper cut, and then took over the entire North American continent. It isn't balanced, it doesn't make sense. Humans are unpredictable, but these are fictional characters in a story meant for our enjoyment. So it being unbalanced just feels very poorly written, and that's just how I feel about the story. Very poorly written
Damien's resurgence makes absolute sense. Very few people have faith. Abraham saw god and stuggled to find faith to the end of his days. Belief would say that Damien could come back from defeat and win. Faith demands that the ONLY way he could win is to first be defeated.
Its actually hurting my heart seeing just how much every "evil" hero has gone through nothing but suffering, while these "good" heros never suffered at all, they were immediately accepted and praised while the so called evil heros were rejected and outcasted, their entire lifes torn apart and stomped on after they already sacrificed so much. Its this reason why i root for the "evil" heros, as the good heros never knew the true meaning of suffering, and all of them would probably lose their sanity far faster than any of the evil heros. Watching this really puts our society into light, the world is really this unfair, one person is given so much more for seemingly no reason, while another person is forced to suffer and be the laughing stock of everyone. Everyone takes out their grief and misfortune out of this one unfortunate soul so much that when that person finally snaps, he knows nothing but violence, and somehow, he's the villain? I root for the demon king to end the miserable world
@LeafyReuploads Yeah, when your younger you don't really understand the depth, so you root for the cool one who supposedly "saved the day" when your older you understand the villians motivation and reasoning, as well as his tragedies and you hope that the villian can get his happy ending.
Yes they are the villain. It doesn't matter how bad their life is. When they use their power to hurt innocent people, they don't deserve sympathy anymore.
@samuelsoliday4381 But when society is the one driving people to that point it just shows that society is the greater evil. And if you *actually* watched the video it was actually another person trying to pick on the sword hero before he snapped. You would also probably lose your sanity much faster based on your naive comment
Spoilers The sword hero actually kept on being a nice guy for the end it,s just that the return hero made him go to this, he did everything possible and did it for literally uncountable times to get the sword hero on the dark side. because he had and infinite life as he couldn't die after his 1m return ( yes 1 million) , he gone completely mad to a point he give up all his morals and made this beautiful story happen. ? thats not a new concept. its been used alot. just look at the dark fantasy story where the hero tricks the goddess into reviving him after all the evil things that happened to him. or the sris that is currently airing where the mc was killed by a trap the heros made for him and he was revived by the goddess to become the demon lord.

It’s quite the brutal come back to going home.
Tho I find the reveal and story of the ‘hero of return’ is quite interesting and the story makes more sense for it.
Spoiler:
The hero of return can’t die period unless it a demon king.
If he’s lived his life out and died so many times, then by the amount of times hes returned he should have lived at least 30 millions years
So basically, every hero they got summoned to one of those worlds had a rank to it, and depending to that rank is their strength. Hence the reason why the sword hero is the strongest, he had to go to like an s rank world

For anyone who doesn't know SPOILERS AHEAD
the resurrection warrior is the cause of it all and could not die to anything but a demon lord.

Lol.

Hint: it's related to the Manhwa's name, specifically the "Return" part.
say what it is.
@@vilhelmingare6985 Ok but before you read below this contains huge spoilers, so if you don't want it to be spoiled don't read further
The Hero of Return's ability is to turn back time when he dies (however the earliest he can turn back is to the moment he returns to earth), unless he dies at the hands of a Demon King.
@@dylanhu715that’s some incredible writing. So what ended up happening? Did the original mc end up redeeming himself and defeated the return hero?
@@dylanhu715epic. i hope the sword hero gets his family back, since time travel has been introduced, i think there will be some events to happen where sword hero will end up getting the friends and family back which he always wanted
I hope this get animated, this is hard. Hope the villains wins.
I LOVE this manhwa, while it does make Korea the strongest in terms of heroes born there, it gives other countries their own really strong heroes that either exceed or match up with the current Korean heroes
I really love this series so thank you actiontoon and I hope part 3 comes out.

Plz tell me that the MC (The sword hero) destroy the worlds🙏
@@halozero6191Kim minsu isn't really the main MC
That's not possible though
Man to be honest his friend is total shit he wanted all this not to start and blames his friend but he was the one who started it for not being there for him
Who and who again?
These trucks are just magical. They keep hitting Isekai mcs and take them to other worlds!!
Well, it was a classy way to isekai, but a freaking REFRIGERATOR caught me off guard, not gonna lie.
@@Azerrr Lmao.
this is a perfect example of how you should deconstruct a genre, is not just "what happens after the isekai hero returns" it also expands on that idea to tell an amazing story, is there more than one person who got isekai'd? there isn't just one type of world there's a bunch of different ones, true, most of the heroes are pissed after returning, but not all of them, there's also many of them that are willing to fight for what's good, not all the returning ones want to destroy the world, for how long has this been going? wouldn't the goverment know about some of them? hats off to this greath manhwa
Intense. Too many heroes lose their way. 😢

Really wanted the hero that killed to be the protagonist...
You made it absolutely impossible for me to grind in game loot, the voices of characters dying and the comic itself with you reading it aloud made it a great watch for sure, cant wait to binge more of your videos to see what other cool manwahs I should get into THX!
All this issue could’ve been solved if he just found a way to return back to the land where he killed the demon king, he actually had friends there.
I love how you can tell the writer(s) was so passionate about world history and culture while writing this.
HOLY CRAP THIS DUDE TURNED THE FINAL BOSS OF THE GAME INTO AN EXP FARM!!!!!!!!!!! TF!

