Main thing I noticed. Vandaliue is insane. That is the whole premise of this manga this man had his mind broken to the point his new normal is strange to everyone. He pulls off feats so insane he thinks they are normal and does not bat an eye and later with love and affection and getting closes to other he begins to realize what being normal is suppose to feel like, but he is still really weird and only his love one are able to decode his real feeling because he still has not learned to express his real self.

To be fair I think the student in this series isn’t too bad because they didn’t know what happened to our mc because he was the last one to leave. So he shouldn’t blame his classmates but god instead. Since the students only killed him in the second life because they truely believed he was undead monster in rampage and didn’t know his identity. Even if they did live a better life than him, is it there fault that they received the blessings? No, it’s gods fault.
If I remember correctly, they pretty much said that they sold out to the evil dictator ship that controls the planet for cushy jobs so were painted as unambiguously evil.

Rodcorte may be a god of reincarnation, but he is a systems engineer NEET who has never had to actually develop any social skills or empathy. Everything gets rolling because Rodcorte heard a rumor about other reincarnation gods doing the Isekai thing to boost a world's development only to royally screw everything up because he does not understand human emotion, does not plan ahead, does not explain anything, and constantly takes shortcuts.
I love this manga! It doesn’t pull punches, but makes fun jibes and humorous pokes on the regular. The level of back story it gives side characters and lore building it does for the world puts other manga to shame!
Damn this angers me too, God made his life a living hell in the 1st cycle, then he made a mistake and caused even more suffering in his 2nd cycle and then he blames him for gods mistakes and punishes him in his 3rd cycle.

If you read something that seems like bs, perhaps the justification could be “he has suffered so much he no longer bats an eye”, i assure you its not, Vandalieu has a very good reason in-universe as to why he is the way he is. And i would be glad to tell you BEWARE SPOILERS: Vandalieu is broken. Not as in suffering or trauma, more like his very own existence is something that should have never happened. He has been broken since he was Amamiya Hiroto and countless lifetimes before that. This affects his mind that processes things in unique ways (ie: after 2 lifetimes of continuous trauma he still never gave up on kindness, his very first memory of recieving love is until his 3rd mother) and also affects the way the world percieves him (ie: no one ever noticed his existence and somehow always ended up isolated, not despised just forgotten) Vandalieu soul is comprised of 4 soul fragments of each of the 4 fallen champions (Zakkart, Ark, Solder and Hillwillow), after their souls were broken by the Demon king. After Vida, the godess of Life and patron of Zakkart, tried resurrecting Zakkart and failed, Rodcorte decided to not let another attempt happen an reunited al the fragments of the fallen champions and create a new recycled soul, that would be born as Amamiya Hiroto eventually. Yes, Vandalieu existence and suffering is Rodcortes fault from the very beggining. Also, due to the inusual nature of the fallen champions deaths (apparently no other being since the dawn of time has ever had the capabilty to break souls and render them incapable of reincarnating) the death magic rubbed on those fragments of souls hence why he woke only death atribute affinity. And the reason why he has so much mana (and believe me, it gets so fucking ridiculous later on, he surpassed gods in mana capacity) is because of the 4 soul fragments, each one of them belonging to a hero that participated in a war between gods. Powerful is saying too little (yes they were creation oriented heroes, not meant for the frontlines, but that didn’t mean weak, it took swarms of millions, to distract the battle oriented heroes AND THE DEMON KING HIMSELF just to get close)

By the time he gets there, the God of Earth(Basically an 'All Religions are Real gestalt entity), the God of the World the Death Mage is on, and a few others all want this guy gone, since his job, running the cycle of Reincarnation has gone so wrong that it just can't be tolerated anymore...not that they're happy with the Death Mage either, because...well, he's certainly not the most gentle MC out there.

