The Neuro Mobile App (a free download for all iOS and Android devices) unlocks a far-reaching collection of powerful features in Source Audio’s One Series effects pedals. With a standard audio cable (included with every One Series pedal), the Neuro App connects from your device’s headphone jack to Input Channel 2 of any One Series pedal. It’s a simple connection that brings unprecedented power to a fully streamlined effects pedal with a remarkably compact footprint.
Features:
Access an extended set of effect editing parameters, stereo routing options, and advanced EQ control.
Browse Source Audio’s free library of bonus effect algorithms.
Create a user profile and save customized presets in your own personal effects library or - if you’re so inclined - publish them for the entire world to hear.
Email and text presets to your friends with the simple Share function. You can also post them directly to your Facebook page!
Check out popular presets from other One Series owners, including exclusive tones dialed in by Source Audio’s growing list of endorsing artists - all at no additional cost.
Burn your settings to one of the three toggle switch positions on your One Series pedal - the next time the pedal powers up, it will keep the custom settings.
Supports all Source Audio One Series pedals including: Vertigo Tremolo, Gemini Chorus, Mercury Flanger, Lunar Phaser, Aftershock Bass Distortion, L.A. Lady Overdrive, and Kingmaker Fuzz.
Works with all iOS and Android devices.
most innovative user friendly advanced featured delay pedal on the market imo and reasonably priced too \m/
Just sold me with this video. Was torn between this and an EL Cap but the presets and ability to tweak definitely works for me!
How to connect recent iPhone models (models without audio output) with the pedal?
Great tutorial! Thank you for your great work and how you listen to what your customers want .
Thanks for the kind words! We have learned sooooooo much from listening to what customers want. So yeah, that is a must.
Wow! I had no idea the Nemesis had an app! I’ll be trying it out.
WOW they should put in the "max delay time" 8 or 10 seconds and update it in the neuroapp since it does not have a loop and to be able to have the option to use the TAP or not to use it, this would be great
Thanks for that great tutorial. The Source Audio pedals are all brilliant IMHO. My bass needs the Spectrum NOW!
I'm ordering one of these lads tomorrow, I simply can't wait to get fiddling!
Fiddling is fun. :-)
Amazing. Will be purchasing this week...
Good job, I understand the "send all" / "burn" flow better. Funny, I've ended up with some interesting unitentional presets by forgetting to "send all" and just using the hold/save on the pedal itself!
Thanks! We're glad you found it helpful.
Just opened my lovely box from the postman today. Can't wait to dig in!
Has there been any consideration for either A) a full-on desktop editor for Windows/Mac? and B) allowing a USB connection from an iOS device via the camera connection kit? Last I heard, headphone output jacks are disappearing for some unknown reason (horrible, horrible trend).
Thx nice video, is there any possibility to search by name in the app or somewhere else presets?
Thanks so much for this
Is the Neuro app still working? I downloaded this on my tablet, hooked up the cable from source audio that I bought (part# sa166 I believe?) And tried to tweak my presets but nothing I did on the app would send to the pedal...
Great pedal, still happy with it but the app was a big thing for me since I don't use a desktop/laptop.
I have an iphone 11. I have no headphone jack. Please tell me how I can make this work.
Do you have the link to download the app on iOS ?
Great video. Really useful.
On thing though: when i save my preset (save as), it doesn't show in my user menu, like your newly created barracuda... Any idea why?
Thank you!
you have to connect the phone with a CABLE? No Bluetooth??
Just hopping in to pile on about the rapidly disappearing 1/8" output jacks.
How can you use the Neuro app if your input2 is in use from another stereo pedal before it?
You set everything up first, use MIDI and the HUB and a MIDI controller, and you can recall any and all of those 128. If you wanna change on the fly, yeah you gotta unplug, load sound, and plug your second output from your other stereo pedal back in.
If you use a few One Series pedals you can create "scenes" - 128 per pedal + 128 for each additional pedal - and recall them and control some parameters via MIDI.
I have the Neuro Hub, Gemini Chorus, Vertigo Trem, and now the Nemesis delay. Hub connected to my BOSS ES-8 via MIDI.
You can do the same by using the Neuro Desktop app. The front pedal has an USB port for this.
Hi. My unit treats input 2 as a second audio input and produces delays out of it. I could not make it treat as some control events sent. What am I doing wrong?
Do you have an app like this that works on a PC?
Already answered my own question... YES, there is an app for PC's... thank you, becuase I have a 43-inch PC monitor... I'd not be liking squinting at my teeny phone screen... yay
So I can create a stereo delay with 1/4 notes going to center-right and modulated dotted 1/8 notes going to center-left, with the dotted 8ths around twice the level of the 1/4 note repeats? Kinda like the "Run Like Hell" thing.
You can get pretty close to that - I believe Gilmour was using 2 delay pedals on that track (I could be wrong). What you can do is set Tap 1 to a quarter note and Tap 2 to 3/4, which puts you at a dotted 8th. You can then set different Output Levels for Tap 1 and Tap 2 and pan them where you want in your stereo spread. It won't give you EXACTLY what you're describing, but it will put you in the ballpark.
This is insane
Silly question, can you use an iPad instead of an iPhone. I followed these directions exactly but using my iPad and it did not work!!!!
It should work fine with an iPad. Make sure that the volume is turned up all the way on your iPad. Also, make sure your Nemesis has the latest firmware. Here is a link to the Downloads page on our website - www.sourceaudio.net/downloads.html download the Neuro Desktop App and update your Nemesis. If you have any other questions, feel free to email our tech support at contact@sourceaudio.net. :-)
What if my phone has no headphone jack? My current one does, but that won’t be for long. There is no bluetooth? My concern is in 3 years, will anybody want this because phones and ipads don’t have headphone jacks anymore.
Thlse phones 'should' come with a usb c to headphone adapter
How do I control this pedal with midi? I can’t find any info on what the midi preset change numbers are to save presets to my musicomlab
MIDI PC messages 1 through 128 (or 0 through 127) will engage the corresponding preset. If you want to control the Nemesis with MIDI CC messages, check our MIDI Implementation guide. Here it is - www.sourceaudio.net/uploads/1/1/5/1/115104065/nemesis_midi_implementation_7_17.pdf
Say I burned a preset i created on the app to the unit. If i tweak the preset on the unit can I update my preset on the app? or is the app only a one way communication?
The Neuro Mobile App is only one way communication, so no - changes made on the pedal itself are not reflected in the App. However, we have released a desktop version of the Neuro Editor and that does have 2 way communication. Here is a link to a tutorial video on the Neuro Desktop Editor - ua-cam.com/video/eLgfq5kRIzo/v-deo.html&t
If you overwrite one of the onboard delay engines, is there a way to restore it?
Yes, you can either do a Factory Reset which brings back all the setting that the Nemesis shipped with. You can also go to the Factory tab in the Browse Sounds page and select the engine that you want to put back into its rightful Effect Selector position. Once you open that engine in the Sound Editor, you can hit the burn button at the bottom of the page and select the original Effect Selector position and hit Burn again.
sourceaudioeffects thanks for the reply!
Phone did not connect to the pedal for me (Essential phone)
Try turning the audio all the way up on your phone. If that doesn't work, try clicking back a couple of volume notches on the phone. If that doesn't work email us at contact@sourceaudio.net.
It doesn't work for me..
I just hear my own presets, i cant hear anything from the app..
If you want to check out the Source Audio factory presets or other user presets you need to connect your phone to wi-fi.
