At this rate, he's fed up with the team. I think his decision to leave for ferrari is right. Ferrari is still a better team than merc in this era. Also, don't forget the fact that Kimi Raikonnen is the coolest driver of all time.

    'After TERRIBLE Austin GP'
It was lewis that put it 18th and it was lewis that lost the back end on lap 1, not the team when your teammate puts it p6 and recovers 14 places in the race from a pit lane start then maybe it's time to consider that it could at least partially be your fault.

George crashed in quali cause of the new upgrades. Lewis knocked in Q1 and crashed on lap 2 because of the new upgrades. George switched to Singapore spec and got to p6….

You know it's kind of hilarious watching the media cover anything F1 related. How many videos are posted about, "Hamilton being sabotaged by Mercedes," but when Perez makes very similar mistakes, gets caught out and DNFs or doesn't make it out of Q1, then suddenly RB should replace him with a junior driver. When Hamilton messes up, everyone blames Wolf and the management. Which one is it?
Clearly, Hamilton is struggling with the fact he no longer has a championship-winning car, his attitude is poor, and he isn't giving it his all. Which is no one else's fault but his own, and it's not just going to change overnight when he goes to Ferrari.

thats my issues with hamilton and why i always rank him lower the shumacher
its been 4 years yes team is struggling, but he chose to bail after year 3, shumacher worked for 5 years before making ferrari what they were
he is just jumping to another team who had done better and he is hoping to just capitalize on it
honestly i would have rather seen him work it out with mercedes and win again together
he is all about driving for the winning team
he did same thing when he left mclaren
noticed that mercedes is just about to start being a championship contender and then jumped ship
ohwell i wont fault him for wanting to be in a winning car but for me turning a average car into a championship winning car would be more satisfying 🤷‍♂️
but hey he makes millions and i dont so what do i know

Schumacher also was younger when he went through that. Lewis doesn’t have time on his side to help fix and bring a team back to the top

anyways i like lewis he is in my top 3 of all time greats, but il always have a slight distain for how he went about he’s career, but im just a critic on youtube, as long as he thinks its what he should do then all the power to him

yeah Mercedes should have treated him better, but that spin at COTA - sorry driver error, although the car did appear to snap on him. I hope he does get to grips with that Ferrari straight away, I'm sure he will. will be interesting to see when he drives alongside LeClerc, I wonder who will come out on top? I'm going to say Lewis but only just, Charles is quite unlucky. Lewis is a top bloke though, I wish him well at Ferrari.

Bro, how delusional is this comment. Merc gave this man a championship-winning car for 8 years IN A ROW and way too much credit goes Hamilton's way and not to the team. They aren't winning anymore, that doesn't mean you just give up and stop performing at your best week in and week out. Hamilton's struggles as of late have been no one's fault but his own, it's clear as day by the fact he is showing up to every GP saying, "I can't wait until this week is over". His head isn't in the game anymore and that isn't going to change just by going to Ferrari, especially because there is no guarantee at this point they will be better than RB or McLaren next season.
How on earth could they have treated him better? He's the one who made the decision to leave, Merc didn't force him out like RB did to Ricciardo.

@@Agdem_ I only meant this year, they have been a bit distant with him and that's just how it comes across, others are claiming conspiracy and all sorts, I don't buy into that at all. yes Merc have been great to him overall and I honestly agree with most of what you say, but it appears that Lewis is almost second fiddle to George (and I'm a massive Russell fan btw so was laughing at this at first), but overall it does seem a bit odd that they didn't appear to be behind him with as much gusto shall we say as previous seasons before 2023. I think Mercedes are risking a lot in putting in Kimi Antonelli - I don't think Russell is ready to help lead him, when he still needs to gain more experience himself. Kimi could well put Russell under pressure and that would be good, but I fear Kimi A will be a sink or swim scenario. we'll see .

I hope they don't kill him in the process as all the strange things that are happening js not Lewis doing.
Mercedes wants to save face due to the team will be without they star driver.
Bono been promoted to keep him quiet and they are doing all they can to make sure Russell finish ahead of Lewis so that they can convince some of their sponsors to stay with them rather than follow Lewis.

Much respect for Hamilton but he simply cant keep up with the younger drivers. Mercedes will be back on top in 2026 and probably Verstappen wiil jon them in 2026. Hamilton probably will end as second driver at Ferrari as I dont see him defeat Leclerc, unless Leclerc has a lot of bad luck or car failures.

Lewis should stop driving for the rest of the season, he has not enough energy to do it, makes fautks after faults. Let mick drive instead of him, he burns to drive ,he can't crash more often ,and toto could proof his words of ..mick is family..by giving him.the chance to show why Audi should take him..or not

    • @jjharson7344
      @jjharson7344 3 дні тому

so your saying Mick is a better driver than Lewis? nah.... no way. Mercedes owes Lewis when you consider what Lewis has done for that team. look at how well he has integrated George into Mercedes, doing background work so George can get his car further up the grid. Hamilton is the best team player in F1 in my opinion, any team is lucky to have such a selfless driver like Lewis. let's not forget that.

@@jjharson7344 no,I said, Lewis seems to make faults he never did before, he also seems to be demotivated y and also they can't involve him.into all already ,cause he leaves the team and they can't speak about all changes upcoming , beside that toto called mick a member of the family, and letting mick drive the last races instead of Lewis would help all, maybe mick can prove he is good enough maybe not , Lewis and Mercedes both have not huge motivation in working close together cause if the Ferrari situation , so the best option for all would be..letting the burning reserve driver take the seat, as Lewis doesn't burn for this, in his mind he is already at Ferrari..and Mercedes can't develop a car with someone being in another team in few weeks

@@ashearavonderboerde7194 We are all Human and we all make mistakes, Lewis has not made very many over the years compared to most other drivers, the stats also prove that, plus Lewis is a clean racing driver overall, again he has the stats to back it up. he is getting on a bit in F1 terms, but has the ability and skill to remain for at least a few more years, I think it will be sad to see Alonso and Lewis retire, its' great having more proven champions in the field. so I'm saying don't write him off, as I think he has a lot still to give, and yes his thoughts must be on the new job ahead at Ferrari, but given the right conditions there still could be a win for him this season.

I bet Hamilton will still drive better, than Mick would. Mick already proved in his two years in F1 that his a decent driver and so Hamilton would do better, than Mick. If Mick started to drive for Mercedes now. I bet he would finish most of this seasons remaining races in 7th, 8th or 9th place, because his talent isnt up there. His already 25 year old, so he should have proven before that he is worthy to countinue driving in F1. The only thing that is going for him is his surname, while his talent isnt really that close to his fathers talent.

Just, because Lewis crashed at Austin. You think he should let Mick drive. Rusell has crashed also a lot with that Mercedes car, but it hasent made you think he should give his seat to Mick then. Drivers typically crash atleast in one race of their season of 24 races, so it aint that Hamilton has become terrible driver for crashing in Austin. Still he has won two races this season. Something I dont think Mick has just the talent for to win a race with a Mercedes car.
