I just ordered one, what will be my 4th device from OneXPlayer :) I have already the two other X1's, whereas the one with AMD is superior over the Intel one (obviously). I am really happy with all these devices and never use my Legion Go or ROG Ally.
I just purchased a Minisforum v3. I really like it. However, I think this may be more what I'm looking for. Probably the Standard x1. 11" seems about perfect as a 3in1. The v3 is great, but larger than what I have in my mind. Seeing what I've been seeing about the Ryzen 890M and Intel Lunar Lake now, I may just wait for that generation to show up in a product like this. From what I've seen those next gen chips can add 15-25% better performance from the 8840u in this, and my v3.
This is exactly what happened to me. I had a Minisforum V3 and thought I could use a telescopic controller with it. And you can (the G8+)! But it's way too big to hold for any length of time and it doesn't feel comfortable. If you're using an external bluetooth controller, it's fine. But I just got an X1 and I love it! The d-pad isn't great for fighting games and there is a slight cheapness to the controller overall, but it works fine for most scenarios. The device is so versatile...it truly does feel like a laptop, tablet and a handheld in one.
@@JB-tp6uj the v³ is a great device. I really like it. But yeah, had something else in mind. I just found a great eBay deal on a GPD Win Max 2 (7840u). I think it's gonna be what I was after. The onex would be too, but couldn't find a used efurb unit to make it make money sense for me. Gonna return my v3, check out this Win Max 2, and probably buy a new OneX or GPD when the new amd chips hit those devices. Thanks for sharing your experience

The Mini is great, we have been using it a lot recently.
Great review!
What's the name of that song during 'best settings for games with gameplay footage'?
We made it using udio.com

We will have the GPD Duo with HX 370 very soon. We will be running a bunch of benchmarks to see how it compares with previous generation.