This is one of my favorite manga's I've read a few months ago. Series is awesome, but I had to "stop" reading because like any other manga, it updates pretty slowly.
This story has a WN that's almost done translation-wise and boy, it's my favourite WN EVER! Literally the story, the characters, the world, the events, everything... including the translation quality is INSANE! I remember losing track of time reading it. Each chapter is huge enough that one WN chapter is pretty much a manga chapter (30-40 pages), and has 400+ chapters (450+ including Side Stories that become relevant to the main)!
"I know it was my fault; I know I made you suffer; but uhhh...I'm going to curse you for my mistake till you let go of the resentment I caused; K?" God while inadvertently creating a villain. Lmao.
i've read through a good portion of the manga (bit past him leaving his birthplace and found a few allies) and ya its good though also fairly sad i do hope he gets a happy ending as well as maybe some much deserved pay back for all he's gone through

I know many people complain about the official translation, but the initial fantranslated chapters were really messy and inconsistent, there are plenty of mistakes too. Also a number of misunderstood parts during the narration, such as "the dragon golem being inclosed in ice", it's only the entrance that is blocked by ice, the dragon and spear themselves are free to move, they are just conserving energy.
I think I may have to find this series and buy it. That ending when he decided that "You killed my family from this life. I'll make sure you never do it ever ever again."

Loved the light novel sooooo much, but lost my spot when I had to switch to a new laptop and kinda couldn't get back into it. I was like 1200 chapters in and it's really hard to remember what was happening when you've completely lost your spot.
Thanks for the hard work. I just went to see the manga and its around chapter 50 which is not great but the light novel is really far ahead with 350 chapters. Not to mention that in some sites the light novel is reall high rankeda such as 4,7/5 which is 9,4/10
This is the first comment I left on a recap as I have watched many and a lot use ai voices and most suck Getting to the point this is one of the best videos (don’t know about channel) that’s voiced a recap. They explain well enough that you understand while not over doing it or making grammar mistakes also the voice doesn’t change much from what I’ve heard while most of these types of videos have cuts with how long they can be TLDR: really good recap video I’ll go watch more when I feel like it.
Btw the manga is completed, including a last chapter covering things from before the manga started, giving context to some seemingly "Deus Ex Machina" happening in the 'ghost town' our MC is at the end of the video. Really enjoyed the read.
the start goes strong but we kinda lost that thread soon after that. It feels like an original take on many isekai trop, first the very idea of blessing been flipped with the cursed life at the beginnings. Then the level and other game tropes often shoved in but here it's not too intrusive and even help make sense of the power scale (wich is broken as any typical isekai). But then you get a civilazation build up like 'That time i got reincarnate as a slime' for multiples last arcs (They are not bad by the way). All in all it feels the author try to be coherent but also want to shove everything in. I think there's a light novel out there of this manga and it's way further than the manga. It's a cool isekai story where the MC is broken but the world is also there to broke him and has the means to do soo (at least at first). I kinda want it to go back to the other reincarnate classemates and how he interract with them, or each other. So far so not, he's been build up as the devil king and that's all.

I love this manga! It doesn’t pull punches, but makes fun jibes and humorous pokes on the regular. The level of back story it gives side characters and lore building it does for the world puts other manga to shame!
Damn this angers me too, God made his life a living hell in the 1st cycle, then he made a mistake and caused even more suffering in his 2nd cycle and then he blames him for gods mistakes and punishes him in his 3rd cycle.

