I learned so much from this video because you made a few mistakes in the process and explained what happened, why, and how to overcome them, so a big thank you for not editing all that out. Your finished product was the most visually appealing of any soaps I've seen. Thanks again and I hope to see more soapmaking videos from you.
another idea is to put green tea in jobo oil let set till the oil turns green. castoil for more suds just heads up jobo oil helps keep a longer shelf life when working with tea soaps
Please keep on sharing your such amazing and genuine soap making videos. I have learned so much. I am a beginner in soap making. And this video is an inspiration for me ❤
Love this so much!!!! You know how’s you said to let y the soap garden a little before adding the tea? What if you did the same thing with your stamper, while it’s still soft but still a little hard to not fill back in, maybe the stamper will work that way too. You could do one bar and compare it. Just a suggestion out of curiosity lol. Thanks so much for this video such great ideas and you sound like a sweetheart!! 💚💚
Hey, can you help me, my melt and pour is very drying. I use 1tbs of Shea butter, sunflower and 2 teaspoons of grapeseed oil and 1teaspoon of Castile oil. 6oz of goat melt. What am I doing wrong
Pepsi M. Firstly what brand of MP Base are you using? Stephenson is the best. I add 1-2 Vit E Capsules to mine, for customers with Extra dry hands I’ll add 1Tbsp Shea Butter, 1Tbsp Sweet Almond Oil, 1Tbsp Mango Butter & 1/2 Tsp Jojoba Oil - I Use this recipe for the soap I Make for my eldest son & Husband as they suffer from Eczema. Don’t add Castile Oil or Sunflower Oil Are u adding any Essential Oils, Blends or Fragrances? If so which one? Are you Melting via DB or Microwave? Where are u from? If u have any other Questions Plz reply or Email me: meltcandlesbodyproducts@gmail.com
Hi...I'm from India...loved the making of green tea soap..actually I was planning to start as a hobby..I would like to get more ideas on this...thank u
please try to make soap from scratch, it is so much more fulfilling than this melt and pour stuff. Pure soap has 3 ingredients; NaOH, water and oil...melt and pour has other ingredients to allow you melt it without it looking gross
Where do you get goat soap, from chemist or order on line, can someone give me a link or some directions please I love to make this soap I love it , thanks 🙏 😊
I really don’t like melt and pour soap bases that aren’t home made because like do you know the super fat percentage or what the base fat is other than the goat milk added. And your just adding green tea powder like I dunno. I would add green tea extract too or something
Double pot with hot water in first one, and soap in second one (pour pot works best)You can buy a suspension formula soap and the bits will be evenly dispersed..You can make the whole two lb base at one time also
I enjoyed your video! Your instructions are great and the wrapping at the end was adorable! I got some great ideas! Thank you! Btw, I did not get your instagram name.
I just wanna ask if it is safe on the skin and what are the benefits in using DIY green tea soap aside from being cheap and easy> Thank you very much and God bless!
lianne bulawin Personally I think that the Green tea makes the soap extra hydrating for my skin. It gives off a nice smell and it is very safe for your skin.
When you make your own soap, you know exactly what you put in it and know its all natural if you buy/grow all organic products. It makes your skin soft and healthy while also helping you feel better knowing you made it all natural!
All green tea soaps go brown after about 5 days. Whether it’s organic or not. Trust me, I bought a 10pk for $13 Of organic green tea from a Tea shop and made it for gifts for Christmas then when they opened it, it was brown... yuck I felt so ashamed that it looked so terrible
Natasha Green I make soaps too, we made green tea soap for christmas. It isnt something to be ashamed of that it turned brown!! Its a natural reaction, next time like she says you could maybe label it. We did for our soaps and the people we gave them to felt better when we reminded them it is just a natural reaction because it oxidized. After that they loved it!
This is not a good soap. The green tea has sunked to the bottom. You need to use a soap base meant for suspending stuff or wait for it to thicken (may be). You should know that if you are 'teaching' your viewers.
this is not 'making soap' as you said...this is melting ready made soap and adding a herb to it you should specify that it a melt and pour tutorial...this is NOT soap making because the soap has already been made!
Thanks for your video, it was very informative! Heading to Costco today to find that particular green tea. Thanks again! Oh, does the tea give it any fragrance?

I made my first ever bars ... goat milk, green tea honey lemon oil and lemon zest! I’m so excited. It was sooo fun! Thanks for the inspiration!
how was it ? it sounds amazing and i might follow your idea later this week!
How was it ?? I too have the same question. As i am getting fresh oranges 🍊 thinking to add lemon orange zest.

A tip is to wait for it to cool down first so it doesn't settle to the bottom. You can also add in some Shea butter to add extra nourishment.

Even if you add some jobs oil. Will it still naturally turn brown?

That’s way too much tea for one bar.

Jeez... So sick of videos purporting to be soap making videos when they are ONLY using melt and pour. The SOAP IS ALREADY MADE!
Ah, so you didn't actually make any soap?
Do you even know what you are doing
Love this
Thanks for your video, it was very informative! Heading to Costco today to find that particular green tea. Thanks again!
Oh, does the tea give it any fragrance?
