der patton ist amerikanisch, der marder veraltet, sCorpion britisch und roland ursprünglich nur ein rheines flugabwehrsystem und nur ein fahrzeug in verbindung mit einem chassi... der puma zb löst den marder ab, er hat alle wichtigen bis auf den dingo, enok und mungo gebracht

Patton - okay, existieren aber noch Restbestände, die auch noch eingesetzt werden
Gepard - nö, ist zwar geplant, aber so lange es noch keinen Ersatz gibt, ist er noch im Einsatz
Roland - auch nö. Siehe Gepard. Außerdienststellung war geplant, aber ohne Nachfolge-Waffensystem bleibt Roland weiterhin im Einsatz.
Und wenn du mir nicht glauben solltest: Die F4 Phantom ist "offiziell" auch außerdienstgestellt. Dennoch steht noch ein Dutzend in Buchel und wartet auf den Einsatz.

Most of you guys have obviously not really been at the German Army (meaning the german folks in here). You are right, we've got some of the most advanced weapon systems. Just to mention the Leopard, the Eurofighter, armored vehicles, ships and defense systems but whoever has had his/her time at the army would have pretty soon realized that the best weaponry does not work without the money maintaining it.

as an ex-german-navy radioman i dare remind you folks, that most of germans advanced military gear
is ment to be sold to foreign countries. (the israelis got our noiseless fuelcell subs.. for free due to their persistant clever play of the "guilt card") ...leopard II A6 tanks with decent turrets and barrels are sold everywhere, but due to after WW2 legislation - not allowed to be used by the germans themself (they have to mount smaller barrel/lighter turret ...so ive been tought back then)

Because the Bundeswehr isn't as active as the US army. But if I'm not mistaken both the Leopard 2 and the M1A2 are based on the aborted MBT-70 and therefore aren't actually all that different from their specs.
naja, dann dürfte er den Boxer auch nicht nennen. Der ist nen europäisches Projekt und wird in einem niederländisch-deutschen Konsortium gebaut :)
@Helge129 A walker? hehe I did not mention a walker, those are absurd! IF a soldier MUST be on a battle field, an armored ATV is preferable... but frankly, the future is robotic.

joa schon aber um den uploader zu verteidigen: sein vid heißt wirklich GERMAN combat vehicles also bezieht er nicht gleich alles ein was die bundeswehr so benutzt. bedenke: er schreibt nämlich GERMAN combat vehicles, also wirklich deutsche kampffahrzeuge - aus deutschland....
und obwohl tatsächich ein paar fahrzeuge fehlen, sind die eig wichtigsten fahrzeuge, welche (überwiegend) aus deutschland kommen, genannt!

dann dürfte der Boxer aber auch nicht drin sein. Den hat Deutschland "nur" in der Transport-, Kommando- und Sanitätsvariante. Er hat zwar eine wirklich dicke Panzerung (für ein Radfahrzeug), aber ist nunmal kein Angriffsfahrzeug.
Wobei man bei "Combat Vehicle" nicht zwingend Fahrzeuge, die selbst kämpfen, betrachten sollte, sondern auch eben jene, die direkt in der Linie dahinter für Deckung, Transport und Versorgung sorgen.

I don't think there are any legal limitations anymore as to the armament the Bundeswehr is allowed to use. Is it possible you were tought this prior to 1990?
And as for the sale of german equipment: we should be glad there are customers for german systems and that export limitations have been removed to some extent. There wouldn't be a german defense sector to speak of if orders were limited to what the Bundeswehr can afford.

What I do is design weapons systems for prestigous corporations, agencies and institutions, but then... you'd know that, if you bothered to read my channel. So, compared to your casual 'opinion', mine... is 'valid', in the real world.

because people are kinda angry why the M1 tank is famous which is only the second best tank in the world and ppl know that the LEOPARD is more powerful and not famous. famous is probably the problem, some people hate Germany and the huge fans of the leo2a6 get's attacked by the people who hate Germany and the people who like the LEO2A6 are also jealous why that not many people defend all those harsh words and arrogance from the leo2a6

Sorry, but I prefer the german Wehrmacht. Was a real german revolution, 100% of engineering and science. Between 1939 and 1945. Now it's another ordinary hight-power like USA, Israel, China or UK. Long far away of that legends like prussians grenadiers, long sword landskenettes or teutonic knights.

Unsinn, die gibt es alle noch, das ist das selbe wie mit dem G36 und g3 das G36 ist überwiegend, doch wenn der Einsatz eine stärkere durchschlagskraft fordert braucht man das G3.