I love this series and its actually well argumented the more you read it. If you read something that seems like bs, perhaps the justification could be “he has suffered so much he no longer bats an eye”, i assure you its not, Vandalieu has a very good reason in-universe as to why he is the way he is. And i would be glad to tell you BEWARE SPOILERS:
Vandalieu is broken. Not as in suffering or trauma, more like his very own existence is something that should have never happened. He has been broken since he was Amamiya Hiroto and countless lifetimes before that. This affects his mind that processes things in unique ways (ie: after 2 lifetimes of continuous trauma he still never gave up on kindness, his very first memory of recieving love is until his 3rd mother) and also affects the way the world percieves him (ie: no one ever noticed his existence and somehow always ended up isolated, not despised just forgotten)
Vandalieu soul is comprised of 4 soul fragments of each of the 4 fallen champions (Zakkart, Ark, Solder and Hillwillow), after their souls were broken by the Demon king. After Vida, the godess of Life and patron of Zakkart, tried resurrecting Zakkart and failed, Rodcorte decided to not let another attempt happen an reunited al the fragments of the fallen champions and create a new recycled soul, that would be born as Amamiya Hiroto eventually. Yes, Vandalieu existence and suffering is Rodcortes fault from the very beggining.
Also, due to the inusual nature of the fallen champions deaths (apparently no other being since the dawn of time has ever had the capabilty to break souls and render them incapable of reincarnating) the death magic rubbed on those fragments of souls hence why he woke only death atribute affinity.
And the reason why he has so much mana (and believe me, it gets so fucking ridiculous later on, he surpassed gods in mana capacity) is because of the 4 soul fragments, each one of them belonging to a hero that participated in a war between gods. Powerful is saying too little (yes they were creation oriented heroes, not meant for the frontlines, but that didn’t mean weak, it took swarms of millions, to distract the battle oriented heroes AND THE DEMON KING HIMSELF just to get close)
I have grown a fond of this channel than other ones because this channel seems to have more hours than other. Love the channel. Hope for more good long content

Ah, one of the more interesting stories. This is one of the few that eventually goes full MegaTen Protagonist on the god that started everything off. He even has YVWH approval rating, that being, even his own people want him dead before too long.

By the time he gets there, the God of Earth(Basically an 'All Religions are Real gestalt entity), the God of the World the Death Mage is on, and a few others all want this guy gone, since his job, running the cycle of Reincarnation has gone so wrong that it just can't be tolerated anymore...not that they're happy with the Death Mage either, because...well, he's certainly not the most gentle MC out there.

So, that's why I dropped this after author started to go in to this direction, but I must admit, if I would never encounter that Korean racist of an author (Overlord of Blood and Iron), I would never been so sensitive about this things, after all there is a line to which you can bend the world or rules, especially when you are building entire new fantasy world (two of them in this case)..., a line behind which there is another version of Mein Kampf ideology.

Since that was the condition to remove the curses and all. It was also probably to stunt his growth since he arrived before the others years in advance. By the time they get if left unchecked he'd kill them all as children.

This is one of my favorite manga's I've read a few months ago.
Series is awesome, but I had to "stop" reading because like any other manga, it updates pretty slowly.
This story has a WN that's almost done translation-wise and boy, it's my favourite WN EVER! Literally the story, the characters, the world, the events, everything... including the translation quality is INSANE! I remember losing track of time reading it. Each chapter is huge enough that one WN chapter is pretty much a manga chapter (30-40 pages), and has 400+ chapters (450+ including Side Stories that become relevant to the main)!

I know many people complain about the official translation, but the initial fantranslated chapters were really messy and inconsistent, there are plenty of mistakes too. Also a number of misunderstood parts during the narration, such as "the dragon golem being inclosed in ice", it's only the entrance that is blocked by ice, the dragon and spear themselves are free to move, they are just conserving energy.
This guy (now in a half true vampire body) has more girls falling for him as a 2 year old than anyone in this entire planet combined.
I think I may have to find this series and buy it. That ending when he decided that "You killed my family from this life. I'll make sure you never do it ever ever again."

the start goes strong but we kinda lost that thread soon after that.
It feels like an original take on many isekai trop, first the very idea of blessing been flipped with the cursed life at the beginnings.
Then the level and other game tropes often shoved in but here it's not too intrusive and even help make sense of the power scale (wich is broken as any typical isekai).
But then you get a civilazation build up like 'That time i got reincarnate as a slime' for multiples last arcs (They are not bad by the way).
All in all it feels the author try to be coherent but also want to shove everything in. I think there's a light novel out there of this manga and it's way further than the manga.
It's a cool isekai story where the MC is broken but the world is also there to broke him and has the means to do soo (at least at first). I kinda want it to go back to the other reincarnate classemates and how he interract with them, or each other. So far so not, he's been build up as the devil king and that's all.
There's definitely a web novel that's pretty crazy long compared to what we've seen here.
