      Yes, did it sneakily at like 11:30pm Saturday night. Same stuff, just decided to do it under a different name so Innova can remain the video company. It was starting to interfere with that business.

    I've seen that you deliver the final video podcast as either the whole live-cut final file, or you offer editing for the subscription. Have you ever considered recording ISOs and delivering them the ISOs and the Davinci Resolve file, so they can make small tweaks to the live-cut edit themselves?

      Yes, if clients bring in their own drive, we are happy to record ISO for them. Most probably don't have davinci, but some do want to have the isolated tracks.

    Great video. Good to hear about others experiences on the front end of the business. I have questions on how you manage the back end (operations) work.
    What software or website do you use for work productivity, tasking teams, and managing SOPs? How is this all orchestrated from first contact, to service delivery and follow up?
    Any ideas would be a huge help in organizing operations.

      I use Notion for all the in-house project planning, task management , etc and really like it. I found it takes a bit of figuring out to get it all set up and then it’s amazing ⚡️

      Good questions! We actually don't use a whole lot. I do think people would find a value in a video of us doing a 'faked' engagement so they can see how it goes from start to finish.

    Bro. So helpful. Just signed a lease on 1,500sqft of studio space with 600sqft of office space. Gonna build a cyc wall and 3-4 sets.
    I have a question about furniture. I can get cheap furniture off Wayfair that isn’t the greatest quality, that would break down quicker over time, or I could get some dope quality pieces right now during Presidents Day sales.
    Do you think it’s worth going quality on leather sofa, chair, etc..? I’ve had cheap crap in the past that would start to crack and peel and I want shit to last.
    My thoughts is even if I wanted to change set looks, it could still be used at my house, or office.

      All my key furniture I went with better quality, built to last. For larger pieces like sofas etc I got neutral colours and they have been used year on year, for so many different set ups. Every person comments how comfy the couch is and ppl just settle in and relax. I also got a set of comfortable chairs that are a statement colour and style that are easy to move around. Clients really like those too but because they’re so noticeable I’m careful not to over use them. I think for the things clients are going to interact with and you don’t expect to replace often get as good quality as you can. Smaller pieces that ppl will just walk by or for set background props I find I switch up those and go for more affordable options. Hope that helps

    Wish I could join the network but because of my investments in equipment and I’m early in this journey. I don’t have the disposable income to pay. I do understand this wouldn’t be a purchase but rather a great investment. so after watching this video my first goal is to provide such a great service that I’ll be able to reinvest those funds to join this community! I’m happy something like this exists and I know for a fact that we will add value to this world one podcast at a time. You’ll be hearing from me soon. Ps I saved this video ( GREAT CONTENT)
