i just started watching these, and I've been going over them repeatedly. I'm so low in the video numbers and I can already tell these took alot of time to and work to make. just want to say much appreciation for the help.
Ive been using Fl 10 for nearly a year now and your tutorials leave me in awe. I keep telling myself one day, one day! I'd want you to know that you inspire a wave of new musicians/producers and music lovers alike to keep trying!
Very very cool, you totally are getting more out of FL studio than most people ever will. I wish I could get these plugins on my Mac.. seeing this is making me actually consider going back to PC/bootcamp, at least to design some cool basses!!
Thank you for another great tutorial. Definitely the best FL studio tutorials on YT. If anyone has questions about FL studio you tell them to watch Seamless. It’s automatic.
Hi i just watched your video for the first time. To be honest im super jelly -.- I'm working my way up to hopefully become as good as you haha. I appreciate that your showing us videos cause i don't have a mentor to help me and am using youtube basically as a guide to self teach myself haha. Keep up the good work!
Quite a nice tutorial and a bloody excellent track in the making there! (I just purchased it ;) But, either I've missed it over and over again, or you forgot to show where your X Modulation in Sytrus was going to. Excellent work man.
Thanx! I am gonna use some of this techniques, i guessthat the ability to create this kind of sounds are pretty handy these days. Bowwowow wewewewoooo :))
---Captain's log--- Date: 22-03-2016 Part: 0011 Its amazing how automation can fix everything in the world. Right now Im trying to gently climb over a wall I've been hitting since last month. (See other logs (aka. previous SeamlessR videos), maybe what Im gonna say makes more sense) I sorta know how to make some sort of sounds, aaaand kinda know how to do stuff... but Im like in a dark cave where Im struggling to see where I should go with stuff... Anyway, I just bought a new headset with 250 ohm, instead of shitty 35 ohm "gaming" headsets. The sounds are super-duper-scooper-loud and my ears are crying for help. So im constantly having my volume at super low with my amplifier. When you(SeamlessR) talks, its really quite, and when you(SeamlessR) are playing any kind of sound, its ultra-mega-death loud. Which essentially is my problem. Which again made me think of an idea... Thanks SeamlessR, you are my hero. Captain out!
+Äonothem I'm doing these logs because: It helps me to remember where I "left off". In the sense, I havent made a log in 2 weeks or so. Now I have my spesific "logs" of date and information aquired from each video. It helps me to see my own learning curve, what I learned and what I was thinking with each video. By "learning", some of the logs are just gibberish and smalltalk, but I think its a fun way to plow through all of SeamlessR's videos. Also, SeamlessR get more comments... which is a good thing... maybe? idk I've been doing soooo much with music the past month. Right now, Im working on the plugin "Harmor" which is AMAZING. But Im having the problem with creating a spesific Triangle-waveform in the Timbre section. I'm trying to understand the envelope window on how the harmonics behave. To create the Triangle-waveform I want, I believe I need to "activate" every odd harmonic with its amplitude halved for each harmonic. Anyway, if you'd like to talk about music production, DAW's, plugins, methods, techniques and so on. By all means, send me a message if you want to. It would be AWESOME :D
I'm enjoying them because I started with How to bass 50 or 70, then decided to start at 1 and noticed your comments on all the videos. I find it endearing :P
+Michael Bush Awesome :D You've been through the videos until now, or have you surpassed me? I've been stagnating because of other lifes tasks. Hit me up if you want to talk music :D
Great video I learned alot! The only thing I dont fully understand is the use of carriers. I have one question though: How do you master your tracks? I am having a hard time finding the right way to get volume without losing dynamics, without having any expensive extra equipment, do you have any advice or could you do a video about it? :) Anyways thanks for a great video.
Hi Seamless! I just wanna ask you, if you could do one tutorial for mastering. Your techniques, plugins you use and how do you use them. That would be awesome! Thumbs up, so he can see it people!
I thought you had the Vocal sample modulating a carrier in Sytrus, but now I'm thinking you had the FM synth bass from sytrus running as carrier to the vocodex, and the vocal sample modulating the vocodex, right? I hope XD
say your beat on the FL demo it was very Suave :] theres alot we can learn from actually looking at the song structure rather than just looking at how to get the perfect FM bass patch, btw not bagging on your patch production skills :] keep up the good work bro
You should do a tutorial that explain EXACTLY how Fruity Reverb 2, Fruity Delay, and Maximus mastering works. please im sure it would help making sounds better (btw, there is no tuto on them either on youtube)
You can, but VSTs aren't cross platform. My tracker on mac (Renoise) supports VST but it would need to be a Mac VST unfortunately. Also from my understanding Image Line use Delphi to develop their plugins which can only compile to windows at this time.
Seamsless can you say me how you do the sound at 1:08 ? the laser.... i tried to do the same bass as you fm bass green but... that doesn't give me the sound
My problem is that I'm on mac so while I can replicate the sytrus stuff in FM8 I'm not familiar with any vocoder plugins that have similar features to Vocodex. If anyone knows any then by all means let me know!
How do you make the FM synth run as a carrier to the vocodex, and the vocal sample modulating the vocodex? I don't get it. It sounds like you are running both the synth and the vocals through the same vocodex.
I have everything routed correctly Ive read the FL manual througly I looked over the entire Mixer and vocoder/vocodex sections. Im using OhYeah native vocal and one of the sytrus carriers, actually ive tryed them all. But they dont seem to be working together. All I can hear is the carrier... :( been sobing over this for a good 2-3months.FL Demo to blame? Or is there something I can check because nothing is muted in the mixer, I am suppose to drag the MOD aka vocal into the pattern track right?
Seamless... Great Sounds Dude... Stay Awesome , But I have One Question.. u Seem Like a Guy With Plenty Of Knowledge About Sounds , Harmonics , Fundemantals , etc... Where Do u get That Knowledge From ? o.O u See Most Of the Time I Don't Fully Understand ur Videos And That Makes Me sad.. :(

