Congratulations on receiving beautiful pens to review and the affiliations with the pen companies! :D Keep it up!! You already know what keeps me going in the fountain pen hobby and passion ;) Can't wait to see what's in store for you!

I got into fountain pens at a very young age, due to disability, I was having difficulty with pain and handwriting; So my very astute grandmother who was very influential in raising me, purchased me a Sheaffer touchdown upon entering the 1st grade (which I still own to this day, yes it has had some parts replaced over the decades and decades of use) to provide a painless and easily controlled way for me to write. She had spent her youth becoming very familiar with fountain pens being born in the previous century and working in a stationery / pen shop from a very young age (being allowed to live in the shops attic for survival as she had been discharged onto the streets at such age) until the age she was married (immediately following WW1). I really have never looked back in all these decades of writing as the tool itself provides a far better experience for someone like me and I wouldn't exchange it for any ballpoint nor rollerball, and yes the technology for those certainly has changed to some extent; However the merits that the FP provide me will always win out (tho i will buy them occasionally to complete vintage pen sets in my collecting)

Thank you for sharing this! I love hearing this. My
Daughter mimics my pens currently. I got her a cheap was as she’s super young but I love to share it with family going forward as well.

So my story of how I got into fountain pens, I’m a mechanic I work on boats been doing it for about 20 years and I love it.
But anyone that’s a professional knows a good tool is priceless rather that’s a good computer, a knife, a wrench, whatever.
So for all my professional life I’ve had top level tools snap-on, neapro, SK, Matco, and so on. So fast forward to 3 years ago I’m promoted to shop supervisor and transition to doing a lot more office work and less of actually turning wrenches, but my mindset is the same right tool for the right job and started looking for the best pens I could this lead down the ribbit hole and now my collection is something like 80-90 strong.

Happy for your channel growth and affiliates. I’m here for the left-handed-pen-geek content. The ink on your hands in your videos mirrors my pain and lets me know it’s legit. Please don’t ever sell VPNs or anything non pen related. Also no click bait red arrows, oh-face garbage in the thumbnails. 🙏
