I would like to understand how self improvement of the black community (crime rates, family structure, etc) is supposed to eliminate racism against black people.

The larger point is that the problems that exist among Blacks aren’t caused by racism, they’re caused by family dysfunction and individual choices

@@tysonwright2362 People do create some of their own problems. Things also happen to people that they had no part in creating. How did individual choice trigger the massacre that destroyed Black Wallstreet in Tulsa Oklahoma, killing 300 black people? How did individual choice lead to George Floyd getting killed? Focusing exclusively on individual responsibility only addresses half of the problem.

@@TWN321 Failing people focus outward on what is already past or what they can neither quantify nor control. This allows them to be at peace with their shortcomings. Successful people focus inward on what is quantifiable and controllable. This motivates them to improve on their shortcomings.

@@tysonwright2362 Successful people develop themselves (internal), and make a mark on the world around them (external). They make the world a better place by being better people, and solving problems around them.
Name one successful person who did not purposefully change the world around him/her for the better. Jesus changed the world (edit: in part) by engaging it, uplifting People, and taking a public stand against anything anti-God.
You also did not answer the question.

      @@tysonwright2362 … yeah, I didn’t think you had any examples….
Racism is an evil from satan that we need to fight! (“Resist the devil and he will flee”) and in America racism is overwhelmingly and devastatingly focused against black people. We concede territory to the devil when we just look the other way (“give no place to the devil”).

We should all go to this country where black people are allowed to be intolerant. If Keith Sr thinks the urban violence problem is black irresponsibility, shouldn't WOF be able to show progress the past 40 years outside of his household? Looks like trump ain't the only one stuck on Fox News.

Agreed. I wondered the same thing - what country, and what “comment” was made to this white person? Lots of details not included.