The overdrive in it is sick, and the vowel sound is just awesome

Majestic pic at the start.
beard.flp is missing
+Neo Partner he looks so fine u know. better than me
Guitar solo?! In an Electro track?!?! OMG I MUST BUY THIS! Thank you so much for all the hard work dude :D
ive probably watched all your vids like 10 times by now. just trying to wrap my head around all the knowledge
i tend to like all your video's before watching them, they're always so helpful :')
X Mod in sytrus (if it's a bass) is almost always going to the MOD amount of whatever OPs are set to route out.
Love it when you go 'mderrr' ;) nice tutorial dude, thanks a lot for sharing the knowledge!
Thanks man! you really rock by teaching us all this stuff! cheers!
Sytrus doesn't support audio input. FM8 FX however, does. Look into that if that's something you need :]
Thats why youtube is great. its filled with talented peopple, and some are willing to share their knowledge!
fantastic dude its opened my eyes up alot more, ive subscribed :) keep em coming
seamlessr = legend

Cool vocoder effects, thanks for the tut, but: Holy Brick Wall Limiting Batman!
You sir... are a god.
KING OF VOCODEX!
awesome dude! you are an artist!

Yes, that's the setup here :]
man the only thing i want to you to happen is to get so fucking FAMOUS man! You gonna be so big man. Support all the way bro
i love you seamless
Youre awesome man, I appreciate you!
Holy sh*t. Nice growls man. Somehow I can never make the vocodex work. Thanks for the tutorial.
YOU. ARE. A. GOD.
Great video I learned alot! The only thing I dont fully understand is the use of carriers.

Hi Seamless!
I just wanna ask you, if you could do one tutorial for mastering. Your techniques, plugins you use and how do you use them. That would be awesome! Thumbs up, so he can see it people!
Yes because Sytrus is a FL Studio Plugin and Sliding works with every Fl Studio Plugin :)
Just go into Piano Roll and make a normal Sliding note :)
I recommend it. it has a nice growly effect ;)
Skrill style ..
Great job man! .)
mastering tutoriaaaal please man you are awesome!
Are you really, just really, omly using the FL plugins and synth's?
Your amazing!
hello, i am new to that plugin, how do i setup vocodex to get external audio as a modulator source ? great tutorial!
"I just messed around with it until it didn't sound poopy"
My life.
After seeing a pic of you and seeing Skrillex and seeing Au5... I'm beginning to think long hair is a necessity to making these crazy bass sounds
good plug in, but i doubt you would need it with this much capabilility in sytrus. LOVE using it with massive and for builds tho!
I thought you had the Vocal sample modulating a carrier in Sytrus, but now I'm thinking you had the FM synth bass from sytrus running as carrier to the vocodex, and the vocal sample modulating the vocodex, right? I hope XD

can u try using other vocoder that is available on mac ?
The track is already out, It's called "Menagerie" and you can pay what you want for the FLP. Even $0.01 :]
Nice! Bigups for the response bud :)
Anybody know how to get Audio like vocal samples to modulate a carrier in sytrus?
Seamsless can you say me how you do the sound at 1:08 ? the laser.... i tried to do the same bass as you fm bass green but... that doesn't give me the sound
any chance for the fm8 and other plugin that can use on mac ?
My problem is that I'm on mac so while I can replicate the sytrus stuff in FM8 I'm not familiar with any vocoder plugins that have similar features to Vocodex. If anyone knows any then by all means let me know!

I don't get it. It sounds like you are running both the synth and the vocals through the same vocodex.
Does anybody know what hes modulating with the x?
is there any way to get these vsts in logic?
Hi there. This may have been asked before. But, is there a way to apply a portamento/slide effect to a sytrus FM bass?
Yes. O.O
have you used wow sugar bytes
Does Vocodex only work with channels 1 and 2? My percussions are already on those, and I don't want to have to deconstruct those.
good stuff, where can we check out the flp?
FL Studio 11 comes with Menagerie, in the "Cool Stuff" folder.
***** what cool stuff folder?
Crazegraphics™ It's an Fl studio folder where you can find a lot of tracks
neeed a massive tutorial man pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee
I have everything routed correctly Ive read the FL manual througly I looked over the entire Mixer and vocoder/vocodex sections. Would you master/ produce something for me? Also how do you get fruity loops for 1 cent?
How much time do you tend to spend on tracks?
dude, ur fkkng sick
cant wait for the flp or just a simple example flp
Your computer must be insane with all those automations... I just render each sound as a sample so my PC can handle it lol
Fruity Reverb 2 and Fruity Delay are effects, not for mastering; and I wouldn't recommend using Maximus for mastering.
nice suit
I never imagined you looked like a Norwegian wood-metal guitarist IRL.
Can't you get Vocodex as a VST?
What do you use to record your voice and record your screen?
I wish Fl had these kind of presets. I do not understand this lol
What is the genre of this song?
Besides the reverb I mean
Ahhk, Ta. :)
I think i shit my pants at the beginning
