- Toyota Alphard 2024 is here! Toyota Alphard interior and features presentation!
The 2024 Alphard retain a similar footprint to their predecessor in order to be compatible with the size constraints of automated parking systems. More specifically the new minivan measures 4,995 mm (196.7 inches) long, 1,850 mm (72.8 inches) wide, and 1,945 mm (76.6 inches) tall, with a generous wheelbase of 3,000 mm (118.1 inches).
The interior features a three-row six-seater layout designed to provide the “joy of comfortable mobility” while being more luxurious and filled with modern tech features.
The dashboard houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a color head-up display, and a 14-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system.
The roof-mounted interior lighting, controls, and rear A/C vents have been relocated from the sides to the center of the ceiling in what Toyota calls the “Super-Long Overhead Console”.
All six seats have been overhauled, while the second row can be specified with the optional captain chairs featuring reclining footrests, foldable tables, touchscreens controls, heating/ventilation, as well as massaging functions for extra luxury and comfort. Speaking of comfort, the second-row passengers can recline their seatbacks, close the curtains and rest during longer trips.
The entry-level Alphard comes fitted with a naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol producing 180 hp (134 kW / 182 PS). Power is transmitted to either the front or to all four wheels through a CVT.
The new Toyota Hybrid System combines a 2.5-liter petrol engine with one (FWD) or two (E-Four) electric motors producing a total of 247 hp (184 kW / 250 PS).
In the future, Toyota is planning on further expanding the lineup with the addition of a Plug-in Hybrid option.

Nonsense. It would be prohibitively expensive - far more than most Limo's. And it has a 4 cylinder engine Hybrid System so Underpowered AND expensive to fix. This is uniquely tailored to the Japanese and maybe Chinese market where there are luxury Mini-Vans. There is NO market for it in the USA today - and it would need more than Limo- sales to justify importation.

In MY country - a proper long wheelbase Phantom II with a properly attired Chauffeur and YOU in the back seat - is the Ultimate symbol of wealth.

Japan stopped ordering within a week after the announcement, so everyone has to wait 2-3 years!

We rode this car in 2008 in Indonesia. Sat never before in a comfier and quiter car except that voice, wich always warned us in japanese from obstacles arround us.

Hmmm big does not mean good. RR or German cars are very silence, stable and solid body. It is safest to sit properly when a car is moving not sleeping or lying down till the seat belt cannot firmly hold the passenger. German cars are quite, engine is powerful and silent. Even when you accelerate, you can hardly hear the noise from engine.
Except modern German cars spent more time sleeping at the workshop instead of our garage.

European wagons are not that popular, I've hardly seen them in the city.
Just came back from China. There are at least 12 brands with vans just as good or better than this Toyota. Most electric. More powerful, better range and cheaper.
I was amazed at the quality of the build. Nothing like them in US. We are so behind and have no idea.
