Hhh, this story always freaks me out like how just a small action could really ruin somebody's life
he was most likely framed, honestly at this point, its not a small action, it was a whole propaganda scheme against someone with a less preferable identity
Small in normal non dictated countries.
Him being an all american boy is such a double edged sword.. that aspect of his identity plays a big role on getting trump and media to be more proactive of his safety. Yet it also makes him the perfect candidate of hatred by north korea and thus the one chosen to be framed
I really don’t think it was him in the video I feel like they just saw an opportunity where an American was alone and no one could prove he didn’t do it so they used him as an example

I know Americans can't go to North Korea anymore, but if you could, and if I went for some reason, I would be afraid of just looking at someone the wrong way and getting arrested.
There are pictures of him in the hospital with his family. His hands and feet were going inward and his face was unrecognizable. I saw it. It's heartbreaking. He also had a verbal reaction to the airplane and his family. Find the footage for that. There's some important facts missing.
Some people in power get to a point where they feel like literal gods. Money, power, narcissism + a large group of people that die and kill for you? It's more terrifying than fiction

He was 100 percent framed and scripted and forced to say things during that conference. The report was recorded not live. So if he said anything they didn't approve of or spoke about what was going on with him they would have never got his voice out and probably done more to him. It's just a joke to north Korean military. So the footage was not Otto his stature is completely different from how he looks. The things that North Korea even stated for him to say during the conference were things that they them self don't like. Which makes it more obvious. His treatment there was bad to say the least.

Anyone in the CIA isn’t supposed to be telling anyone they’re in the CIA, and if you knew there would have been an NDA preventing you and your entire lively bloodline from close family to distant relatives from even sending this comment or talking about it. I don't think it was him in the footage. But even if it is him, the "trial" is still too unfair for it to really matter.
By the way, for me the main reason why I would never go to North Korea is that I would feel incredibly wrong giving money to that government and then having a nice vacation all the while being aware what is happening outside of that hotel. I mean there aren't any small business owners you could support while being there. Your travel money would go to those top people. And of course it's a dangerous to go there too. Not putting any blame on Otto here though. Nothing but sympathy for him and his family.

It isnt him. They use americans to be able to negotiate weapons, trade etc. They knew that if they got him they would be able to do exactly that.

We choose Possibility #3: Otto was alive with no brain damage, just right before N.Korea released him to the US. During the period of trajectory before his family saw him, it was the CIA who tortured and “damaged” his brain. Yes, Otto was recruited even before his trip to N.Korea, as the CIA recruits anyone for its missions.
By the way, Mike POMPEO is one of those war criminals. No one believes what the CIA says. Their principal task is “NOT to disclose the truth” just in case you have not yet recognised it. The USA is considered as a State of war crimes, currently by the entire world.