Lim do-Hoon's story was what finally broke me. For some reason that was such a sad story. Especially when he wrote to his parents to forget about him. YOU'RE THEIR SON!
Rip Lim Do-Hoon. Don Quixote.
I'm disappointed in the main "hero". He didn't even try to use his skills upon return, but went straight mass genocide _out of sadness_
Life so often smacks us in the face. Is it the reason to make everyone else miserable because of that? Instead of harnessing the anger and saying "f you" to the life circumstances and power yourself out of your miserable situation, he just straight gave up.
If you want to f your life, do it with style, so you can say that you at least tried.
Ths is manhwa for edgy losers, so yeah of course its not gonna make sense
Don't overestimate humans. I experienced humans that just lost their mind bc of minor things and did not pay the consequences any thought: just brainless, emotionally unstable actions
@@cornpop838it’s pretty good and a major plot twist comes later in the comic .
but the hero of time literally went through thousands of timeloops just to break him so it wouldnt matter i mean the hero of time has 150000 years of experience
@@rockylucifer6720 this is not a excuse.
I'm begging you, please do the next part 😫
The storytelling is amazing 😁👍
I would really like to see this getting an anime adaption someday holy shit I got so invested

Now, imagine if Raoul Evans was in the world of 'Hero has returned'.
This has insane production quality.
Wow! I'm glad this Manwa is back. Thanks for doing such a good job recapping it. It is intense and moving. I'm excited to see what unfolds next.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain-the Dark Knight
Yall can start reading at chapter 52, if you are done with this. Also name is The Warrior Returns
ok for starters with all the work the hero did he should have at least a little more respect then being pushed aside .
with that being said the way they treated the guy he has every right to destroy the city and move to the woods and use his gifts to build his own castle and live there .
the problem i have is calling the people the hero killed innocent .
the child may have been the only one but many of the other people where ither directly involved or egged the gulty partys on so leveling the city is the best option and the people where asking for it .
it costs you nothing to be a decent person and being trash to others may not result in this happening but the world would be a better place if this happend .
it will make people think twice before tring to beat up a kid they think is weak or to insult someone every day .
the people you may need to worry about most are not the ones that yell back but the ones that dont .
the quit ones are more likely to explode take justice in there own hands as they may think .
Truck-kun carrys the isekai as always
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain
im sorry, the sword hero is the mc of this story, you cant throw in another guy and expect us to latch onto him after building up everything like tht.
This comic kinda doesn’t have a real MC . It just follows certain heroes in some arcs
The original mc is the sword hero
I can get behind it
I'd love to see this in theater... The movie spanning over the first 60 chapters would be great.
Honestly in a show like this it's really hard to know who to root for
The start was like the one famous quote. You either die a hero or live long enough to see your self become a villain
The Hero of Return is the true villain here. He confesses to killing Minsu's parents before the return that also wipes their memories at 43:45. He returned over 500,000 times and we can assume he killed Minsu's parents at least 500,000 times just so that during one of these returns, Minsu would become a Demon King.
the villain?
no. he wants to save the world by dying. The samsara circle has to be broken
@@tomjanning2710
Save the world by dying, but in a way that basically ends the world? Nah, at that point he just selfishly wants to die. He doesn't care what happens to the world after that.
@@Jb-id1bu no. the world constantly loops, basically all human life is trapped in an endless circle, no advancements just stasis. he tried to die every way possible and was unable to do so. to free the world means he has to die
@@tomjanning2710 I think you missunderstand something. He doesn't want to save the world, only himself.
Literally no one know of the timeloop aside of himself because he s the only one keeping his memory. And that drives him crazy. He doesn't have any noble goal, he just want to be release from what is basically a prison to him.

What I'm getting from this is that South Korea is a very unempathetic place to live.
Well as a saying goes "People are not born to be a villian, they're created by the people around them"
Dragon girl got done dirty. Just wanted to live alone with her husbando

Marie stephenson part was the last straw for me i quite literally shed multiple tears i genuinely love this manhwa
Thank you for choosing to narrate this beautiful manhwa with your own voice. This made the experience of watching and especially listening way more enjoyable. The work you have to put in to record this must have been timetaking and hard. This is how manhwa recaps should be made
This is an underappreciated read, the plot twist later on is quite interesting yet also sad. Let's just say that things are not what they seem...
23:10 Jesus christ you know shit's gone way too real if a Demon King even starts begging to end his laifu.

Truck-kun catching people lacking on the daily.
It’s still pretty good the power system depends on the demon lord
For instance if a hero didn’t have a demon lord they would be just a regular human with magical powers
No ,abnormal durability , speed or strength.
A good example of this is the plague warrior

His purpose was to kill a civilization that achieved absolute perfection so while he had his plauge powers he’s no stronger than a regular human
Meanwhile the reason why the sword hero and spear hero are strong because their demon lords are strong.
And the stories plot twist explains a lot of things that seemed wrong earlier in the comic like the scummy government or the sword heroes parents death
@@nomus1172it’s not that good, it’s just edgy
I personally don't think Villains need a good reasoning to become a Villain, as long as the reasoning is good enough for the villain I'm fine with it
I agree, I think the scariest villains are the ones that just choose to be like "F it, let's take over the world tomorrow".
I root for the demon king to end the miserable world
Eh, when your a child you root for the hero, when you grow up and start to understand better, you root for the villain.
@LeafyReuploads Yeah, when your younger you don't really understand the depth, so you root for the cool one who supposedly "saved the day" when your older you understand the villians motivation and reasoning, as well as his tragedies and you hope that the villian can get his happy ending.
Nah
Yes they are the villain. It doesn't matter how bad their life is. When they use their power to hurt innocent people, they don't deserve sympathy anymore.
@samuelsoliday4381 But when society is the one driving people to that point it just shows that society is the greater evil.
And if you *actually* watched the video it was actually another person trying to pick on the sword hero before he snapped.
You would also probably lose your sanity much faster based on your naive comment
The hero of return is basically what if a genious jackass got return by death instead of subaru
