- Hello Friends & Family!
Thank you for watching this video today of our LIVING ROOM featuring vintage heart boxes, cherubs, roses, and lots of beautiful porcelain collectibles. Enjoy some relaxing music too. We've always enjoyed thrifting at Goodwill, other thrift stores, and antique shops in MN and WI for vintage furniture, lighting, glassware, kitchenalia, and fun accessories to use and decorate our home since 2005. We look forward to reading your comments and are GRATEFUL for your kind support.

I really love that gold owl in the window and I agree, It really does go very well with the gold tree lined drapes. Great find!🦉
Oh yes I forgot to mention the owl. It's stunning and just screams the 1970's. It looks amazing with your curtains.❤

I just loved the living room. The pink with red accents works perfectly. Thank you for the hard work you go to to prep your house for us to take these lovely tours. I feel sad when they are over.
You NEVER disappoint!!! Your decorating skills and “your eye” for design are always perfect. But, I must say, I think your living room Valentine’s Day 2024 is my all time favorite. I so appreciate the effort to which you and Norm go cleaning, decorating and editing these fabulous videos. Hope you are feeling better and prayers for Norm’s upcoming surgery.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

That cute car planter would be so cute with a sitting wedding couple sitting in it for valentines! Just a thought! 😍
Your home is just full of love.😊
13:00 Wow! That owl fairy lamp is amazing.
Hope Norm is keeping comfortable and feeling as good as he can considering hus upcoming surgery. Also hope you Peg are feeling better too.
Now back to the video.🥰
Such fun, thank you.
I love your swan collection and the heart milk glass plates are to die for. I have Better Homes and Garden cookbook for holidays from the 50's that feature heart shape milk glass plates with a Valentines cake. Just gorgious. Fun video as always. I know the heart shape pillows are new but they remind me of the conversation candy hearts thatcwe used to eat in grade school. So fun.❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Peggy Lou. What a beautifully done display! I have a small collection of hand vases and dishes, so I really like that hand vase in the shadow box. But the real stars of the show were the center vase on the mantle and the gold hanging owl 🦉. WOW! Thanks for all your hard work and let us know how Norm is doing and take care of that cough.❤
Hello Peggy and Norm. I just got back from a hour long walk in a park with my sister and her husband and excellent timing to be able to sit down and relax watching your video. It's beautiful sunshine and almost 60 here in Portland Oregon area. I especially like your gold plant stand and the crochet pillow on the couch and your fairy lamps 😍 you two take care ❤
❤❤❤
Hey there my sweet Peggy, loving what I am seeing thus far, the centre vase on the shadow box is so unusual.
I love a bit of Italian pottery myself. I'll be keeping my eyes out for that car planter. I love the colour theme, pink red and white, perfect for v-day.
Oh what a great idea to add the rose garland around the stem of the plant stand, looks like it's in a cottage garden how cute. Hoping your cough eases my friend, no need to apologise, just get better. I'm sure you've guessed by now that I'm typing this comment as I watch the video lol. Oh wow that gold/brass owl!! Never seen anything like that before. Lol whoo was that in the background, Mr norm lol 🦉🦉🦉.
Your collection of cherub 👼 and items with applied flowers have really grown over the past couple of years, that is the beauty of the thrift store prices. 💵💵
Isn't it frustrating when you can't find something you've put away for safe keeping grrr I do that all the time!!
I love the pink 🦢 wall pockets, absolutely beautiful, another very delicate and unusual vase for the mantle centrepiece, all so beautiful Peggy another gorgeous job. Please take care, give my best wishes to Norm. Your friend over the pond. 👋👋💙💙
BEAUTIFUL JOB
All your items in the LR are sooooo pretty. Lots of work you go through and I love all your tours. I agree the shorter lucite candles are easier to work with. Only have found two different pairs over the years. Clear with silver flakes and the other with copper flakes. The silver ones came in the original holders for $1.00 each at our thrift store. TY
How perfect is that owl with the curtains…glad you bought it and still keep that hooting owl in the background.😅. Love the pink swan too! Peggy, God made me mischievous so I think I might get away with a little in Heaven too. If not, I hope the punishment is not too severe. Everything looks so pretty with your marvelous collections (Most bought at Pier 1?…I could not resist.). Hope you two start feeling great!

Peg, is that red LE Smith covered dish Moon and Stars? It is so beautiful.
Not a begonia. You have a member of the philodendron family. About 40 years ago, the Japanese found a way to remove the color genes from a plant and splice it into a different one. The original was the red of a caladium spliced into a green and white deiffenbachia known as a dumb cane because the sap has a numbing quality. The results were the white turned red. This opened up the possibilities of developing plants in new colors to the species. Cloning cells from the red plant made hundreds of exact copies of it.
