Yes I did have problems synchronizing after adding the new key. I just gave up and sold the car. Thing is a piece of shit for a bmw w all the unreliable electronics and clogged catalytic converter that no mugfler shop wants to work on since german engineering made it a $$$$ and complex job to do.
@@ChiemyChanga I bought the Autel KM100 because of your video, because I also have a 760 and also needed new keys. It might be good if you put the reference in your video description. The Autel KM100 works without problems with cars that have only one engine control unit. As for the vast majority of cars... on my 5 series e61 the Autel worked without problems the key was programmed in 30s and worked. But the 760 was a problem.
@@jerrybmwm5 no that’s not true I got the same autel km 100 and I used it successfully on a bmw e66 with cas1 and on a e61 with cas2 (white). The problem with the e66 was that the v12 got two engine ECUs and the Autel only registered one. But I fixed that problem with my laptop.
So the keys are only semi smart keys? I have comfort access and would like that working. I added a key like you did but ca didn’t work. Do you have ca?
Comfort access is smart key so you should of chose smart key when programming key. Semi smart key is the key where you have to put it into slot to start car on Bmw. So Bmw with comfort access is smart key and non comfort access is semi smart key..Also when you buy a cas3 key make sure it's for comfort access unless your using the Autel key then you can generate key for semi smart and smart key.
Ok I will give another go on another key. I have a 750Li, It gives a warning that it may affect other keys working so I didn’t want to take that chance. I need to remove lost master key with software then try again I guess.
@@autogarage9167 With comfort access you can only program 2 comfort access keys and they have to be programmed to the first 2 positions. So if you program a comfort access key to say position 3 to 10 or what ever the allowable key spaces are the comfort access will not work. So before programming a key you have to delete what ever key is missing in either key slot 1 or 2 and then you can program a new comfort access key in that position.
Yes it does but after you add the key by the km100E you need to re synchronized the dme and cas with a tool like inpa. I did it on my 760 e66 and at first I panicked a little bit so I learn it.
@@jerrybmwm5I don’t know if there is a difference to the US version in the KM100E but I also tried this tool on a early e60 no problem, e92 and e84 all working fine only the e66 760 gave me a little struggle.
Do you have any problems with the DME synchronized after adding the new key? I also have 760 and now my second DME have 2737 error. First DME is fine

Do you allow me to video quote your UA-cam video?
Only need short sequence for my own video I’m about to make.

This doesn’t work in NA.

That's not a transponder fob so it won't work with comfort access.
Ur video to much cut
