To me...... this is "America's Cup" sailing at it's BEST! Here was a case of the Luna Rossi boat and crew simply out sailing the AmericaOne boat and crew! And this was a fairly "clean" race by both boats!
Thanks for posting this! Also it might just be me, but I actually prefer the older Cup boats, like if we could go back to the J Class boats that would be my dream. That being said I understand why we have the AC 75s and the idea of pushing the envelope with their designs. They certainly are cool and push the envelop, but when do we consider the designs to have moved from traditional sailing and turned into essentially flying boats? Their mainsails are designed to act like wings now, and they are up on their hydrofoils like 99% of the time. Very very cool and cutting edge but it feels a little disconnected from say sailing in 420’s or Rhodes 19’s. But I don’t know, maybe my fretting about the future boat designs is stupid.

Are you planning to upload 30th America's Cup LV Finals ITL vs. USA Race 8?
This is when these races were tactical. Now they are more technical. I miss the tactics
Beautiful sweet memories, how beautiful were these boats? Anyway I can't wait to see these AC75 compete. Forza Luna Rossa

J boats. Yes please.
Yes, I agree. They were exciting to watch in San Francisco when a modern concept was new. J Class has my vote too.
The AC 75s have no soul. They simply are no longer connected to the sea or sailing. A J class boat is the exact opposite and why it is so appealing.
Multi-hulls and foiling boats are fine but it's not the same sport. I prefer the tactical challenges and seamanship of these big displacement boats.
Thanks for posting these, great stuff. Can the AC media team post the ac45 world series racing from ac34/35?
Extraordinary skills when you consider the size and weight of these things.
Where is race 8?
What a perfect example of teamwork! I’m thinking Team USA needs some more training! They looked like “We lost” Why bother.
Forza Luna Rossa ma un grazie ancora oggi al grande Paul Cayard… ha fatto tanti per la nostra vela e viva il Moro!!! ❤️👌🤗🫶🏻
When the AC was match racing.
Wooah we came a long way since then
Back when the cup meant actual sailing, not this clinical foiling we get today...
It’s all actual sailing…..
Well that was a fucking routing wasn’t it
Its like watching paint dry
Not if you’re a sailor, mate
uè @americascup we would like to see race 8, thank you :)
