It has to be perfect that's the trick, the hardest part is the math and the shuffle, that's why he's the best, if he wasn't able to perfectly shuffle the trick doesn't work. Best card mechanic ever.

I'm guessing this accuracy is the first necessary skill in deck stacking. You have to be able to do perfect alternation before you can create imperfections in the alternation to move cards around where you want them.
That's how he does it, every shuffle is a perfect alternation. That was he can keep track of which cards what. He's good.

I have an observation. If the cards alternate perfectly, now it's a new deck order but every card is doubled. Idk it could probably be used for some trick.

This is the reason he can memorize cards he memorized the order then shuffles the know that order. Also he knows when he cuts from the thickness of the cards what the order will be. This takes decades to master
