Its the best tank in the world, I always felt invincible when I sat in this masterpiece of german engineering. We always built the most effective tanks (Panther,Tiger,Kingtiger), but now our tanks are not just effective, they are rolling stonecrushing, firespitting thunderstorms.
als die russischen offiziere den leo statt den t-90 wollten hat russland ein vergleichsvideo gestartet wo die russen die reichweite der glattrohr kanonne des leos mit den lenkflugkörpern des t90 verglichen haben aber dass der leo auch lenkflugkörper besitzt die etwa 2km weiter fliegen haben die russen in dem video vergessen zu erwähnen ^^ der t90 ist der schnellste kampf panzer der welt aber gegen leo glaub ich hätte er n kleinen nachteil

die russischen panzer hatten masse ja... aber im tiefen winter auch vorteile weil sie breitere ketten hatten. bei guten klimatischen bedingungen waren die deutschen panzer natürlich besser bzw die besten. tiger gab es sowieso sehr wenige... die panzer4 haben den kampf meist geliefert und die haben durch taktik gewonnen. als die russen angefangen haben die taktiken zu kopieren hat es sich eben durch die masse gewendet.

True, some of the shell's blast is vented (the canister shot is flying around the barrel in various directions, that lets some of the expanding gas beyond the shot), but the force is still there. Naturally an individual shotgun pellet isn't going to have the same penetration as a teflon-coated 5.56, much less a canister shot to a modern anti-armor shell. HE spreads it's force out, when it faces a reinforced structure, it goes around it. Canister shot PENETRATES.

The turret is second only to the Challengers, while the Leo didn't even have a sloped front until the A5, much less sloped turret flanks. It's difficult to slope flank armor and there are more cons to it than benefits, so no MBT has sloped flanks at the moment. And sloped armor doesn't just increase the effective thickness, it increases the likelihood and ease of deflection. Even EFPs can penetrate unsloped composite armor.
