That was probably Aaravos crying after losing his Startouch Elf status and being imprisoned in his prison. We've seen Aaravos leaving the Mirror Room at some times, and that's probably where he goes after leaving. To the Prison Moon Nexus to have a good cry. It seems other Startouch Elves can warp to this area to comfort -or taunt- Aaravos, if they even care.

I've been rewatching the entire series in anticipation of having everything fresh for the newest season. It's honestly a lot better than I remember. The lower frame rate did make the first season look choppy and rough around the edges, but subsequent episodes really improved on that animation style. As for what I think about the latest teaser trailer, well, I just can't WAIT to get more Startouched elf lore! My theory is Aaravos and this new elf are related, and by that I don't mean they're just of the same race; I think they might be of the same bloodline. Startouched elves are rare after all.
